Welcome to the #1 Mobile Mechanic In Dallas, Texas!! Today I'm working on a 2017 KIA Soul. My client was reporting rough idle, and it was in limp mode. When I first inspected this vehicle it wouldn't go more than 10 mph. it was throwing codes for multiple cylinder misfires, and I suggested it needed a major tune up.

These motors are junk...id suggest if you have one trade it in first sign off dark sandy carbon speckled spark plugs.

Same thing I told my customer, and 2 weeks later, this vehicle was stolen. Somebody did her a favor. Insurance bought her a new car. And it wasn't a kia lol

I rather work on these engines than a BMW 3 series I used to have. Same with mini Cooper. Garbage motors for sure.

@@megaman010391 not bad to work on. But bad to burn 1qt of oil every 2k-3k miles on a engine with 87,000. 2017 Sportage turbo my wife owned had spark plugs replaced at 40k With OEM replacements. I pulled them out because of misfire issue at 85k and they looked horrible. One was broke, I bore scoped the cylinder and it was a little beat up. I put new plugs in and traded for a Tacoma.
