Dude, you're one of the best gear reviewers on youtube. You're very good at zeroing right in on the points that matter. Still think your FAST SF review is the best I've seen. Keep it up man!
Thanks for the kind words! Sometimes it is hard to tell if anyone cares about some posts; I get distracted multitasking, but do hope to keep up the gear videos.

CCM uses the lattice in their hockey helmets and it got me to switch as soon as I tried it on. It's the most comfortable helmet padding I have ever used, and I have tried almost all of them in your industry along with decades of hockey football and lacrosse. One thing CCM does, is they will scan you head and print you a custom lattice array. would love it if you guys would offer as well.

I had a HHV bump and while it was comfortable, I didn't care for it. The MLOK for helmets is not a great idea, the aftermarket doesn't support it very well and it's a PITA to set up compared to TW or ARC rail. Also, the rear harness not being a wind-up or other adjustable on the fly design sucks. I sold mine and debating on either TW or Ops Core.
$240 for a skateboard helmet? They're nuts. You can get a ballistic helmet, a decent set of pads, and a new suspension system for that price with other brands or noname brands.
Probably shouldn't trust a $240 ballistic helmet. $240 is reasonable for the typical cost of a bump helmet, given most of the cost is in the form of the pads, liner, rails, and shroud. The shell itself might as well be free for bump helmets.
Damn! Not to mention NVGs, but boy are those a far evolutionary cry from the shit steel pots I had to wear!! Having said that, I bet you can’t use them to shave in or make steel pot stew!
The fact that they started off selling chinesium knockoff armor products and are so successful today is proof positive that VetBro-ism and social media hype overcomes personal virtue for a lot of consumers.
To be fair to them, they were never selling chinesium. They bought all the materials from legit sources in the US and had them pressed in China. A lot different than selling Chinese knockoffs.

Thanks for doing this review as there aren’t many reviews on the recent HHV line of Helmets.
