I've been a vegan for 3 years and a keto-vegan for over a year and it has helped my overall health tremendously. I really appreciate you breaking down the science on the backend!
It’s going great. My macros are 70%, 20%, 10% - which pretty much means I keep my carb intake under 35 grams. That may sound like a high number, but beans are a huge part of my diet for protein. I do eat some of the vegan processed meats like Beyond Meat and Field Roast for protein but try to limit that as much as possible. It’s all a numbers game - make it work for you.
Would love it if you could do a 'complete' vegan keto meal for those following IF/OMAD. A lot of the vegan keto videos are very much snack-based but I only eat one large meal a day so want to ensure it's sufficient in nutrition so that it can fuel my body for building muscle but also doesn't bore me to death.

Thomas, do you have any tips to curb this peanut butter craving I’m having during this Keto flu/plateau thing?? So I’ve been doing Keto for a little over a month and I gave in two weeks ago to carbs but it wasn’t a drastically bad cheat. But I had to start over and now it’s two weeks again and the cravings are back and I don’t want to give up. I have watched your video about the being tired thing. I’m not tired, I’m just craving peanut butter. I kinda gave in yesterday and had peanut butter and it was one with 4g sugar(2g added sugar) and 8g carbs per two tablespoons and I think I had four tablespoons about. I just used a spoon and had two scoops😂 I’m still in ketosis but I am slightly bloated and have discomfort in my stomach. I have tried everything it seems like. I drink water, I ate eggs this morning, I am taking my vitamins, I worked out, nothing is curbing this craving😖 I am trying to get back into intermittent fasting. It’s been only one day of not doing it but I feel like devouring everything in sight.
Cameron Ysidron thanks!! I usually buy organic peanut butter but it’s my weakness and I tend to eat a lot of it making me get kicked out of ketosis. So I don’t really buy it. But my mom had it in the cupboard here and she buys the unhealthy one and I caved in. I caved in again last night with two more scoops 🙄 but no more. I feel like I am over the cravings this morning. Hopefully...
Instead of bashing on other diets than his own, Thomas excepts that there are other ways of eating and tries to help everyone!

Yes, I would love to reduce my Lentil and chick pea consumption consumption. I do No Cow bars which are Keto and I I do use sun warrior products. I simply need to lower my legume consumption. I feel it is too much.
thank you for doing this one :)
What do you recommend for protein intake for vegan keto?
I just used a spoon and had two scoops😂
I’m still in ketosis but I am slightly bloated and have discomfort in my stomach. I have tried everything it seems like. I drink water, I ate eggs this morning, I am taking my vitamins, I worked out, nothing is curbing this craving😖
I am trying to get back into intermittent fasting. It’s been only one day of not doing it but I feel like devouring everything in sight.
Ditch the added sugar PB and buy organic valencia peanut butter with the only ingredient being the peanuts. That would be much better for you
Cameron Ysidron thanks!!
Just have a little peanut butter, just don't go over the 20g limit
