My daughter is moving to Oklahoma with me and my wife to help me start my restoration business...I've got to show her some of your videos...she really looking forward to getting started in the shop
I loved the mid 50s Fords ! I had 2 Victorias, a blue and white one and a black and white one What i really wanted and never had was a crown Victoria in Tropical Rose and white. I would still buy one if i ever came across one !
I loved my 56 fairlane, it had technological advances over the similar looking 55. It was the first year with a 12 volt electrical system using an alternator instead of a generator. A collapsable steering wheel and even a station seeking radio. The weakest part of the car was the susceptibility to salt corrosion. Rocker panels rusted out quickly in the northeast. It always had a look like it was on the move and easy on the eye.
Great car great video and finally some people with some brains keeping true to the Ford tradition keeping the motor intact not putting in some junk Chevrolet Bow-Tie Frenchman's dream motor pure garbage Chevrolet quick to blow and cheap as hell to rebuild thanks for keeping it all original
Love the 56 Fairlanes, the white makes the yellow look tan, should have went with a darker yellow maybe mopars yellow jacket that is on their challengers.
please tell me you are not going to leave those headlight shrouds one color!! great job. I have restored a 1955, 1956, 1957, and a 1958 Ford. All Fairlanes. My favorite car.
Fantastic to see ole fords get redone get tired of always someone redoing a chev over nothing i have against a chev .. but cool to see something different
Looks like a lot of work, admirable painting....but why not show the FINISH ! ! With the chrome attached, show the car from All ANGLES, let us see what it looked like when FINISHED !
I wonder about claiming a “true” restoration as that motor never looked like that in the Fairlanes, maybe it should be called a resto mod. And I have history with mt first car, a 56 ford Victoria, which was owned by 4 different members of my family from its first purchase.
Love those old mid-50's Fords. They're like large scale T-Birds with a back seat.
That car, with it's yellow and white paint, is going to look amazing on you!
Neat car I really like the yellow and white.😎

Do you know if all Fairlanes after 56 had 12 volt? I’ve got one out of 59, but I am not quite sure if it got 6 or 12 volt
Seeing it finished would be good...
please check out my newest video showing the Fairlane finished, it looks great!
I would never choose that color combination.
I recently posted a new video on my channel about this Fairlane finished. if you guys want to go check it out 👍

I have been around Hot Rods my whole life and love your video.. Oh by the way I just had to become your 661 Subscriber.
I am a Chevy guy but I believe that all of us love all older cars and trucks. I am talking about us older men who are car guys.

Exactly how I feel about boat anchor Chevrolets, cheap.

Looks like drew is a real OG
They just don't make 'em like this anymore...
No wonder the older generations (and some of the younger generation ) love cars.
Yeah, can't see somebody fawning over an Escalade 50 years from now.

"Restoration"? That's no "Y-block". It's a small block 289/302/351/?
Who needs any music….it detracts From your car restoration. 😢
