You went the right way with building this car , in my opinion this car is priceless, it's one of the cleanest if not the cleanest 240 sx , it look so good on the inside as well as the outside , i really can't wait to see the rb 25 under the hood of that beautiful 240sx , thank you so much for sharing this amazing content and entertaining us with the beauty of your project
Thank you so much my friend, I really appreciate that! She's still got a long way to go, but seeing it move forward is refreshing to say the least. I can't wait to get started on the engine swap!
When it's done , I'm pretty sure it's going to be the best 240 ever , first of all because it's done with a clean taste and not riced out , almost every single s13 is a drift car nowadays , so it's a pleasure to see a clean one
This car really is going to be a little gem. She is already looking great. Can't wait until the new engine is in, body kit and spoiler fitted, as well as whatever else you have in mind. Really an inspirational series. Keep up the great work, Kyle!
This car is completely reborn, I'm really happy to see transformations like this! Also this 240 looks exactly how it should, I absolutely love the rims on it and the color, too. Congrats! I'm currently working on my 320i E36 Boston Grün convertible, it's a restomod as well, the E46's 30i engine will be fitted in it and then possibly supercharged, suspension is already rebuilt with a custom built rear diff fitted as well, while keeping it looking stock apart from the new BBS wheels I got. It doesn't even have the M-packet, didn't have it out of the factory and I prefer it without that. I planned it to be done by this summer, but the way things are, it's probably gonna be done by next summer... it did look and feel like a car in pristine condition when I bought it a year ago, and compared to the other ones for sale, I still think it was, but when I pulled the suspension apart, and then when we looked into the engine... well, 21 years don't pass without a toll. At first I planned I would keep the stock engine and maybe tune it one way or another, but the M54B30 swap became a sure plan from a "maybe one day" when we pulled the engine apart. Still, the dedication is there. Engine swap + fitting a 6-speed manual, and we're pretty much done with the stuff other than cosmetics, easier said than done though. Before I started this project I looked at project car builds and was like 'noobs, picked up a bad car so sure it takes longer than expected', but now I see it just can't be done on time, always new things to replace and improve on the way.
I poured a can of Seafoam in the gas tank, cleaned the throttle body with a rag and CRC throttle body cleaner, and spayed the Seafoam aerosol can in front of the throttle plate. I could tell it made a difference. I've put almost 100,000 miles on my PT Cruiser and I've never had a check engine light come on since I've owned it. That's part of the reason I hardly ever do fuel system cleanings. I might check that STP stuff out though.
Yeah man, for sure haha. I wanted to make sure the car was handling well and all of the worn out mess was out before power was applied. Seemed like the "safest" thing to do XD
I almost freaked out when he grabbed the green handle to put gas in. Green means Geisel here in my hometown. I forgot different states swap the colors for diesel and unleaded fuel.
Hi mate, just want to say great job and I've really enjoyed your videos lately. The quality is amazing. I'm not referring to picture quality (with today's equipment any mainstream individual can shoot a decent clip without breaking the bank). The content quality and presentation of it is absolutely top class. I'm talking Chris Fix level, and we KNOW that's a high benchmark. In fact, it almost feels like you've taken a page out of his book and blended it with your own style.
Incredible work, Kyle. I am so jealous of your car, it looks amazing top to bottom and I know it's only half done still. Always looking forward to updates.
I hate I haven’t seen this driving around yet in the Davie area! Hopefully it will be ready soon and I’ll see you sometime again soon, Kyle! It looks like a dream!
I really love this 240sx, i can't wait for that RB engine swap, keep the good work man and thanks for sharing this with us, i'm sure a lot of us here can feel your excitement with this car!
Now it's finally time for the engine swap! ... well, eventually, but I can't wait to see that coming! Great job so far, Kyle, I'm sure all the work was well worth the huge smile you had test driving it!
Glad you like it kyle! You're building an amazing car. I actually just had mine aligned last week after coilovers and adjustable arms, with the rb25 under the hood it's an absolute beast of a car, as for that feeling I see on your face in this video, it's gonna happen all over again after the swap.
