So sorry to see what happened to your Boss in the later videos Sean but this content is still so helpful. Thanks for making them. I heard you mention when you had your transmission rebuilt that you put the stock tune back in the car. I understand that’s a good idea incase the dealer performs an upgrade to your ECU. When going to a stock tune do you have to take the car back to the tuner before your appointment or does he just reprogram your regular key to use the stock tune? Thanks.
Hey I saw you today on the highway 99 and checked out your channel. I was the grey Mustang with a huge wing that waved. I see that you do some autocross. I just started to do that too. Hope to see you out there!
Great video, you have a beautiful car. I would like to point out two things though. You mentioned that an aftermarket tune would disable track apps. This is not the case in my experience. My track apps worked when I bought the car (before track key install) and after I had it tuned. You also mention that you can get headers on the car now that you can tune it. The wide band O2s on the car compensate for headers without a tune. I drove my LS for two years (about 10,000 miles) with a set of long tubes and off road H pipe using the track key tune. It did throw a CEL but the power increase in the mid range was noticeable. The car seems to have done fine, and my plugs looked great when I replaced them two years later. I do wish the option you are discussing was available when I put my blower on though. I still miss the lope idle and engine breaking, but the power increase was worth it.
I know it’s an video , just catching up. Haters will hate😂😂😂 I love the loopy idle, I don’t care what people think. You right, if they had it they won’t think it’s corny.
Love the BOSS bro! I have the 2012 BOSS302, Comp. Orange. LOVE IT! Still only has 27k miles on it. Mainly use it for HPDE racing all over the U.S. I’m in the Oklahoma Mustang Club and also MASS (Mid America Speed Syndicate). So I have mine tuned also and I REALLY want to be able to use my Track Key also like you.. I didn’t really make out what you were saying about your tune and you still being able to use the track key… Could you help explain how you’re able to do it? Do you have an article or something somewhere about it? Maybe something you could send me talking more about it? Or, possibly hook me up with someone you’ve had tune yours so I can use the Track Key too? Love your vids bro keep it up!! Thank in advance! - BOSSHOSS
None at all. I do want to install the upper control arm soon though. The stock one might be in good condition and that’s why I don’t have any wheel hop

Wish there was a Tunner here in Tennessee so I could tune my Boss like that. Glad we don’t get snow like you all do.
I dont drive my mustangs when they salt the roads.

Hey Sean, have you considered adding the factory gauge pack to your dash?
😉 will post a video soon.
Brian Pater hi there! What’s the factory gauge pack?
Do you have any wheel hop with your car in dry conditions?
None at all. I do want to install the upper control arm soon though. The stock one might be in good condition and that’s why I don’t have any wheel hop
grrr, wish I had watched this earlier... I just went with lund and lost some of that Bossness :(
Does the boss 302 have different rear shocks then a GT mustang?
dunn523 yes they do. Boss 302s come with adjustable shocks.
