Tip for switching sorcery and items: if you also bind a keyboard key to switching in addition to mouse wheel, then you can hold that key to automatically go back to the first sorcery/item you have equipped. For example, say you have the "3" key and mouse wheel down bound to "Switch Item" and you equip the Flask of Crimson Tears to your first item slot in your Equipment tab. Then during a fight, you scroll down to cycle through your various equipped items and you can hold "3" at any time to return to your Flask of Crimson Tears. Pretty helpful when you have a bunch of items/spells equipped with one that you use often and want to easily get to!
bro you are actually a savior for us new people in elden ring i was struggling with the hard attack and dodging and u mostly fixed it for me thanks so much
I remember requesting this video on one of your older videos (prolly was the stats one). I started with the souls-like genre again after a long time since Elden Ring had got my so much hyped and excited and I am a kb/m guy myself and I don't like using controller (plus the one I had was a cheap xbox knockoff which apparently has stopped functioning because it's over 10+ years already lol). Actually that flask tip is huge and am surely gonna incorporate that the next time I boot up Elden Ring (also I was using the skill and sprint bindings the same as yours since I found that to be optimal! :D) 7:48 It's ok Kami, we all know how hard it is to get the algorithm affected if one doesn't plan on using the SEO words to get the videos floating, especially on the ones which takes up a lot of editing time. Been watching you since Paladins OB days and you always had the fun personality. I didn't even think you would make this video until today I happen to open your channel and see it's done. Thank you for your efforts and cheers!
thanks! this was super helpful. The PC port has a lot of menu and controls lacking.. this helps. Now if we could get the performance and 60 FPS cap fixed.
I play Elden Ring with my controller because the keybinds were so wonky and I tried to make some changes of my own but still felt weird. After 200+ hours I can finally play with my Keyboard & Mouse lmao, thx for the help.
I play with mouse and keyboard but it still feels clunky and stuttery when you use w + "a" or "d" and then looking around with the mouse. there something working against each other and causes this weird feeling while moving around. What really frustrates me is that there is no extra binding for the horse. switching between horse and healing is so annoying...
(This comment is not a slight or critique on your video, it's awesome) 5:43 this is so ridiculous... imagine if you could just set a keybind for number key 1-4 for your pouch items. Or maybe Z,X,C,V. And maybe keys 5-0 for specific items in your inventory so you don't have to scroll through items on a loop trying to hit the right flask in time. There has to be a better way...
And like...for you to use your health or mana flask, you have to completely let go of any movement key. E+1 good luck running around lol. I know, it's fast to press those, but god damn it lol.
This is my first souls game that I got after holiday steam card has been had. I definitely struggled with default keybinds and it’s not exactly the best pc port, you can definitely tell they had controllers in mind first. One thing I still can’t figure out on pc is how to 2 hand a weapon, anyone help me with that?
So... after 30 hours... now I randomly thanks to this video learned I can sprint in the game... oh nice. :D yet, somehow I don't think game mentioned this anywhere so I don't think it's really my fault.

such a simple video yet absolutely hilarious XD
I hope you upload some gameplay on this channel
sounds unpleasant in the same way driving a car with a keyboard would be.
I'm watching this to support u i don't play on PC lol 🤙🤙
They are in fact the best keybindings for Elden Ring. :) I can confirm as a M&KB User.
Awesome helpful video
Really wish they would separate sprint and dodge ;_;
5. we enjoy watching your videos.

i think f its better for dodge, because of other games and that you can pot easier because r is on top of f
I just can't see myself playing a souls game on keyboard. ya gotta have the xbox controller because window is biased toward it.
tell that to Let me solo her .... lol
Pad is only good for auto games, normal cannot play fps with pad but that why it has autoaiming
It's so frustrating bro, my controller works most of the time, but when I connect a second controller to play SF6, they stop working on Elden Ring
The little hat :')
Man, please upload some gameplay kami
Just no man. 😂

This has convinced me to buy a controller...
