OMGosh I loved this video so much. Thank You Danielle. You are an angel to help all of us who have never attempted to do this. Hugs.
Thank you so much. You're my go to for cross stitch tutorials. I always leave your videos with confidence that I can tackle something new and challenging.
This was the best tutorial on beading I have seen. Lots of helpful tips including how you secure a row of beads.
Thank you so much for the trick on attaching Treasures! Mine are loose, nothing framed yet and now I'm glad as I can go back and fix them! Thanks again for making your videos I have learned a lot and I've been stitching since 1967! Wow!!
Great tutorial. I have been stitching, beading for over 30 years and have never seen anyone use a bead with a treasure. Makes sense to me. Thank you. Denise
Great video, love the tip of running the thread back through all of them if they are loose. Also attaching the treasures, i never used a bead before but it looks so much better, i have used invisible thread through and over the treasure and you can see it if you look closely. Next time i am attaching a treasure i will be sure to do this!!! Thanks xx
What amazing tutorials. I found your site quite by accident and I'm so glad I did. I am working on a Christmas cross stitch pattern that uses a lot of Glass Treasures which I have zero experience with and was very apprehensive about trying. After viewing this video I think I can do it. Thank you so much.
Great video, very helpful. I have done some beading, and just kind of flounder around, not quite knowing if what I'm doing is right. Your tips about the Nymo thread and the sticky mats are very useful. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Thank you so much for the very informative tutorial!!! Thanks for the detailed info on all the tools needed to bead and your demo on how to stitch them was so very, very helpful to me. I have a Mirabelia that I want to do and I now feel after watching your video that I will be able to do this. Thank you again for another great video keep them coming!!
This was so helpful. I have never beaded and am so anxious to begin!
Great tutorial! I don't have access to seeing beads in person so seeing the different sizes was awesome! Thanks, Danielle!!
Thanks so much for doing this tutorial. I really learned a few things. I've not beaded that much so I was very interested in watching this & especially with the nymo thread, which I've never used. It looks like it's easy to work with
Thanks Danielle you are so helpful and full of knowledge. Thanks for everything.
I really like to watch Flosstube while stitching. Can't when your on. I just have to watch your instructions. I learned so much. Thanks.
Thank you! Feel way more confident now to stitch with beads. 💚
Thank you for showing us this. This will be my first time cross-stitching with beads. I really liked the tip of using beads instead of french knots. I hate doing french knots! Can't wait to begin my new project!
Terrific tutorial! Will be beading for the first time, soon. Love your video's, Stitcherista. Thank you for sharing! 💜💜
Your tutorials are great. I have neaver beaded before and I love learning how to do It neat and straight. Thank you so much.
I know a lot of people just glue on treasures, but I like your way better! I’ll use a bead from now on! Thank you...this was a very helpful tutorial. I’m an experienced, but for a large part self taught stitcher!
Thank you, thank you, thank you for this tutorial! I've never done beading and I have two projects kitted up with beads but afraid to start them! I feel I understand what to do now! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for taking the time to show us how to bead. You are enjoyable to watch . You make me laugh so hard that i can't wait for your next video. You are wonderful
Thanks and so helpful. I haven't done any beads yet so this is good to know. I want to make some Christmas ornaments and use beads. Thanks so much!! Glad to know how to do the treasures too.
Thanks so much Danielle...this helped me immensely.
Thank you!!! I am attaching my first bead project and this has been very helpful 😁😁😁
Fantastic video. So appreciate your taking time to share your knowledge. I learned a ton.
Thank you so much for this video. I have to do a little beading on an ornament and I've been putting it off. Now I feel like I can do it.
Thanks for the tutorial very nice. I am a lone stitcher so it's nice to see others techniques
Thanks for the beading tutorial. Never knew about the treasure beads and how to attach. Never tried nemo thread, but I will try it.
Thanks for the beading tutorial I enjoyed watching. Keep the videos coming!