Thank you Austin!! Best of luck with your car too! Hopefully I can start that engine swap this summer, that's the plan. Gotta finish getting the new garage ready and at least enjoy driving the car like it is for a while haha.
Nice car brother, I have been following your videos since a few months because I can understand the love thai you have to the cars, I have a VW Golf GL 1992. Greetings since Tula, México
I can't ever see myself selling it, it's my first real "build" and I've always wanted to learn how to work on cars. This whole project is very special to me.
Saabkyle04 very well put. I still wish I kept my first car. 79 LeSabre sport coupe. That car taught me how to tune a carburetor, (quadrajet no less) adjust ignition timing, n basically get something back on the road. I traded it off for an 88 celebrity Eurosport 5 speed. It was a nice/kinda rare car, but it wasn't my Buick
After a long period of working on this car, we FINALLY get to see this amazing piece of work drive on the roads! This was a great series and I enjoyed it! You put much work into this car and I admire your determination! This was so amazing to see! Phenomenal work Kyle! I and many others are proud of your hard work!
Thank you Mr. Horse ;) It really means a lot to see all of this support! It gets me so amped with moving forward on this car. At the end of the day, it's all about stepping out of that comfort zone and doing something unique. Have a great day my friend!
Maybe it took 4 months but Kyle did it the way he does his videos, with attention to detail and a bit of OCD plus some good old perfectionism ;-) Anyway, the result looks awesome!
Man Kyle I'm so happy that you have got this nice car on the road this car looks like a beast I'm a 16 year old and I've watched you're stuff since 2014 I've probably watched almost every single video and I enjoy them and this car is like so cool to see and pretty good for a rebuilt car
love the detail you put into this build. most people just buy a shitbox old 240 and stick a RB or 2j in it, and don't even bother fixing all the old gremlins that you get with such an old car with worn out parts.
Congrats Kyle. I'm sure all the headache and tie it took was worth it. I look forward to more videos in this series, especially when it come s to putting in the new engine and turbo. This thing should be like a rocket!!!!!!! lol.
A SaabKyle built resto mod car will go for some good money once you do finally decide to sell it. Have fun with it now though. It's been quite a journey.
Looks good, now for one final detail.....for a cleaner look black out the muffler with high heat black paint the SS tip will show up nicely. Also a cool chrome type license plate frame would be another cool touch.
Yeah man, that exhaust is temporary. The original one fell off on the I-95 haha, check out my engine unveil video and you'll see it. I had a trip planned at Borla soon after and they mocked up something quick to at least give it some sort of exhaust in the meantime. The tip is off of a mustang haha. It's not pretty but it works for now. I'll have a proper exhaust, with hopefully a dual tip like the original to finish it off once the engine is in.
Love it Kyle. Great work mate. And love the sound of it. Such a clean example you have there....it's got me scouring through the classifieds this evening ;)
Now it only needs better paint, and a style matching spoiler. This car would look stupid with a carbon spoiler, but a bootlip or a Type-X Spoiler would make it soooooo beautifully simple, 90s-ish and original
Did you record any of the garage build process?! Would be nice to see the process and your thoughts behind the design process and the progress as you go on your restomod adventures
I know you sometimes find it hard to believe that this car is the same year that you were born, haha! I'm glad all your time spent in everything is paying off and you can continue to enjoy driving it!
No, that won't be for quite a while. There's some content still to do in the meantime, but the next major thing will the engine. Cosmetics will be toward the "end"
An idea with the rear drive axles, with no cotter pin you could do like (I'm not 100% sure its the right company) the Subaru's do. They have a slit in the drive axles by the axle nut so you can stake said axle nut so it doesnt loosen. Just a thought if you have an grinder laying about
The best road near you (assuming you still live in North Carolina) is the Tail of The Dragon. It is located on US 129 on the North Carolina-Tennessee border. I highly reccomend it.
Still one ad for STP, but I hope to do more of this type of thing over time instead of peppering in youtube ads everywhere. Really improves the viewing experience.
