The almost "end" of the video brought back an old memory....all of us had to bunk in the living room for about 6 wks while we finished the addition (which housed all of the new bedrooms & revamped one of the originals)...the kids got so used to "the family bed" during the project that it continued for some time after and then the kids chose to sleep in one of the bedrooms (instead of utilizing their own SEPARATE bedrooms that they begged for) for many more months....GOOD TIMES & GREAT MEMORIES! I'm THANKFUL for the reminder, for my Family & for you sharing yours with us!
I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who holds onto scrap wood, knowing that someday it will be able to be recycled into a new project instead of being wasted and ending up in a landfill or burned.

We had two boys, two years apart, and they BOTH slept with us in our big king sized bed until they were about 11! (We had a massively large home so they were scared to sleep alone....) They're now married with magnificent wives, jobs and we all carry incredible memories of our family life together. :) LOVED this vlog Ana! I seriously anticipate watching you guys every week. I've been following you since you started building this magnificent home. I am full of gratitude and am thankful to you all.

So many memories. We had the same problem getting our kids out of are bed also. But we didn't have a big bedroom like you do. We could only afford a 2nd hand bed that was a full size & there was my husband, 2 kids, & me. It was tight. Thank God there out of the house now @ 24 yrs & 22 yrs old. But I sure miss them @ 5 yrs & 3 yrs old. Those where the best times of are lives. I love your bed. You guys did a wonderful job. Have a blessed Thanksgiving, Chris

Watching Grace tackle carrying that big headboard up the stairs made me beam! I have a 14 year old daughter so it made me think of all the times we have employed her to help the family in practical ways.
