I’ve recently bought the Fenix CL26R pro lantern, it’s a bit bigger than these, it’s about the size of a coke can, but it is a power house of a lantern offering side lighting, down light or both and has the option to be a powerbank. Very versatile, great run times, just a bit big I’d say for backpacking - I’m mainly motorbike camping. That has a button on the side that’s a bit vulnerable, I managed to find the perfect tupperware type tub and miraculously a matching lid to transport it. I do like that so many of the rechargeable batteries these days have a usb slot on them so they’re very easy to recharge. Thanks for the review and comparisons, very interesting
I’m fond of the flextail max pump 2 pro, it’s a bit heavier than the x2, but the light is a bit better, and it acts as an emergency backup charging brick.
I've been using the ML4 for the past few years, got the warm light version as I don't like white light generally. So far has been durable and still keeps a charge. Cheers Dave.
Thank you for the video. I’ve had a black diamond lantern for years. Decided it’s just extra weight, now it’s under the sink in case of powercut along with an Uco lantern. I just stick with the olight perun now.

Nice!
Everything about the Fire maple screams quality, and Amazon has a copy available at a big savings.
The FM gear I have used Nick, has been excellent, except one multifuel stove.
Olight’s lanterns are pretty good also
Thanks for the tip.

Cheers, Andy. Thanks for your comment once more, my friend.
Black Diamond Apollo lantern. Been brilliant and will last all night. Use it all the time at home as well as camping.
Will check it out!

I find it useful as a video fill light, n=but love the under the sink powercut comment, very 1970's
@@Fellmandave1 🤣🤣. Showing my age!
I much prefer a warmer, lower kelvin, led camp light. Less likely to attract the passing UFO.
The ML4 should be the job, Curt.
😂😂 brilliant !
I was concerned my opening phrase was too close to the wind, Andy!
Hello, may i work with you?
Thank you but no thanks.