Hey Saab? Out of curiosity have you ever thought about repainting the car the same color or changing the color? Regardless of that this 240 is absolutely beautiful and handled with so much care and I can really tell you put Love and Passion into this Car, well done 👌🏼 and even more to come
I'll be your more attached to the 240 than the viper haha. How i wish you could work on a 96 impala so I could learn as well. Great job I enjoyed watching.
I sold the viper last fall. It was an epic ride, but I'd rather have a garage full of old cars to tinker with haha. That would be a dream to own a black '96 SS, but they're almost priced out of reach for the normal person now, in good condition that is. Thanks!!
I had the pleasure of riding in Kalvin's a while back, he's got a reaction video on his channel :) That guy is mega talented!
Thank you so much my friend, I really appreciate that! She's still got a long way to go, but seeing it move forward is refreshing to say the least. I can't wait to get started on the engine swap!
definately not the cleanest there are 240s out there with less than 10k miles
Its not even done yet.
When it's done , I'm pretty sure it's going to be the best 240 ever , first of all because it's done with a clean taste and not riced out , almost every single s13 is a drift car nowadays , so it's a pleasure to see a clean one
Hey man. Try lowering the foot for the trailer to help tilt it up so it's less of an incline! Usually does the trick.
I appreciate that Kalvin, thank you!!
Or getting 2 longer metal boards
13:12 man! Top left corner 👌👍 My man KALVIN!!
I love it when youtubers include videos of them driving their cars. I like watching the builds, but seeing the car on the road is awesome.
It's even better in person! It's a shame I can't bring some of you all along for the ride!
This is so far my favorite 240 build any one has ever done. Such a beautifully clean build
Thank you sooooo much, it's only going to get better!
i love tht interior, especially the steering wheel , where can i get one like that for the 200SX i don't have? and such seats?
I totally agree. It’s very tasteful with a focus on performance and practicality.
Thanks for letting us mod cars vicariously through you. Congrats on all your progress and looking forward to what's next.
Thank you so much for the support and for watching, have a great day!
Seriously Kyle the quality, production, and attention to detail in your videos is incredible, and these 240SX videos are awesome. Great work!
Thank you so much!!
This car really is going to be a little gem. She is already looking great. Can't wait until the new engine is in, body kit and spoiler fitted, as well as whatever else you have in mind.
Really an inspirational series. Keep up the great work, Kyle!
Thank you so much Phil, I really appreciate that!
It was really cool seeing the 240 drive with it’s new suspension.
That interior looks brand spankin new! Looks like it rides like a dream! Amazing work Kyle, go enjoy the fruits of your labor!
Thanks bud!!
Who would dislike this video?
Very Professionally done
Thank you Jeffery, that means a lot!
Saabkyle04 your videos are always enjoyable
I really wish more people would treat their 240sx’s the way you do Kyle.
It's alive......It's Aliiiiive!
By far my favourite series on UA-cam! You are doing a superb job Kyle.
Thank you so much!
Happy for you after all that work
Thank you!!
This car is completely reborn, I'm really happy to see transformations like this! Also this 240 looks exactly how it should, I absolutely love the rims on it and the color, too. Congrats!

As good as new, thanks for sharing. Really enjoyed all your video . Cheers from Singapore.
Cheers my friend!
Thanks for sharing, Kyle! Amazing job with the 240. Truly, one of the nicest examples out there! Cheers from Toronto
Cheers Niran! Thanks a bunch!
Such a cool car and project. I love the attention to detail.
The car came out great. You did a really great job on it. Keep up with the great videos. Congratulations on a job well done!
Thank you Nick!!
That’s fact that’s it’s this good now without the RB or Type X kit.... just wow. Good job!
Thank you!!
I love how overkill the suspension is for the engine XD So glad you did the suspension first before the engine
This gives me hope about fixing my 300ZX! Thank you for pushing forward!
Push forward man, it'll be worth it!! Thank you!!
Now that is a 240 done right. That thing must ride like a dream! I hope to do this to my z32 one day!
You definitely should, better to take your time and do it right the first time, you won't regret it! It's like a new car!
Kyle you’re my inspiration
Car looks so damn good.
It's amazing what you did with this car plus your videos are top notch quality!
Thanks Martin!!
Hi mate, just want to say great job and I've really enjoyed your videos lately.

