No like literally. 99% of people are never original and just follow a trend or what’s popular. For example, a girl can do something random, it becomes trendy, and then like 100% of other girls will just follow the trend. My instagram feed is literally filled with every girl doing the same damn thing. Hell, I even been seeing multiple artists do the same spill art. It’s so sad how people can’t even be their own main character.

Bro, even as someone who's just now starting out making art/content and trying to get out there, I've already encountered someone saying they legitimately hate my art. I handled it gracefully and didn't really show myself taking it personally, but I did because I'm brand new, and on Insta I have 20 followers and on Tiktok I have like 6, and on UA-cam I have 21.

My gosh bro, I'm so glad you're covering this topic. For decades, that "fell off" term has always irked my freaking soul to hear. I started hearing it especially about musicians. They don't come out with a music video for a while and all of a sudden they "fell off". They don't know that musician's story, they don't know if they are MORE at peace having left that evil industry, they know nothing. Yet they say "Yeah he/she aint got it no more, they wack." Nowadays that mess has passed on to the content creators who work their tails off.

I took a 5-month break and posted today to only 4 views in 2 hours when I would have at least 20-30 views before taking a break, so I completely understand. Also, at 4:52, I saw this same shit. Someone on Reddit said, "This guy is really good at Apex till I saw his sub count," as if I can't be a small up-and-coming creator and should instantly have a large following
I have a hypotheses: I want to say that ever since youtube removed dislike counts, people have nothing to look at in like to dislike ratios to know if a video is good. And now the only thing they have to go off of is viewcount.
