A lot of channels will just show off an assortment of items for the amazon commission. It's good to see you only promoting products you genuinely use and recommend.
Thank you for the video! Once again, such a valuable and insightful piece from someone who truly travels and doesn’t just showcase products. One tip from my side: consider replacing the Hero Clip (12:56) with a simple S-hook. It’s much more versatile and significantly lighter. Keep up the great work!
Big props to Nitecore. The NU UL series is amazing. I have the NU25 and it's always in my kit. Perfect for hands free use and the UL straps nearly disappear when stuffed into a pocket in my pack. And the 10K & 20K MAH batteries are game changers. Super lightweight for the amount of power they pack for recharging devices on the go.
Thanks, glad you like what I'm doing. I look at what other people put out and I see a lot of the same mediocre gear being pushed, I try to show gear I actually use and like.
Love your videos, have been binging them recently in search of a new backpack. I would love you to get a slightly higher quality camera so I can see what you are pointing at a bit better. Do you have a donation page?
I have a decent camera, Canon M50, the autofocus sucks though 😫 I don't have a donation page but if you'd like to support the channel there's a "Super Thanks" option button under the video, thanks in advance!
Nice video. I can recommend the Xiaomi trimmer with USB-C charge. It really makes things easy to travel only with USB-C cables. Less cables and easy to change in case it breaks or get lost.
Been liking the Ritter clippers, only weighs about 4.2 oz, actually strong enough to trim hair. If you're skilled enough, can fade with the given fixed guards.
good tips. I would recommend Sea to summit TSA toiletry kit, Peak design packable tote and Xreal Air 2 glasses. I carry them in sunglasses case. They are great for watching movies and connecting to my work servers.
I actually use and swear by these too. Oneblade is what I pretty much use. I did have that Panasonic but I found it was very slow to shave, almost like I had to do like 4-5 passes as opposed to 1 pass with other shavers. I also love the MOGICs super bagel, it's super handy. You might like the Belkin 65 watt. What's cool about is that it's 3.5 ounces (though on Amazon it says it's 4.9 ounces but it's actually 3.5 ounces). It's unique in that it has a 45-20 split of power with both being USB C. This is actually unique as currently no other (only C chargers) have a 45/20 splitoff like that. Even the Minix has a (30W+30W) split of power or (30W+18W+18W) but not (45+20W which is super handy if you go with an only C charger setup. The precise title is "Belkin 65W Dual USB-C Wall Charger, Fast Charging Power Delivery 3.0 w/ GaN Technology for iPhone 16, 16 Pro, 16 Pro Max, 15, 14, Pro, Pro Max, Mini, iPad Pro 12.9, MacBook, Galaxy S24, & More - White"
Panasonic is slow, it works better when stubble is short, I've also noticed you have to do multiple passes especially if your stubble has grown for a few days. That's a nice charger, I see they make ones with adapters but they're not readily available, like you have to go to Amazon.uk to find the UK adapter version. I see a EU plug as well, that would be perfect if they sold it with multiple adapter plugs.
What are the brands of those tiny noise machines? I haven’t found an app that my wife finds as acceptable as our home noisemaker, a smaller one would be appreciated!
It depends on what you're doing, but I usually take at least a small flashlight on every trip. The headlamp comes in handy in certain situations, for example night tours, recently did a night boat tour in Costa Rica and a night snorkel in Hawaii. It's nice to have a flashlight for things like that. Sometimes it's nice if you're walking down a street with no sidewalk at night too so cars can see you. The headlamp isn't something I take on every trip, but it has its uses.
I saw a few scenes are a little fuzzy, camera autofocus takes over and decides to focus on something not in frame and it's hard to notice in the tiny camera screen 😫😫
I've had the Matador travel "bottles" for several years now... work ok, but do NOT do well for storage... between trips my Dr. Bronner's liquid soap dries out in the bottle.
I haven't found one, there are products like Lay-N-Go makeup cinch bags that do the same thing, but they're not cheaper. Also you could use a snap camping bowl, like one that lays flat and snaps together to make a bowl or cup, works as a tray but doesn't cinch your gear. You could maybe use a basic cinch pouch and put something at the bottom, like a circular disc to keep it from flopping, seems overly complicated and I don't know that it would work as well. I'd like to hear if anyone has suggestions.
I’ve been carrying a “tactical” pouch for many uses (nightstand, airplane seat back, cameras, TSA checkpoint, ) I also like the maxpedition travel tray for its vertical slots. For snorkeling: I learned I just need simple swimming goggles (I don’t repot need the “nose” cover) & I’ve use a “lap” snorkel (which is centered on the face). Thanks for not just showcasing “new” items!
It comes with international adapters, I just didn't show them in this vid. Here's the full review of that adapter ua-cam.com/video/E4NslG4-NL0/v-deo.htmlsi=RCk9RAft-1861YmY

I take at least one of my hero clips every trip. More secure, holds more and can keep things connected regardless of gravity.

LOVE the Tom Bihn little round travel thingy!
It's pretty good
Western Rise pants...awesome.
I concur
Great video, once again. Thank you!
Another awesome video! Thanks for flagging good gear rather than latest new releases on the annual product treadmill.
Thanks, glad you like what I'm doing. I look at what other people put out and I see a lot of the same mediocre gear being pushed, I try to show gear I actually use and like.
Kuhl pants are definitely the way to go. Only pants I wear now
Team Kuhl!

I have the OneBlade and can recommend it

Good recommendations, I love Peak Design but it's hard to beat the size of the Nanobags for a tote
@@OneBagTravels Many times I had to carry my groceries several miles and how glad I was for the padded carry handle. For me it's worth the weight.
@@magixmagix Ahhh, great point! Nano are tiny but they aren't comfortable when loaded down for long walks
Great intell 👍

Hero clip is good, but I find a simple double sided hook more practical in most cases
Like a Nite-Ize S-Biner style? Do you have one that's big enough to hang over a bathroom stall door?
You can also just pop the little white cover off of the smaller OneBlade.
Hey you're right, it does come off! Haha, problem solved, thanks! =)

I put links in the description, the white one is LectroFan, the small wood colored one is by Babelio.
@@OneBagTravels- Thanks!
Curious what are the best usecases for getting a tiny flashlight like the nite core for traveling?

@ Nonetheless, I appreciate the review. I have an overseas coming up and like to check out new minimalist gear.
Patagonia capilene shirts are amazing. I have 5 and would never wear another shirt if i didn't have to for my job...
What kind of job doesn't let your wear your favorite shirt?!
@@OneBagTravels lmao. i work at a hospital and have a uniform.
@@dentReviews Too bad there's no scrub capilene option 🤣

Interesting, I haven't had them long enough for that to be an issue but good to know
Any budget option for the Tom Bihn travel tray?

@@OneBagTravels is the tom bihn travel tray in your video the small or large size ? Cheers
Maybe a lightweight travel dog bowl
That's the small one

Interesting, I didn't know lap snorkel was a thing, that's a great idea to cut down weight on a mask
I enjoy cheeseburgers.
Don't we all

You're right, it's Rovyvon, I said it wrong 😣
Still 2024 😂