Love how the car sits ! I'm going for that stance as well in the near future. Low & functional
Incredible work, Kyle. I am so jealous of your car, it looks amazing top to bottom and I know it's only half done still. Always looking forward to updates.
Thanks Jacob!!
I hate I haven’t seen this driving around yet in the Davie area! Hopefully it will be ready soon and I’ll see you sometime again soon, Kyle! It looks like a dream!
Great job Kyle! it looks neat under the car and it must be a sweet drive. Can’t wait for your next mods, I’m loving this car project!
So glad to hear it, thank you!
Awesome set of videos, looks a fun project and the end result seems well worth the effort.
I appreciate that pal!
I really love this 240sx, i can't wait for that RB engine swap, keep the good work man and thanks for sharing this with us, i'm sure a lot of us here can feel your excitement with this car!
It's so hard to convey without showing in person! I hope to take it to some meets sometime. Thanks pal!!
I’m super happy for you and proud of you. You did a GREAT job buddy! 👊🏻👌🏻
Thank you soooo much!!!
Now it's finally time for the engine swap! ... well, eventually, but I can't wait to see that coming! Great job so far, Kyle, I'm sure all the work was well worth the huge smile you had test driving it!
Yessir, you know it!
Glad you like it kyle! You're building an amazing car. I actually just had mine aligned last week after coilovers and adjustable arms, with the rb25 under the hood it's an absolute beast of a car, as for that feeling I see on your face in this video, it's gonna happen all over again after the swap.

best video I've seen all year, you are a comic genius!
next video how to swap the rb25 turbo engine and first start =)
YAS! I can't wait for that day
Spectacular video as always!
The suspension rebuild was definitely worth it!
Good job! Keep it up!
Thanks buddy!!
Anytime, buddy! (^_^)
Nice car brother, I have been following your videos since a few months because I can understand the love thai you have to the cars, I have a VW Golf GL 1992. Greetings since Tula, México
The Nissan 240SX looks like a real drift car
I just love that Nissan/Hyundai/Kia xylophone chime.
Me too!
After this project is finished, are you going to keep it? I think it would make a good channel mascot.
I can't ever see myself selling it, it's my first real "build" and I've always wanted to learn how to work on cars. This whole project is very special to me.
Glad to hear! I'm sure it will be a very fun car that evolves as time goes on.
True
Saabkyle04 very well put. I still wish I kept my first car. 79 LeSabre sport coupe. Nice!! Glad everything worked out!! A great build series! Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks Robert!
Exactly how i want to build my car, suspension wise etc. Love the build
Thank you!
I noticed the LED bulbs you threw on around the car, nice subtle detail my friend👌👌
Yeaaaah man! I'll do a video talking about it when I install the type-x lights. Was just messing around off camera a while back, looks good!
After a long period of working on this car, we FINALLY get to see this amazing piece of work drive on the roads! This was a great series and I enjoyed it! :) You nailed it on the head there! Thank you!!
Man Kyle I'm so happy that you have got this nice car on the road this car looks like a beast I'm a 16 year old and I've watched you're stuff since 2014 I've probably watched almost every single video and I enjoy them and this car is like so cool to see and pretty good for a rebuilt car
Thank you soooo much Nick, that's awesome! I really appreciate the support!
Man that’s one clean 240🙌🏽
Thanks Jason!!
Great job Kyle!
SUPER CLEAN!!! 😎😎😎
Congratulations! I am very Happy to see your happiness. Good job
That car is so sick i love the work man..
Thanks Robert!
love the detail you put into this build. most people just buy a shitbox old 240 and stick a RB or 2j in it, and don't even bother fixing all the old gremlins that you get with such an old car with worn out parts.

Glad to hear that Kyle
By far your cas looks and sounds amazingly great! Really looking forward to see even more ;)
Thanks man! Wait till the RB is in XD
SaabKyle you're so AWESOME! KEEP GOING!
You got it!!
Really good work. Love the blue interior as well, mine had the same color and they look great when in decent shape.
They do! You don't see a whole lot of them. Only real downside is that it's hard to find blue interior parts. Thanks!