Thank you I think you do a great job! This tutorial was so helpful You hit a lot of areas and learning to bead sometimes I was at the point it was a government top secret soooo you did a great job!!!!
Thank you. Very helpful. Love those nails, too.
Thank you for this tutorial! I will be doing my 1st beaded project soon & your tips will come in handy!😁
Sharon
Great tutorial ! Really clear, very helpful . keep them coming Thanks !
Thanks for this video. Will be starting some ornaments soon and they have beads. This was very helpful. I need to buy more beads then came with the pattern and no size was given. I now know what size to get.
Thank you very much for the tutorial. Learned something new today, didn't know that you needed a bead to attach a treasure. :)
Thank you for the tutorial. I been thinking of doing Petal Fairy or Sweet Pea. I have never done a one. But since watching you I have wanted to try.
Thank you wonderful demonstration.
Thank you so much for the very informative tutorial. I am about to start my first Nora mermaid and this was invaluable info!
Great tutorial as usual! Keep them coming.
Fantastic tutorial! I really enjoyed it!
Loving these tutorials! Im a wannabe stitcher who has been butchering my projects past 3 years 😒😩 I am a very slow learner but I'm determined!
I know this video is dated but if you see this which Mirabellia/corner would be the easiest to start with.
Thank you!! Great tips and tools and I needed that!
This was a great lesson on beading thank you!
Great tip on tightening beads! Thank you!
I really needed this tutorial, thanks Danielle xx 🦊🍄🦊🍄🦊🍄🦊🍄
great video, and OMG #95 vid, you go girl. nearly at 100. woop woop
Thanks for the tip on the bugle bead :)
Thank you! This video was very helpful.
omg, i NEED that bead buddy! ty for the link :)
Thank you for this video. I don't use Nymo for beading, it stretches. I use 1 strand of DMC in the colour of the fabric, and I do 2 half crosses. I used Mill Hill beads, just to get the correct colour, but I don't like them as the shape is so inconsistent. Do they actually make their beads, or do they buy in the cheapest beads available? I usually have to discard some.
Great tutorial, thank you for taking the time to make it for us :-) ~ hugs Jane
Many thanks.
Excellent video today very helpful Danielle thank you.
I love your nails. So beautiful
Yes!! Love this tutorial!
I've been too scared to try any beads, but want a little mill hill to try it out!
thanks for the tutorial and the informations about the sizes i can use the informations since we dont have millhill bead and i replace all the mh beads with miyuki beads ... can i ask what size those thread are ? and you use them with all colors ?
cute little stitch the nymo thread comes in one size, I think! And yes I have used it with all colors of beads. Because it is white and almost clear you cannot see it.
Stitcherista thanks for answering ... i asked because i found it with size D only
Adore the nails!
Delicas beads come in 2 sizes but you showed a size 8. A delica is is more like a tube with flat sides. Seed beads are more liked doughnuts with rounded sides, even though they have the same size
Thank you thank you thank you! This is great
Lol u said fire gems I think you mentioned fire mountain gems that's were I get all my delica beads . I make jewelry and I do bead embroidery and cross stitch for almost 20 years . Lol the beads sure can be a pain I'm forever spilling them
Thank you for easing my mind about beading. Gosh I had a major FEAR!!!!!! Oh yeah I don't have scroll rods...is beading still possible like with a q-snap??? I have size 9 beading needles...I guess these are standard. Do you tie off the back the same way you do with thread? HAPPY STITCHING TODAY AND EVERYDAY!!
Karen Davis-Macon most people will bead in hand at the end of doing a mirabilia or a large project if they don't have scroll rods. If you have a q snap and you have to move the clamps to get to another section, you risk crushing or breaking the beads with the clamps. And yes you can tie off the nymo thread just like you do DMC.
Thank you for a great tutorial as usual..Do you think you could bead with a q-snap as you go or would that ruin your beading, Love Liz
elizabeth thompson the only way to bead with a q snap is if your entire project fit. If you have to move the q snap around it will likely crush or break the beads.
