How he went this entire playthrough without using Magic Glintblade is beyond my comprehension. Its so fun and funny to use, when you cast it it makes everyone just start rolling because of how the ai tracks casting/projectiles.
I've actually never noticed this in any of my recordings using nvenc through shadow play or OBS. But I'm also not a total masochist who watches hundreds of hours of gameplay footage for free.
A good alternative int build I did was just using the carian spells (well mostly), like carian slicer, adula's greatsword, carian piercer etc. Heavily melee focused and fun as hell while still being a pure int build
It doesn't take long to roll after using a flask, you're just using them while standing right in front of the boss, which is why you keep getting hit by the boss. You need to wait for an opportunity to drink.

Definitely not as easy to use spells as people think, especially if you're building an int heavy character (int 80). You're generally a glass cannon and need to be on point with timing and dodging. Most spells take time to cast leaving you vulnerable af. I had a much harder time with my int/arcane playthrough then my strength/endurance/faith playthrough.
