The fact that you just mentioned the firebiner with the box cutter that you never going to use then proceed to receive a box and not use the firebiner but rather use a knife , great stuff 😂

Great list! Some of the gadgets I never leave without:
    - Thermarest Z-seat folding pad, keep it clipped to my pack for whenever I stop, and it makes a decent pillow
    - Thin goatskin leather gloves are just enough to keep hands warm, protect from scratches and thorns, and pick up hot pots off the fire without burning myself
    - SeekIR USB-C thermal camera for my cell phone, for checking on things that go bump in the night, and spotting cold air traps in hilly areas where I wouldn't want to pitch my tent. If you carry a regular camera this is useful for spotting animals you'd otherwise miss.
    - 8x36 Vortex monocular

@@adamy2927 depending on the size of the animal and the amount of foliage, anywhere from 20 to 200 yards. A deer is easier to identify than a mouse, obviously, but at least you can tell if what you're hearing is 2 legged or not.

You can use the pocket bellows with the flextail pump's needle attachment so you dont have to wear your lungs out and you get a way more powerful air stream. Or if you don't have the needle attachment, just wrap your hand around both to connect them and make a tight seal.

gadgets sadgets. I'm not a gadget sort of guy. Everything I carry on a backpack, kayak or bike trip has to serve two or more uses. If a person carried all the possible gadgets now on the market the bottom would fall out of your pack, or the bike tires would explode under the load. I look at everything I carry as a tool and it has do two or more jobs to keep me safe, comfortable and make the journey rewarding. It also has to function in my everyday life in the city. The one tool that is always with me at home, work, church or off grid is red with a white cross, 8cm long by 6mm deep and has everything I need on anywhere any time, tweezer, toothpick, sharp 4cm blade, screw drive/file, scissor. Small but mighty.

Though the little pocket bellow is definitely nice to have. When you need to stoke a fire and get it burning better.
I found a old (and broken) selfie stick and cut the end off that holds a cell phone. And did the same thing for the handle piece and then put a small piece of heat shrink tubing on the tip so that it doesn't end up cutting me or something else in my backpack. Not only is it a little bit bigger in diameter I'm pretty sure it is also longer than the one you have been using. Plus I left the red rubber handle piece on the end to make it easier to find and one of the attachments on my FlexTail air pump. Fits perfectly on the end of my selfie stick pocket bellow, so I put that in with my air pump.

Of all the gear you've shown, the one I've had for years in the Pocket Bellows. It's such an essential tool that not only do I have one, I give them as gifts to my friends who hike/bushcraft. Simple, easy, and stores in your pocket. It does the job. The only reason I don't use one at my house is that I have a hollow metal broom handle that serves very well as a bellows or blow tube for my own fires in my backyard. I have the pocket bellows when I ruck up and hit the trail. It's always in a breast pocket. I will say the little inflation pump is really attractive. For some reason it's passed my notice. The biner is one handy little gadget.

I don't recall if you've mentioned the Govee before and that's why I have one (two really), but there's pricier gadget from SensorPush that includes a barometer if you want even more data. I've been using these in tandem on the back porch when I'm not camping and they are almost perfectly synched. They are so sensitive to temps, I've seen spikes in the morning when the sun gets under the eaves where mine hang for a few mins and they jump when I've got a fire going nearby in the fire pit.
I notice on the Flextail Zero that all your shots show the nozzle untethered, but I found that little flat loop on the end goes around the body just fine. I assume that's what it was for, but who knows.

Some cracking items there. The carabiner and flint is my go to. Handy like you use it for and a great back up flint if my piezo clicker on my soto stove packs up

I have the toaks 750 ml pot with the bale handle and I hate that it catches on other gear. It also makes a terrible cup, if you like to use your pot that way. The attachment points are right where you would drink on this pot, at least on the toaks they are on the same side as the other handle.

As a knife enthusiast I can confirm that Civivi is some of the best value you can get along with Miguron. That said, the Spyderco Ladybug is probably the best UL knife at .6 oz.

Quick tip if someone hasn't already said it. Use your flex tail and your pocket bellows together for oxygenating the fire!

Some good finds here; I may have to procure a few. Nice to see the bellows on here. I got one of these for my son a few years ago for a stocking stuffer. I can say they are a simple yet awesome accessory for your fire starting kit. Make a huge difference getting the fire base going.

So I love the Pocket Bellow but I have had issues with it sticking. I live in FL though and humidity kills everything so not sure if that is what has caused issues with mine. Thankfully, it is cheap enough to replace.

Oh; jam the fat end into a sea shell. Send & receive blurbs. muffled phrases, frenetic numbers.
I don't do electronics - this could be way off.

That Firebiner doesn’t work in humid environment. So when it’s wet bring the backup option, for example matches. I store my matches in UCO case and it’s never failed.
