- It’s a BIG one! I bagged 29 fabulous home decor pieces, mostly vintage and antique! We start in the historical village of Tenterden (with some suprising USA connections!!) and then head to a selection of charity shops and charity furniture stores to hunt out those decorating bargains! There will be the big reveal where we have a chat about the pieces, how I will make them over and style them, plus I’ll be sharing my tips on reading makers marks on the bottom of china… did I really bag a piece of china that’s over 130 years old for just £5?????

I love all of your wonderful treasures, and so envious of the history in your charity shops! Hard to bring home those kind of vintage and antique finds on an airplane! I love the boxes and the all the unique items that will be such great conversation pieces. When my hubby and I were going to farm auctions in the the mid west I would often find puzzling items ( before google) but they were so fun I would hang them from my pot rack over our kitchen island. It always was a conversation starter.
I think one (or 2)of the canes could be made into a pot rack of sorts suspended from the ceiling with plants, pots, florals, and treasures. Just love your videos, they're not long enough! God Bless

So fun..My husband's Aunt was a curator for the Victoria & Albert museum decades ago working on shipwreck articles from the sunken ship Gerona and my husband uncle (his aunts husband) was the Curator for Chatsworth throughout his career. I have always wanted to visit having Bern born and lived in the deep South of the U.S. my entire life and never having the opportunity to. Travel abroad. Watchung your episodes give me a chance to visit vicariously through your hunting trips for treasures. So fun to se these lovely old things with such character given a whole new chance at life to listen in on more

I LOVE the Platter, the wood box with dividers inside and brass hinges, the clear and Green compote pedestal dish, the moveable mirror with wooden base and last but not least the marble look coverd dish... Great Haul.

Oh my goodness, we stumbled across Tenterden when we were in England in September…we ate lunch on the benches in front of that church!! Didn’t have time to shop but certainly saw some interesting things in the couple of places we went in. Lovely bakery, too.

Canes could be attached to a basket as leggs (curved part on floor) you could leave taller or make for a table. Used as a fern stand. Or for assorted floral arrangement. Liked your ideas as well 😊

I used to do decor items and sell them at a local market. One of the things was rolling pins and would replace the handle with a bit cut off a stair spindle with the paint roughly sanded off in places to make it a bit more decorative. Also, I would add spindle bits to bread boards as the handle

England has such good prices!! Here in the US, it is quite a different story!! We would never find a wood chair for 12.00 US (about the conversion rate) and you find such glorious items they make my heart sing!!

we have an old woodworking tool, which my husband received from his grandfather. I found it on the attic in a dust - hubby wanted to throm it away (!) - and I literally hugged it and said, that it will stay. It remind me so much of my grandfather, but unfortunately I was not able to salvage any of his belongings back in Ukraine.
Well now, it is a family joke - but more important, the tool is something from the family, a personal item, which shall be cherished - now proudly sitting (and collecting some dust :D) on a bookshelf!
