    Lovely vlog. You work so hard yet manage to look so elegant! Love the music you choose to accompany your video. I work a lot on my garden so it’s really nice watching someone else working on theirs! But everything is looking lovely in your garden. X

    Elegantly knackered indeed :) You two are so funny together ,apparently having a good laugh is the secret to a long term relationship :)) Your renovation plans for the end of 2024 seem to be quite realistic and will surely improve your every day life, the bedroom , the bathroom, the log shed and the front path - cannot wait for your next videos , will be interesting to watch the progress. Your house is already beautiful as it has a soul and character, it just needs some loving touches from you ... xx

    Wow, I’m stressing having to empty cupboards and things to get new carpet in three rooms. You’re talking about a mini digger to dig up the floor! Rather you than me and now I feel much better about my carpet upheaval. Mark calls digging up the floor a tiny little job?

    Ha, ha. That purslane you bought for salads is what we call water weed here in Australia. It appears when we water in the summer because the seeds are obviously in our water supply.

    Great Q&A. We’ve got a shed of doom too. Then there’s the carport. Honestly, for people driving past they’d think we were the town’s Steptoe & Son. But like you, we’ll turn it around.

Where is your sofa chat questions go if we would like to ask a question? Did you say at one time that you are a school teacher? Hopefully when Fall/Autumn comes Mark will share some cooking !!?!! take care... Paula

    Mark you remind me of my husband, he had dirty knees a few days ago. Goodness knows what he was doing in the garden. Different reasons, same outcome. LOL Things seem to be coming along from last month. We keep meaning to go to Tony Two Sheds, it’s the one place we didn’t know about in Norfolk. Will be going in the next two weeks or so. xx

    Buongiorno, you're missing one of the best things in gardening, making your own compost. Instead of putting it in the bin, it can be stacked in a corner of your garden, it doesn't smell and it is the best fertiliser ! Don't put cooked food on it, it will attract rats. But, try it ?

    • @elegantlyknackeredstyle
      @elegantlyknackeredstyle День тому

      Yes, I know! It's on my to-do list for next year. I have only really started giving my garden attention this year and next year I hope to implement my bigger garden plan, including a compost heap.

    Please tell me if you remove the lower leaves of your artichoke. Mine is HUGE and covers half the garden, despite the fact that the chokes grow only at the top. These huge leaves seem extraneous and I wonder if it’s OK to get rid of them. We’re two weeks away from spring here in Australia, so the growth is happening now.

    Living in the UK one has to use every bit of good weather for working outside. Great progress on the log shed, it will be an asset. Your herbs garden is looking good and it will be even more beautiful once you match the other side looking similar . So much work ahead but it is very rewarding. Take care you both and carry on 🤗👌 Greetings from North West

    I have paviours that weeds grow in between, after years of pulling them out by hand I now just pour boiling water from the kettle, it works wonders. I realise you can't do it on a large space, but once the weeds are cleared it looks so much better. Great work especially in the heat. 🌞👒🐾
