Use B-roll all the time and add what b-roll I want to input when I write my color coded script (OCD much? Lol). Most times I use storyblocks but if i can't find what i need then I'll shoot it myself.

I'm experimenting with this to extend my watch time. I've only done it on one video, but the watch time on that video was 62.5% and I do believe it is because of the b-roll!

As a solo and new creator I use B-Roll more & more. The best tip I got from this video was just laying the camera down while shooting B-Roll. Super simple and will help speed up the workflow. Good Tips, Thanks!
Excellent job of breaking this down into small steps. Thankfully hubby has experience with his own channel so he is helping me with set up. We needed new editing software so I took the plunge and started learning Davinci Resolve. Loving it so far.

yes I use B-roll much better than people just looking at me. Great for when I do Travel Product reviews or if talking about a certain travel location or something of course I put in clips of that place. B-Roll is a must! I sometimes have an overhead camera (second camera) on while I am doing a product demo or open box segment to capture real time as I talk about it.
this is actually the best tutorial I've ever watched. Plain, simple, and straight to the point. The equipment used are also makes sense, not like those tutorials with "professional-grade" equipments. Thanks once again !

B-roll is great because it reduces cognitive load. The viewer can digest what was heard and enjoy some beautiful b-roll.
