- We remove the electric power steering module under battery to clean corrosion and inspect any damage. I noticed battery acid was dripping down and corroding bolts so I decided to take out and inspect.

I have lexus is350 2006 RWD ( LEFT HAND DRIVE)
I installed this part today 89650-53030 lexus isf and the moment I started the car and rotated tghe steering it kept moving by itself without any stopping. I switched it off not sure why this happens. I appreciate your help

Did you have reset power steering after reconnecting module? I am having issues with my power steering intermittently going out.
Not if it isn’t replaced.

@@user-hk7nw8bp7tYes but it was expensive. Replaced the module first with no luck. Then replace the steering wheel
position sensor ($350 for the part) still wouldn’t allow the mechanic to recalibrate. Then replaced the rack ($450) used. That fixed it.
Quick question.. after replacing the power steering model after the power steering goes out, do you have to re program the computer or am I getting smoke blown up my A** and all you have to do is just plug it in and your good? Thanks in advance!
I think it needs to be calibrated.
So what happens if you install a F module in to an normal is250?
People say it give you better and tighter steering feel. Lots of people do the upgrade.
How were the pins on the connectors? Were they corroded too?
Mine were fine. This was more of a preventative check and cleaning.
So after driving through some flooded roads and leaving for a two day trip my steering wheel is getting stuck a bit and then makes a gear/grinding sound from inside the dash. Is it the steering rack that’s bad? Any ideas?
Sounds like the motor for the electric power steering.
@@TunerwithKids yah I was afraid of that. My wheel also isn’t doing the thing where it moves a little when starting the car. When does the steering rack video come out?

Not stock. They are parking light and signal mirrors.

@@TunerwithKids no, PCS and active cruise control don't work. I don't know if it's damaged or blocked. suddenly stopped working on a fast road after turning the steering wheel sharply. the error cannot be deleted. :(
