    Holy crap that keyboard style is just what I am looking for. I also saw your Leobog Hi75 video and was going to get the Cherry profile with Graywood (not really a fan of the looks but the sound was too amazing prebuilt). How does it compare to this in terms of sound or overall keyboard feel? I don't care for rgb lights either. I'm not sure which one I should get, and it looks like this only comes with MDA.
    Also, you deserve way more views. Your reviews are not only straight to the point and easy to understand but really pretty!

      First off, thank you sooo much for your compliments! I really try to make my videos more visually appealing where I can. It also helps me with developing my photography/video skills! As for the Leobog Hi75, I prefer Cherry over MDA because Cherry is more comfortable for me to type on, since that's what I've typed on for most of my adult life. I think the MDA with Nimbus has a deeper thockier sound, whereas the cherry is brighter. Each is their own when it comes to preference. Also, the Leobog kit just works with anything. It's hands down one of the best stock kit on the market right now in terms of sound and feel.
      It looks like most of the cherry versions are sold out, unfortunately, but you can always supplement with a diff keycap set, since you were fond of that colorway. If you know what color scheme you like, I might have some ideas. Just lmk!

      @@keebtunes Thanks for replying! I think your skills are already top notch because your thumbnails are enough to make me click :D
      Now that I see it, my current keyboard has a Cherry profile so I might find settle for the MDA just to give it a try and see which I prefer. For colorway, I definitely prefer how the Cidoo Stellar looks (i've never seen a tv on a keyboard and it blew my mind im still a noob lol) in general as it gives off a nice retro vibe (burgundy and white looks great). Still unsure if I should get the MDA Leobog kit and try to get keycaps that I like or just go for the Cidoo Stellar at this time🤔.
      The only thing throwing me off with the Cidoo Stellar is the plastic keyboard and its durability as I am used to the aluminum feel. I might just get both and use my current keyboard (Epomaker Triple Modes) to test out how to actually mod a keyboard for the first time.

      Hey once again thank you for your compliments! I think the MDA profile is fairly comfortable to type on so adjustments won't take long, but you could also slap on a cherry set if you don't like it. If you live in the US, I can send you a set of cherries for you to try out! Just lmk
      As for the Cidoo, it's just a wonderfully good priced board!

    Great video!
    Just bought the barebone kit. I trust CIDOO because I had the ABM066 before but sold it.
    I will build this ABM081 for my wife and use a MAO profile keycaps with either a spring-swapped Gateron Cap V2 Golden switches or HMX Violet switches (from Rainy75), depending on her taste.

      Oo the violets from the rainy would be great! I really enjoyed those switches as well! I think I did it for the zoom65..she's a lucky woman!

    first of all i absolutely love the vibe in this video! Absolutely astounding.
    Just have a question - on amazon they sell the same keyboard but with two different switches. One is carda and the other is matte. Which one do you feel would be the thocciest/better overall? Both keyboards are the same price but when you buy the switches by themselves the matte switches are $2 more…

    • @keebtunes
      @keebtunes  4 місяці тому

      thank you so much for your kind compliments!!! This one here is the carda, and I've only had brief experiences with the matte, but they do sound relatively similar. I'd say that since the matte switches are tactiles, they are more forgiving when it comes to uneven lube jobs from the factory, and will usually feel somewhat better if you like to have some tactility when you type. Otherwise, I think they sound fairly similar!

    • @keebtunes
      @keebtunes  4 місяці тому

      thank you so much for your compliments!!!! I think I tried the matte switch awhile back and didn't know if I liked it or not, so I'm not sure, but the Carda does feel nice. It depends on whether you like tactile or linear, tbh, I think they're both about the same otherwise.

      Thank you so much bro!! I use premiere pro, and for the most part I don't color grade past converting my flog footage to rec.709 and applying the base eterna lut for fujifilm. I think this vid was my first attempt at being more intentional with ensuring that I get that retro feel 🥳

      @keebtunes for your voiceover 🫶... the shure mic is known for its bassy podcast voice like ... which can sometimes kill your beautiful natural voice. There's lots of tutorials in youtube for whichever DAW ur using to edit ur videos 🙏

      yea, it's held together by tabs around the edge of the units, so you'll need a slim prying tool and jig it open like that.
