ISF Steering ECU Upgrade

- 2013-2014 ISF Steering Control Module. These work for the 2006-2013 IS250 and 350 as well as the Convertables.
These are needed to be programmed if bought new.
I bought mine from Oemvehicleparts.com Saved 32% The dealer wanted $1,100!!
The part number for this one which is the best one to get is 89650-53042
The correct way to pull off the connectors you struggled with is a s follows. 1. Look at the white connector on the left, there is a little black strip of plastic on/in the vertical segment of the connector. Get a pick or a very small headed screwdriver. Push underneath that strip of plastic and pry it up. It will pop up. 2. Once that strip pops up THEN do as he instructed. Lift that section of the connector, as it will dislodge the connector from the housing. Then take your time and wiggle the connector and pull. Ensure that you aren’t pulling on the section that is attached to the Ecu like I did, and was wondering why it wasn’t moving.
Repeat the steps for the smaller connector on the right.

Hello how did that upgrade work for you did you it requiring reprogramming or jus recalibrating
so if I buy a used steering ecu it's basically plug and play?
It didn't require to program it or just recalibrate it

Woudk you recommend 2012 steering ecu or the 13-14 one?
Honestly the 2012 is good, However the 2013-14 is better. they have an update to those that make the steering not feel sol much on and off during a large corner. the 2013-14 just feels solid af.

Hello so your car is a 2006 and the module is from a 2013 and it worked with out a problem
How big is the difference
Huge difference in the drive quality! I feel so much more planted now.
