The point is to show that the same motherboard brand and model has different costs across different platforms. More and more high end x570 motherboards are getting more expensive since EOL of AM4 platform.... so a creator who would want to enter the platform with a lower end CPU to upgrade later would be on this situation. :)

yes, Intel's decoders support more codecs and are faster. Not to mention it has 2 of them. Nvidia should have the best H.265 encoding efficiency tho, according to tests that i looked up (at lower bitrates it looks better).

However the prospect of being able to upgrade the cpu on the same motherboard, combined with the significant difference in energy use (both for bills and heat dissipation) is making me wonder about the 7700x knowing that an upgrade for zen 5 or zen 6 won't be a full platform upgrade. Why are you not using 6000 CL 30 Expo memory? Why are you using faster memory on the 13600? The 7600x has 40 percent less threads than 13600K. Also the Am5 can be had for less than intel spec for spec.

bro im a developer so im familiarized with this terms, but i feel a overwhelming confusion when trying to decide what should i buy. at the end of the day i guess people that sometimes not even understand this terms are watching this with 1 question on their mind (what is the best and cheapest cpu i can buy for what i do?), it can get very crazy very fast try to reach a conclusion just by watching your numbers, in an ideal world the model i5,i7,i9 and R5,R7,R9 would represent the actual performance so the non-tecnical people would concern just about the budget. maybe a better aproach to compare would be consider to create a video every 6 months ex: "Review best cpu's 2022" and do the compare + picking the the 3 best results, for gaming,3 best for creators, and 3 best for productivity listed by performance and showing the price so people would decide which on from the best would be in their budget.

I need to point out there are literally 51 different X570 motherboards on pcpartpicker that are cheaper than $250 right now. (In the US however I’m sure theres still plenty in other countries) You don’t need a fancy motherboard for these CPUs. I get you’re comparing the same models of boards but that 5600x comparison is incredibly unfair to be priced so high. Using these expensive boards doesn’t show the real world value for any of them imo if you’re on a tighter budget.
Same can be said for Z690 motherboards too. They are available below $200 too! For new pc builders intel is the way to go with Z690 platform and 12th gen and that will provide a sweet upgrade path too as 13th is showing a significant upgrade over 12th gen and 12th gen is powerful than ryzen 5000. AMD is not dead... Sure, It sucks that motherboard prices are not their promised price and DDR5 is pretty expensive, especially in comparison to DDR4. Yes, it loses in value, and I'm with you there, but it is most definitely not dead. I am going to be building my first P.C. this year, i have been wanting to and research to high hell for the past 4-6 years, I am likely going AMD for my next CPU (and even GPU for value) because of longevity of the platform and efficiency. Cost in electricity bills will be lower compared to intel, probably even saving money overtime. If I were to go intel, I would want 13th gen, but I either get a Z790 or bios update a 12th gen motherboard, that requires a supported CPU of the same socket. So, (at the moment) that dorsn not work out for me. AMD definitely still works out for people like us.
