One of the crazy thing about conflicts like these is how they show real life situations that we don’t think about in a modern war. For example, the use of on the ground telecommunication lines. You could have the top of the line technology but sometimes old school and reliable technology will be more useful than any fancy gadgets

You're a 1,000 % correct! A full blown "hot war" with the United States and a near peer power is unlikely. However, both powers have the ability to totally disrupt, and even destroy, one another's communications, gps and many of the weapons themselves. If war did occur, it likely be similar to strategic bombing in the first months of WWII, they didn't bomb cities for fear of a retaliatory strike, they worked around it. Of course that only lasted so long.

If it weren’t for them, thousands of more people would have been killed thousands of women would have been sold into sex slavery to help finance IS. What strikes me about this conflict. Because of how little coverage it gets, we get to see it in a much more raw form than normal. And as an American, it's like cold water seeing a conflict from a neutral perspective. The casual brutality is insane. When we see American soldiers. We see brave mean in uniform as superheros, but watching this, these guys sound like they're talking about going to work at the office, it's so casual how this war is being fought, in spite of the high casualties by modern conflict standards, this seems so unreal. I've seen sports games where the fans showed more anger and frustration and raw violence than this. Not to talk down on their bravery, these people are courageous beyond measure, but seeing a war from this perspective makes you realize just how ludicrous the whole exercise is. The fact that this is happening seems ridiculous. And I think that sheds light on how much of the world has viewed the US in the past 75 years
It really humanizes things. Only other time we see it really is in WW1/2 movies with kids drafted, like a Saving Private Ryan, just guys who had normal lives that would rather go home.
Ridiculous, dear leader Joe biden is playing both sides of this board, that way his Warhawks can financially gain from both sides( one side being Russian oil and the other armament for Ukraine)
Why aren't the UN doing more or bigger powers telling Russia pull out or we allow Ukraine our support. I'm not anti Russia but it seems clear there's only one intruder here. Russia is not the old USSR, it can't dictate and project its power eastwards anymore if people there don't want it.
Hearing their soldiers talk about how they want to defend their country gives me chills. I hope ultimately they do it’s crazy you don’t hear anything about this.

Prophecy tells that America and Germany will devastate Russia. However, America will become "insignificant to the rest of the world", "severely weakened". The third world war will be soon and it will the be shortest and bloodiest. Before this happens there will be civil wars in Europe.
@@RyanBrown-hp3sc Not with the current American president. It is weak and bland. Neither Russia nor China consider him. The former they respected and feared more. Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia are afraid because in the event of problems they will be cut off by the Kaliningrad Oblast, which is practically a Russian military base, and Belarus. As for Western Europe, it can also be fun. It is unknown how many illegal immigrants from Muslim countries entered the country. Nobody really knows how many there are. There will be a massacre across Europe of Christians and conservatives in a single evening. Anti white racism. A resurgence in white pride both good and bad. A resurgence in conservative thought in the northern hemisphere of the world followed by a backlash against the establishment in the northern hemisphere of the world. The third world war will be sparked off by a man from Turkey who will aggravate Russia to the point of breaking. They will run through Turkey in a single day and then run across Europe.

