I was forced to replace the music from 2:05 to 2:40 It sounds awful and I hate it and the original music there was a really great custom composition that I hired a friend to produce. But Sony doesn't care so I had to replace it. Fuck Sony.

for what it's worth: despite sharing a healthbar, fire giant phase 2 is actually a fully different enemy that the game spawns in after phase 1, so I think it's only fair that each phase gets one hit each. malenia, meanwhile, actually *is* just one enemy with her healthbar refilled -- which is probably why the game won't let her die until she finishes scarlet aeonia, because it doesn't want her to accidentally die for real during phase 1

you can actually oneshot the fire giant now, if he has frost inflicted on him when he enters the mid fight cutscene, he will just straight up die. i beleive this is because in that fight the timer accounting for frost damage isnt actually frozen, and will account the entire cutscene's time as time frost should have been inflicted and on the first frame after the cutscene he drops to zero. (this may be inapplicable to the current version your running though.)
Yeah, I used a poisoned antspur rapier on him and something similar happened. After phase transition, all the damage stacked all at once and I hit him once and then he died. I was shocked but it was so absurd I laughed out loud.
This is the case for any status effects atm. even bosses with very brief cutscenes or none at all will die immediatly upon entering the second phase if they do so while affected by a status effect

I saw someone doing the same challenge with different rules and i have to say that this challenge isn't technically a 1 hit all bosses simply because the double hammer strat is a *double* hammer which means that theres *2* hits instead of one, same with carian retaliation, its 3 shots not one. I understand that it was the only way because some bosses are just impossible to 1 shot. Good job!

I know it's kind of par for the course on this channel but as someone who edits (from time to time and not nearly on this level), I cannot FUCKING IMAGINE how much time the intro sequence at 2:43 took. Your work is stellar.
The bug with Malenia (at least used to) also make it impossible to change phases by parrying and then riposting her, for some reason her stun animation had the same property where it doesn't allow her to die. (The easy solution is to just slap her when she's coming out of it). Learned that doing a no weapon upgrades no flask ng+7 challenge run of her, was mildly confusing until I figured out what was going on lol.
This was good fun to watch. Love the post-production editing and total package too. Wielding the two gigantic hammers cracked me up. How the hell do you move with those heavyweight monstrosities is amazing. And the damage they do is out of this world. Great vid.
If you want to be able to carry two gigantic hammers, clearly all you have to do is do 100 push ups, 100 squats,100 sit-ups and a 10km run every day for a while.
I think the hammer and explosion combo counts. You are doing them both at the same time, it requires incredibly precise timing to pull off, and we already are accepting multihit attacks and help from friends with perfect timing as one attack for the purpose of whether it was one attack and therefore a one shot boss kill. The explosion is effectively a buff that adds a third hit to the double hammer.
God I wish I could finish this whole video! Unfortunately I don't want to spoil anything as I haven't seen anything that I haven't experienced myself! Watched around halfway though, and this was amazing. Editing is phenomenal, you absolute chad.
25:45 Maybe if you somehow popped a starlight shard sometime before you use Azur on Rykard? That might give just enough FP. I don't know when you would pop it, but sometime after most of your fp-consuming buffs, probably. Oh, and the perfect attack RNG, of course.
Idea. 2 people. each with a maxed out primordial staff The no fp tear. the more magic tear. One guy uses normal beam He uses physic. Rykard they switch.
Also since they abused rune duping why not take it further and maxout faith as well as intelligence, then the prince of death's staff is better than lusat's and would've killed rykard without needing any more fp, and also being faster.
Amazing video Inferno, you haven't lost your touch at all! As for your question at 23:37, I say it counts, it's a combo attack done at the same time to kill the boss in an instant. If we're gonna nitpick that one case, then we'd have to say that your "Carian Retaliation" and Dual Hammer kills aren't one shots as well, since they both use more than one source of damage, (Retaliation with 3 projectiles which deal separate damage, and dual hammers which have separate hitboxes). It gets a pass in my book. 👍

The bug with Malenia (at least used to) also make it impossible to change phases by parrying and then riposting her, for some reason her stun animation had the same property where it doesn't allow her to die. (The easy solution is to just slap her when she's coming out of it).
Learned that doing a no weapon upgrades no flask ng+7 challenge run of her, was mildly confusing until I figured out what was going on lol.
The determination, the persistence, the tenacity, and the work put in to this challenge is mind-blowing!!! Thanks for the fun.

I think the hammer and explosion combo counts. You are doing them both at the same time, it requires incredibly precise timing to pull off, and we already are accepting multihit attacks and help from friends with perfect timing as one attack for the purpose of whether it was one attack and therefore a one shot boss kill. The explosion is effectively a buff that adds a third hit to the double hammer.
As someone who loves and is active in the communities for Elden Ring, One Punch Man, and Jojo, the first 3:30 of the video was peak content.

Idea. 2 people. each with a maxed out primordial staff The no fp tear. the more magic tear. One guy uses normal beam He uses physic. Rykard they switch.
Also since they abused rune duping why not take it further and maxout faith as well as intelligence, then the prince of death's staff is better than lusat's and would've killed rykard without needing any more fp, and also being faster.

As for your question at 23:37, I say it counts, it's a combo attack done at the same time to kill the boss in an instant. If we're gonna nitpick that one case, then we'd have to say that your "Carian Retaliation" and Dual Hammer kills aren't one shots as well, since they both use more than one source of damage, (Retaliation with 3 projectiles which deal separate damage, and dual hammers which have separate hitboxes).
It gets a pass in my book. 👍

23:45 the damage of the flask was closer to the second hit than the first was to the second hit. If double hammers count, then so does this flask.

Personally I think killing with a jumping L1 combined with the exploding physick is more a one shot than summoning, and I see no issue with either personally since the damage tracks it all as one
