Thank you so much❣️ I have quite a few flip throughs on my channel so be sure to check out my playlists. 😉 Are there any particular ones you’ve been interested in seeing?
Thank you for this video! How necessary are the experiments? My son has picked this for science next year (7th grade) because of the amount of reading. He LOVES to read but really dislikes any hands on activities. He will literally learn everything from just reading. Can this be done without doing the experiments?
Thank you and very helpful, What do you recommend or a 6th grader that is learning chemistry currently and a 7th grader that just finished chemistry and is onto learning energy now, when it comes to Apologia Science? I'm going to be homeschooling my children soon and I'm looking into everything.
Hi Evelyn. The books that Apologia has for middle school aged kiddos are, General Science and Physical Science. You may want to take a look at their curriculums to see what exactly your kiddos have learned already. They have other options but they are recommended for high schoolers or elementary. I’m sorry I can’t be more help. Have a blessed Sunday.
I love your videos, full of so many tips, knowledge and positive energy for homeschooling moms. We are going to start using Apologia Science for the first time, my daughter is in 7th grade and my son in 4th. We want to do science together this year, with some independent work for my daughter. I have doubts whether to start this first year with Physics and Chemistry (K-6) to make a soft star and better basis for both, or with General Science. Maybe to hard, especially for my 4° grader. I appreciate very much all your advice, since you know the curriculum very well. I want to make the most of this wonderful material and my best for both of my kids. Thank you!!!!
Hi Jeanette! Thank you for your kind words.💖 With Apologia I would suggest using the Physics and Chemistry k-6 if you are planning on using it with both your 4th and 7th grader. The General science has advanced math within the lessons and it would be a little too much for your 4th grader. This is only my opinion. You know your kiddo best so definitely do more research if you are still unsure. I hope this helps. Have a beautiful rest of your week.
I actually bought the Full Science kit from Rainbowresource.com I’m pretty sure you can gather the supplies on your own, but some of the items are random. I opted for the kit so I wouldn’t have to worry about getting the supplies together each week. I have found that I’m not to good at that. 🙄lol
I have been thinking about apologia for my two girls that will be going into 1st and 3rd for next year , but not sure how I will fit that in with abeka
Hi Stephanie. I will be doing a plan with me video soon. I’m working on a homeschool room makeover series this week, but the planner and planning will be done next week. So make sure your notification bell is on. That way when I upload you will get a notification. 😉 it should be uploaded within the next couple weeks.
This is such a great overview of this product! Would you say that I could using this for my rising 8th grader? We have never used this program before, so I wonder if we should start with general science.
Hi there :) I am a new homeschooling mom. I am doing the parent lead first grade Abeka program and I feel so nervous about not doing it correctly or even just failing..... any advice you may have on being a new homeschooling parent and having a productive day..... how to not lose your mind..... would be awesome. lol

Yes! We did enjoy it.

You’re welcome! It’s worked really well for us.
Great science curriculum! Thanks for sharing!
Do you watch the videos for each lesson?
We actually haven’t watched any of the videos. We just have been working out of the book, the notebook journal, and we’ve been doing the experiments.
@@simplyhomeschool18 did you buy the lab kit or can you put together?

Thank you! I think it just depends on what you’ve worked through for 6th and 7th. We used this for 7th and we will be using physical science for 8th.
@@simplyhomeschool18 thank you. You gave me an idea, I’ll look through the table of contents and see if we can move onto physical science:)

Thank you for this review!! It was super helpful! Is there an answer key for the labs, I just want to make sure we do them correctly. :)
Thank you for posting this - I've been having a hard time finding samples and flip through about this curriculum till I found this video :D
You’re welcome Ewa. I’m so happy it was helpful.
So useful! Thanks! I’d love to see a similar video for the apología biology course.
I’m sorry we aren’t working through the High School curriculum yet. I will have a video on Physical Science sometime this summer.
@@simplyhomeschool18 I can’t wait to see that! Thank you!
Looks like a great science curriculum
Thanks Linda. We shall see how it goes. 😬
