I just saw this video. All I can say is its beyond gorgeous and thank you, thank you for restoring this beauty. You sir did an excellent job and have a truly amazing car. My grandpa always had 55 Crown Victoria’s. Thanks for the video.
Are a member 54 - 56 crown association club out Bryan, Ohio headquarters ! !! Hard to find excellent shop in midwest that does restorations vehicles !!!
Totally gorgeous. They knew how to build cars back in the day. The Ford crown Victorias were also beautiful. The cars of today have no beauty or class.
ken, i am also 80 and still working on these cars. so much fun to still be able to loosen one of those nuts that have been there for over 60 years. good exercise... sure..
Beautiful job on this one ☝️. I owned a’55 Ford Custom with stick shift and I6. Plenty of power and solid black. The Chevies couldn’t hold a candle to the Fords in my humble opinion. Oh well 😔.
Also am wondering about the color. My folks had a 56 Mercury, persimmon and white, though yours looks a bit more red. My aunt and uncle had a 55 Fairlane red and white, beautiful car.
Too bad about that "music", the aftermarket carb and valve covers. Can't say that "continental kit" adds to the attractiveness of the body. Otherwise beautiful "restoration" with correct colors. You can still get rid of those valve covers and that carb. The stock covers feature a nice ford decal. I had an Edlebrock carb on mine and it was just a "volume control", the more you pushed the accelerator the louder it got but there was virtually no change in performance although the gas mileage became even worse than stock.
I have to say I believe the same when it comes to the engine. I also agree about the "continental kit", as I think it detracts from the lines of the car, even though it was factory stock. On a T-Bird, OK, but not on a full sized car. Overall, you have a drop dead gorgeous car. A show stopper, in fact. I'm envious. Take care of that car man, 'cause god knows there won't be any more like it. Keep it garaged and all the rest, as it's got "Best of Show" potential sometime in the future. Congratulations on an absolutely beautiful car.
When I was 18yrs. old the most worn out part on my '56 Ford was the back seat. Great restoration!
i am 77 and still love my first car 1955 ford fairlane victora loved that car great times

Oh how beautiful! Great job guys. Thanks for the look.
I couldn't have said it better.
Rephase that every nice car !!
What a beautiful car 😍
Gorgeous! Every bit as attractive as its Mercury Brethren. Perhaps even more so. Well done body off frame restoration.
That's a fine resto, Sonny.
So much better looking than the 56 Chevy --- This is a beauty.
Agreed 👍
Very, Very Impressive work! Beautiful machine, back when styling ruled and aerodynamics took second place. Beautiful.
Absolutely beautiful!
Nice car, the continental kit is not my favorite but as long as you like it that is all that matters
I had one just like that , same color and the Thunderbird 312 with a 4 barrel carburetor.
I,m 80 years young and still a car nut and worked on many of these brand new, what memoreys.

No they can not!
Beautiful! I would love to buy it but I don'nt have the money.
In '62, I had a '56 Crown Vic 4dr hardtop Black and white. Loved that car but the motor blew up so I traded it for a '59 Galaxie.
Bella viky👍📐🔧🔩
Nice car and great job! But I would never put a Continental kit on it. To much! Less is more
I love your Vicky.. I had a 55 2dr Post in High school.. Oh by the way I am your 125th subscriber
Beautiful job I love them, Victorious why didn't you go all the way back original just curious have a good day thank you for video
Is that a white over salmon? That lower colour is quite attractive. Nice job.

what is the dynamat for?
Exact replica of my first car purchased in 1963 for $550
Nice resto, but the headlight bezels are incorrect. They should be one color all the way around.
I don't think Ford used radials for tires back in '56.
firsts radials for american cars were introduced in the mid seventies.
that was a huge improvement over bias tires
Back then the tires were bias ply. I think my 68 Cougar XR7 in highschool had bias ply originally.

The headlight bezels are wrong.... smh.
You painted the front splash pan the wrong color, it's supposed to be Argent Silver.
I had one but no, it didn't look anyway near that good. ☹
Nice job. And just play some willie Nelson with this video for christ sake instead of an instrumental.
I have $10,000 right now down payment?
Don’t put a Chevy engine in you tight wads