Our country has become involved in many wars, almost always with allies who wouldn't fight for their own country. The Ukrainian people want to defend their country and don't want US troops. They want and need political support and better weapons. We have a chance to be on the good guy's side. Ukraine is a new democracy who isn't perfect but like our country, trying to be.
Ukraine has had it bad for the last hundred years - from the Holodomar to the Great Patriotic War, Chernobyl and now this - I hope they hold out and get the break they deserve.
Ukraine was the most flourishing republic of the USSR, with an economy roughly equal to France or Germany, with a huge scientific potential and a European population. The population increased and was equal to 52 million. Ukraine had a developed rocketry, built aircraft carriers and the world's largest aircraft. Now Ukraine has 30 million population, has completely lost high technologies of space, shipbuilding, instrument making, aircraft construction. The people are fleeing the country. The initially incorrectly chosen path of building a nation state led to this collapse. And as the final of the armed coup in 2014, and the collapse of the country, Crimea went to Russia, and a civil war began in Donbass.
@@dongately2817 Nuclear weapons are not gold, they cannot lie forever. Nuclear weapons must be replaced every 20 years. Ukraine did not have the technology for the production of nuclear weapons. Ukraine did not even have launch codes and command lines, everything was in Moscow. In principle, Ukraine could seize missiles to understand and rewrite the launch programs to build command centers and communication lines, it took ten years and a lot of money, And for another ten years Ukraine would have had nuclear weapons, until about 2010. But Ukraine did not have money and did not have the strength to argue with the United States, which demanded that Ukraine remove nuclear weapons.
AHAHAH It is not Russia WIKI: Donetsk People's Republic is an unrecognized state entity in Eastern Europe. Along with the LPR, it is one of the unrecognized polities in the territory of Donbass.
The difference here between Ukraine and places like South Vietnam or Afghanistan is that Ukraine is an established society and country. A unified people standing against an outside aggressor. They're not going to back down. The supplies that we give to them will not go wasted. They have the men and the morale, they just need the guns.

Since 2014, I have studied this war. But on the same hand I haven't, I haven't gone to the Ukraine to see the fighting. To see the destruction. If I knew how who and where to go, I would sign up in a heartbeat to help our friends, our allies, hell even family in this war that has raged on through my 20s. One of the crazy thing about conflicts like these is how they show real life situations that we don’t think about in a modern war. For example, the use of on the ground telecommunication lines.

I've seen sports games where the fans showed more anger and frustration and raw violence than this. Not to talk down on their bravery, these people are courageous beyond measure, but seeing a war from this perspective makes you realize just how ludicrous the whole exercise is. @@Max_Da_G Im blessed to be in the USA
@@Max_Da_G bunch of bullshit spotted. they're more akin to the imperialist forces that were armed, supplied and commanded by British Empire. got their asses kicked and fucked off, same will happen here.
It's March 3, 2022 @ 21:10 where I am and I can only imagine what these guys are going through now and how many if any of them are still alive.
So heart breaking 💔

From a country who had a call to Arms 80 plus years ago from former allies,, peoples great grandparents fought for freedom in ww2 to be turned on and possibly be invaded,, from Russia what is the end game,, strength and honour to the Ukraine to defend their country,, from Northern Ireland ☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️
It is upsetting how unreported this conflict is, when this is such an important issue to the world. It is surely in the wests best interests to end this war
Then 2 days later Brandon sits down with Putin to discuss ending the conflict lmaooo to bad nobody takes Brandon serious like they did trump so Russia will probably invade , ally with China, then they'll begin offering loans and trading with the United States Allies to the point no one will intervene once Russia and China decide to invade the United states
@@NB-ir1me ok, answer me, WHY Russia need to invade Ukraine? What it give to Russia? lots of partizans, waste of lots soldiers lifes, waste lots of money to ukraine territory reconstruction, what profit in it?
I wouldn’t say “WW1 technology” when referring to the land-line com wire haha. Still using that to some extent in the USMC in 2000. Great documentary. Wish those Ukrainians the best of luck!

great journalism.
Thank you for shining a light on this! It is very important people understand the situation and do not forget that this horror continues
"if you take weapon to your hands, your the target"
"Those who live by the sword shall die from it as well."

