Yeah, no doubt. That was absolutely amazing. And he got BOTH feet down. This is one of the most outstanding college catches ever. Outstanding hands and body control.
Not only did he jump and levitate like Michael Jordan, catch the ball with one hand, catch the ball with his body literally out of bounds, but still has the unbelievable ability to bring his feet back in bounds for a completion.
Funny how they also talked about his great speed, but once he got into the pros his "great"' speed was nullified by defensive backs with greater speed. He was a pure route and hands guy. Great stuff.
dont know if this true or not, obviously you could be making up shit but idk i just want to believe this story is true, not even a ohio state fan just a fan of your story.
I’ve never been a fan of the Suckeyes. The most arrogant and unreasonable fan base in all of sports. Woody Hayes was justified choking Charlie Baumann. They say. He was wrogly fired they say
Hey Berman! You guys should (if you haven't already) show this highlight of Cris on NFL Countdown. It was the bomb! "All he does is catch touchdown passes." LOL
Does anyone have more clips from this game....I went to this game when I was 8...good memories. I recall BYU getting a touchdown from a long ways out and OSU have a pic 6
Love this. I was actually looking for Chris Carter's old shoe commercial. "I catch with my feet." I thought it was Reebok... but could be wrong.... but I can't find it.
like Charles Woodson's one-handed interception 12 years later, both players seemed to jump impossibly high, use only one hand, and almost move backward inbounds while in the air somehow
The only player I ever saw that could catch like Cris Carter was John Jefferson. Not sure why Jefferson's career went down the crapper after such an amazing start.
Fantastic hands, just as good as Randy Moss', I'd say. Although Moss had better speed, height and could judge the trajectory of the ball better. Carter and Moss were a holy terror together with the Vikings ... good memories.
Hold on. CC had great speed? Lol! I'm a huge CC fan but he could barely outrun a defensive linemen. Still the greatest set of hands in nfl history though.
In the NFL that would be ruled an incomplete, by today'sstandards. They would make some bullshit subjective ruling about how he didn't have full possession as he landed... unless you're wearing a Patriots, steelers, or packers jersey
Odell is good but CC the buckeye invented the one hand grab when they were allowed to rock your bells hi and john Stallworth of the Steelers use to snag that ball QB didn't have to be good
Yeah, no doubt. That was absolutely amazing. And he got BOTH feet down. This is one of the most outstanding college catches ever. Outstanding hands and body control.
Without gloves
What an amazing catch and he wasn't wearing gloves. What a great receiver Carter was.
If only we'd had his services in '87.
He took the money from an agent, cost Ohio State a season because they were already thin at that position, and ultimately cost Earl Bruce his job.
Not only did he jump and levitate like Michael Jordan, catch the ball with one hand, catch the ball with his body literally out of bounds, but still has the unbelievable ability to bring his feet back in bounds for a completion.
With no GLOVES
Oughta show that grab on his network as a lead in .
Rather impressive.
Funny how they also talked about his great speed, but once he got into the pros his "great"' speed was nullified by defensive backs with greater speed. He was a pure route and hands guy. Great stuff.
Easily the most impressive catch I have ever seen
I met Jim Karsotos once and mentioned this play. He said he was just trying to throw it away!
Thom Chiki that is fucking crazy lol
dont know if this true or not, obviously you could be making up shit but idk i just want to believe this story is true, not even a ohio state fan just a fan of your story.
@@MikeHawkbaby It definitely was. It happened at the 2002 Super Bowl party at the Buckeye Hall of Fame on Olentangy River Road.
I’ve never been a fan of the Suckeyes. The most arrogant and unreasonable fan base in all of sports. Woody Hayes was justified choking Charlie Baumann. They say. He was wrogly fired they say
If Ohio State was playing German POW camp guards i would root for the guards
he got both feet in bounds even though he only needed one, unreal
Since when do you need both?
@Jonathan Rose
This is college. He only needed one foot down.
No gloves either
Karsatos said he meant to throw that ball away lol.
None of the BYU guys were flailing their arms in the "incomplete" motion....they are all honest Church goers....😎
That was amazing
The beginning of a legend
Got to be a top 5 all time catch in history of college football. I'd love to know how high his feet were off the ground ?
Jim Karsatos #16
Best trivia answer ever😎🔥
What number did Carter wear?CC#2
Ohio state back then always got the best WRs go bucks
The Hall of Famer.

Can this channel comeback. It’s low key great.

can this channel come back plz
Imagine if Carter was a Lion with Barry and a good Qb... omg
They had Herman moore
Imagine if Barry was with Vikings, with moss in 98...omg
Best hands ever
like Charles Woodson's one-handed interception 12 years later, both players seemed to jump impossibly high, use only one hand, and almost move backward inbounds while in the air somehow
Please dvmbass, never compare a Buckeye to one of those fruits up north.
@@fredsanford336 hold this L
“What a high…….maneuver “
That guy might be good some day.
No Gloves 🚫🧤
Greatest hands i ever saw
love me some CC!!!
jim karsatos said he was trying to just throw it out of bounds
Thats how much he sucked!
Cris Carter was/is the original!
Comeback I love your content.
You don’t happen to have a digital copy of the song that plays at the beginning of your videos?
Whoa. Did this guy have velcro on his hands or what?
In Canton now, indeed.
That was nasty.
Real hands. No gloves
Cris Cater had great speed......um no.... great hands, super football intelligence yes. Cris Carter couldn't out run a two legged turtle....
The only player I ever saw that could catch like Cris Carter was John Jefferson. Not sure why Jefferson's career went down the crapper after such an amazing start.
Holy shit awesome
Cris Carter has some of the biggest hands. That's why he was so good at catching footballs. It was almost like cheating.
He do good it like his hands are a magnet and the ball metal. It just stick where it supposed to
Wow lol vintage chris
Fantastic hands, just as good as Randy Moss', I'd say. Although Moss had better speed, height and could judge the trajectory of the ball better. Carter and Moss were a holy terror together with the Vikings ... good memories.
Just as good???!!!! JFC Are you 20?
Chris Carter had the best hands in the history of football little buddy.
I guess levitation is real then.
or UC, USC, TCU...what's your point
you know this is old when BYU is the the defending national champion i'm surprised they weren't wearing leather helmets
benny robinson 😂
They beat Michigan in their bowl game the year before to win the Natty.
As all of the mortals simply watched.......
wowwwwwwww
Hold on. CC had great speed? Lol! I'm a huge CC fan but he could barely outrun a defensive linemen. Still the greatest set of hands in nfl history though.
VpY22 Carter was slow as hell but could catch a ball that was heading for the stands with one hand and land perfectly in bounds.
Christopher Sardinha for sure. he didn't need speed. the man ran perfect routes and had amazing hands.
Beckham who?
No Gloves!!
In the NFL that would be ruled an incomplete, by today'sstandards. They would make some bullshit subjective ruling about how he didn't have full possession as he landed... unless you're wearing a Patriots, steelers, or packers jersey
And yet all people talk about is that loudmouth Beckham jr catch all the time. Chris carters catch was better.
The two people who disliked this are packers fans...
Or two gay guys from the state up north
Odell is good but CC the buckeye invented the one hand grab when they were allowed to rock your bells hi and john Stallworth of the Steelers use to snag that ball QB didn't have to be good
BYU got Mossed.....errrr
HoF
