Loving the tour and the street views
Thank you Alice. I'm glad you enjoyed it☺️
Looses is a veritable treasure trove! It makes me want to take a trip to Norwich myself soon. Great blog and beautifully filmed as always. Thank you 😊
I'm glad to enjoyed it 😊 We feel so lucky to have such a beautiful city on our doorstep. If Mark & I have a day off we love wandering the streets of Norwich 😊
What a beautiful city! I enjoy a wander as well, especially in a place I've not visited before.
It really is! Thanks for visiting it with me.
Very familiar territory for me before I moved out of Norwich! I used to live just down the road from there. Disappointing that you were not able to find what you were after. Looses China used to be in that building before they moved. Glad it is so suitable as an antiques centre.
Did you like Norwich because you moved? We think it's a hidden gem. We love it 😍 Looses works so well as an emporium although I would have loved seeing it as a home store.
It was a shop which sold quality new china and kitchen wares never a department store as such. Norwich unfortunately as with many cities these days has its fair share of drug and antisocial issues which is why I decided to move to the Broads and haven't regretted doing so. There are some beautiful buildings and a vast selection of Medieval properties to be enjoyed and plenty of places to visit for the bargain hunter such as yourself. Take care.@@elegantlyknackeredstyle
@@SW-cu6bwI think Looses China sounds like my dream shop 😀 I had a Saturday job in a china shop and I loved it. When all my friends were getting Saturday jobs in bars and cafes, the only job I wanted was in Church's China 😍
Thank-you for filming where you shopped It is so lovely to see these beautiful places.❤
My pleasure 😊 I really enjoy capturing the beauty 😊
Wow I can't Believe the prices of old stuff in Britain so expensive.I live in Australia and have picked up beautiful stuff for next to nothng and our dollar is half the price of a pound.
Yes, prices have definitely shot up plus old stuff is getting harder to find.
Those are my kind of shops.
Mine too! There's so much to look at 😊
@@elegantlyknackeredstyleand you don't have to walk miles even in the bigger shops.
Very true
A lovely guide through a beautiful city! I look forward to more and will make sure I see previous vlogs! ❤
Welcome aboard Deirdre 😊
So pretty
It is a beautiful city 😍
I SO need to go to Looses! You've inspired me now, it's definitely worth a drive there - that fairground stuff is right up my street too!
Next meet up could be in Norfolk?
Dangerous idea but a good one...🤩@@elegantlyknackeredstyle
😘
Come antiquing with me in the beautiful city of Norwich! Let me know if you spotted anything which caught your eye. There's so much to see.
Any relation to actress Mollie Sugden?
@@craft-o-matic399 Not to my knowledge.
What sort of sink base are you looking for ?
I dont go to Norwich often nowadays, glad Jarrolds have put the 's' back on😅. Kings Lynn is nearer to us, and it's beautiful too 😊
Ideally we are looking for a Victorian pine cupboard which we can put a Belfast sink onto but because of the nature of our freestanding kitchen, we can be flexible. It all depends what we find 😊 Exploring Kings Lynn is on my list. I've heard the old part is meant to be beautiful.
@@elegantlyknackeredstyleHave you tried Holt Antiques and Interiors on Thornage Road, they have some good furniture bits, the prices vary due to the seller, but it may be worth a little trip if you haven't already been.
@@hopesprings7812 I regularly pop in there, intact I used to have an area in there, selling my own vintage wares ☺️
@@elegantlyknackeredstyle 😅 haha, small world, I'll think of you when I'm mooching in West Norfolk and if I see anything will let you know, sometimes you find stuff in unexpected places 😉
@@hopesprings7812 that would be amazing. Thank you
Looses is on Magdalen Street, not on Elm Hill
I don't believe I said it was on Elm Hill, I said I was taking a detour on the way to Looses. I think you misunderstood.
Just discovered your channel. Please can you tell me what the great jazz music is at beginning?
It's called Vintage Dream by Mathilda June.
I absolutely love your videos, but I wonder if you could switch out your music sometimes- maybe some nice instrumental music instead of that vocal.
I find selecting music such a difficult task. I believe in later videos I have switched over to mostly instrumental. Creating videos is a tremendous learning curve 😬
@@elegantlyknackeredstyle yes it is hard, but you are doing a great job!