And only a sharp sword can cut out the heart .
It's a 2-way street!
This channel deserves many more subs. Great work.
why they dont also report on separatist side ?
@@louisecorchevolle9241 Yea that’d be cool too. Not sure if it’s feasible or if they other side would allow it. It’s it like you can just waltz in there and state that you’re gonna be hanging around the soldiers and interviewing them.
This is real reporting/ journalism. Good job for going behind enemy lines to let us know what's really going on. Great reporting man. We need more reporters/ journalist like you that tell the truth. I commend you sir for letting the world know ow what's really up. Thanks
Wow! What patriots these Ukranian soldiers are. I remember when the Russian military began their invasion. There were brave Ukranian citizens and soldiers dying in the streets, defending their land.
LOL! Got a date by any chance?
80% from ukraine people want to belong to russia, THE EU makes everything 10x more expensive now........
Stay strong 💪 Ukraine 🇺🇦 and keep resisting. From a friend in the United States of America 🇺🇸
YOu got no clue about what's this conflict is about, and you already display support to them. Where is info, interview from opposite side? THe people which Ukraine has been shelling homes of? The families that lost their children and family members from Urkaine's artillery shelling towns and cities in DOnetsk and LUghansk? Are you aware of that, no?
@@digimaks simple leave there land what the hell do you expect
I'm in America but have always liked your country and have always felt a strong feeling of love for the Ukrainian people.
I pray for peace and blessings to be sent you from God. I will never understand the heart of man. No one can.
🇺🇦🤝🇺🇸🙏
And this why I hate the news in the UK. They only report what they want you to hear. Nothing about Ukraine till recently, barely anyone will know this conflict is still ongoing.
I hope to all Ukrainians that this ends soon and you can live in peace. 🙏
Nope ukranians are neo-na•zi•s unless you support the n•az•is
Since 2014, I have studied this war. But on the same hand I haven't, I haven't gone to the Ukraine to see the fighting. To see the destruction. I see a small version of America, just trying to be free. Being attacked by those who don't care, being killed just for wanting the idea of freedom. If I knew how who and where to go, I would sign up in a heartbeat to help our friends, our allies, hell even family in this war that has raged on through my 20s. Not because of glory, not because Ukraine and I have any ties. It's the principle of freedom. And your right I say this through a touch screen on my phone. If I got to go, I would be scared. There is no getting around that. But watching my country fall has angered me to the point I would fight for the principles that founded my homeland.
now imagine, small Ukraine with army about 250 k men, and Russia with army about 2 kk men, are you sure Russia fight with Ukraine?
@@tsugumorihoney2288 russian army is way too overrated
@@Ultramegapooper and still they tell that 175k russians will be enough to invade ukraine... Who tell it is overrated? many changed since 2014 and even 2008. The joke that russia do not need ukraine territory because there nothing but waste of money
@@TechnoShaman69 Man, Russia take back Crimea, and didn't care much about it, so why it should fear to invade Ukraine, but it don't need, my friend which gooes as mercenary to Eastern Ukraine told that there no official Russian army, only volunteers, and Russia only sells vehicles to there, help from Russian border with artillery support, but it is not invasion) also if it is crime, why no one punish Israel for attacking Syrian's objects by their aircrafts? Also what Russia need in Ukraine? Spend there couple billions dollars to rebuild? Also Russia do not need to invade, according to some experts, all what Russia need is to use tactical weapon to destroy infrastructure nothing else. About so called "russian soldiers" according to words of this "soldiers" they were just bunch of random russian guys wwhich were visiting Ukraine and were captured buy SBU, also maybe if you noticed they all were in civil clothes, where is their military clothes? big question, but you can continue to listen your propaganda, i have some friends from Ukraine which saw some shit, and according to their word truth is closer to russian version
You do realize one of ukraines exports is steel and silica along with other precious metals and materials used in computers and most electronics. Also if what your saying is true, why have they found fsb/kgb equipment along with posts made by Russian soldiers who took photos while in action at the Donbass airport? Please do tell why we can't say russia is attacking the Ukraine via proxy war? Just like in Syria. Look at the pkk on the Turkish border, and the kurds which was sponsored by the USA to fight AL qaueda and isis? The wars that happen are now proxy wars, it makes countries that have stakes in these war zones look like saints
God keep your hand above them. My father is fighting there. I hope he makes it out. I know he is a changed man and I have lost the father I know but please keep him alive.
Thank you for this sobering expose. I am much more aware now and will pray for the Ukrainian people and their brave military. Pray for peace, prepare for war. I fear its coming.