Hi Danielle. I am really enjoying your videos these days! They are so much nicer and more informative than your old ones. Just wanted to ask you a question. When using a scroll frame for a project, do you have any issues with the beads when you have to roll up the scroll frame? I am scared the beads will get damaged or crushed or the fabric will damage. If yours is ok I will probably start beading as I go along also. I usually leave it all until last. Thank you in advance! :-)
Tracey Salt thanks! I have two more videos coming up at some point, one on overdyed threads and stitching with them, and then one showing the different types and counts of fabric out there. As for beads and rolling up the scroll rods, I have never had a problem with the beads being crushed or the fabric being marked. You could always put a piece of fabric or felt in between before you roll up a part that has beads on it.
Hello! Loved this video. Can you please tell me where you got the bead needleminder thing please? I couldn't find it anywhere!! Thanks!
Do you mean the square box with the lid? If so they are hard to find. It is called the Elizabeth Turner bead buddie. Or if you mean the round needleminder that will hold beads, that is from denkai designs on etsy.
@@Stitcherista I meant the square one from Elizabeth Turner. I actually did find one on Ebay for 8 dollars and bought it right up!!! So excited and thanks for the fast reply. I have now subscribed to you! This was a great tutorial! Thanks!
Thank you Danielle! I have never beaded before and I was intimidated by them, but your video has made me feel better. I am working on a pattern that I will eventually need to bead and I will watch this video again when I get there. I do have a quick question though. I only have q-snaps, is it possible to bead with a q-snap or do I need scroll rods? Thanks again! I love ALL your videos and look forward to them. 😀
If you have to move the fabric around to get to different areas the clamps may crush the beads. Usually people will bead at the end if they use q snaps.
Stitcherista perfect! Thank you
Do you know where else i could purchase the tacky bead box from because 123stitch says its unavailable?
Down sunshine lane may have it. If you go to their website you can look under accessories. Have you tried putting Tacky Bob needlework in google and see what comes up?
Watched this a while back but I was looking to see if you mention the name of the storage container you use for all your beads. I know you have mentioned it before and I believe you bought it from Amazon, just wondering if you can let me know the name of it? Thanks so much, and thank you for all your tutorial videos.
Cross Stitch Queen I just added the link in the description box! amzn.to/2Fy0LgM
Stitcherista thank you so much.
How did you know what hole to go into? Looks like you are skipping holes. You seem to just know where to go. Also why do you throw away the beads? Do they get sticky and stick to all the other beads if you put them back in with the others?
You just know where to put the needle after a while. It is a pain to get the extra beads off the sticky mat so that is why I just throw them away.
Which mirabellia Corbet would be the easiest to stitch for a beginner?
Any Nora Corbett pattern would be okay, as they are smaller than Mirabilias. But even Mirabilias are not difficult, just large projects. With any of them you just take them one stitch at a time.
Thank you Danielle!
How do I get started in floss tube with beads.
I am not sure what you mean. I have a beading tutorial on my channel.
How do you fasten off the beads when finished.
I will usually just try to run the needle under the threads on the back that I used to attach the beads.
@@Stitcherista ok thank you very much. Working on a project with beads and didn’t know what to do. Your video was most helpful.

@@Stitcherista💥 WOW 💥 Thank you very much!! There are so many cool things i want to buy🥰🥰🥰
👍🏻 🙋🏻♀️
I love your tutorials. Why do you throw away extra beads in your tacky bob?
I usually don't have a ton left over when I am done. And trying to scrape them back in the container is just a pain in the ass.
Stitcherista thank you so much for explaining it to me hugs
Thank you this tutorial was very informative.
Why do you trash the beads from your bead buddy. Why not just scrape them back into your bead container
Ann Pachini becasue it is not that many beads really. I have never run out of beads.
Stitcherista ok
