Welcome back! Don't feel bad about the 1900s thing. My kids say I'm from the 1800s! I've made peace with it. I just ordered a copy of Julia Cameron's The Artist Way. I've been procrastinating on starting that book for ages. I need to just sit with it and dig in. Great first vlog for the new year!
1800s? How rude! Yes! Sit with it and dig in. So many people love it. It does help put somethings into perspective, and I am a huge fan of the morning pages even when struggling with the motivation to actually do them lol
I'm doing the Artist's Way too. I did it years ago (sometime before 2010 because I was still living with my grandmother) and tried it again in 2020 but that went like everything else in 2020. I love How To Keep House While Drowning. It gave me a framework for how to actually clean a space, instead of just standing paralyzed with overwhelm. I'm trying to work on developmental edits this quarter. Which on the job training because I am trying to teach myself how to revise.
What week are you on for the Artist's Way? I can imagne how difficult it would have been to do in 2020. Revision is such a mysterious beast to me lol. Good luck with your developmental edits!