Really awesome build! I really enjoyed watching the vids and the whole progression of this beaut. Can't wait for more :)
Thanks for watching!!
A SaabKyle built resto mod car will go for some good money once you do finally decide to sell it. Have fun with it now though. It's been quite a journey.
Thank you my friend!
Nice job Kyle!
You always have great informative videos. Keep up the fantastic work!
Thanks!!
The "two froddy"(Southern Cali-speak) is on the road!
What a gorgeous car man, it would be a dream for me to own something like it some day!
Thank you Alex!! :)
Very interesting video! I like how you do everything in perfection. Greets from Europe
Thanks so much for watching!!
Car sounded too loud. Add a resonator and stock silencer🚗
Love it Kyle. Great work mate. And love the sound of it. Such a clean example you have there....it's got me scouring through the classifieds this evening ;)
Thank you so much!
Now it only needs better paint, and a style matching spoiler. This car would look stupid with a carbon spoiler, but a bootlip or a Type-X Spoiler would make it soooooo beautifully simple, 90s-ish and original
Life is pretty simple: I see 240 video, I click.
Thanks!!
Great! Must be a real great car to ride.
Did you record any of the garage build process?! Would be nice to see the process and your thoughts behind the design process and the progress as you go on your restomod adventures
Great video! I want to do a resto project.
Great job Kyle! All that hard work has finally paid off!
Yessir! Thank you!
Wow! A reply from the one and only Saabkyle04! Thank you!
@13:20 looks like your about to cry tears of joy!
A year ago, I had almost no idea how to work on cars, now I've put together a suspension, life is gooood!!
Saabkyle04 my friend Ron close is just fascinated with this car
Has to be the luckiest 240 ever. None of them see this kind of love..
put this on jay lenos garage when its done
I know you sometimes find it hard to believe that this car is the same year that you were born, haha! I'm glad all your time spent in everything is paying off and you can continue to enjoy driving it!
I know! So true haha, thanks pal!
Saabkyle04 Anytime man! I hope you're having a great summer and also hope the progress is going well on the new house!
just loved it keep up the great work man
Thanks Tom!
Will the next episode be about changing the tailights and Body kit ?
No, that won't be for quite a while. There's some content still to do in the meantime, but the next major thing will the engine. Cosmetics will be toward the "end"
Can't Wait To See The New Engine But Upset That The Body kit Is Toward The End
An idea with the rear drive axles, with no cotter pin you could do like (I'm not 100% sure its the right company) the Subaru's do. They have a slit in the drive axles by the axle nut so you can stake said axle nut so it doesnt loosen. Just a thought if you have an grinder laying about
The best road near you (assuming you still live in North Carolina) is the Tail of The Dragon. It is located on US 129 on the North Carolina-Tennessee border. I highly reccomend it.
Already been, and your right, incredible road! I went there after doing the big brake install.
Love the no ads!!!!
Still one ad for STP, but I hope to do more of this type of thing over time instead of peppering in youtube ads everywhere. Really improves the viewing experience.
This remind me of my eclipse project 😍🤓🤓 stay awesome kyle 🤗
This makes me want another 240 so bad!
It's a bittersweet relationship sometimes hahaha
Good work, man! Wonderful car😊👍
Thank you!!
I was a bit anxious when the mechanic took it out for a test drive!
He's a friend of mine, really knows his stuff, no worries on this end!
All good! Can't wait to see more!
First Drive With The New Suspension: 240SX Restomod Ep. 22 COOL
The car is looking so badass Kyle keep up the good work 👍🏻
Nice car man, timeless beauty
Thanks bro!
Hey Saab? Out of curiosity have you ever thought about repainting the car the same color or changing the color? Regardless of that this 240 is absolutely beautiful and handled with so much care and I can really tell you put Love and Passion into this Car, well done 👌🏼 and even more to come
Nice pipe Kyle!
I'm looking forward to seeing videos on the RB25
You and me both!
The rims look nice
Is it also getting repainted?
Yep, cosmetics will be done after the engine.
which color? the same as it is now? or a different one?
Great video man! The 240sx looks great good job and congrats on the build!!😎
Thanks!!
