Hello again HPO!! Just a little advice, when you tq down anything, not only in the correct order, but in increments, like say 30% at a time. With 140, you could go 40,50,50, that helps keep aluminum parts from possible cracks. Good luck! Then re-tq after 100 miles. Also wheel spacers do add extra forces to the bearings.

Hey man I just bought a 2019 Colorado Z71 and your vision for modifying the Colorado is excellent. I was pretty excited about using the fender flares and wheel spacers to give my truck a wider looking stance. HOWEVER, in my search for 1.5" wheel spacers I had a Chevy mechanic explain to me how they were a horrible idea and would likely result in a prematurely worn out hub assembly, bearings, and suspension. He went on to say that if/when that happened and I brought my Colorado to the dealership for "warranty work" (to repair/replace the hub assembly - the repair would not be covered because of the wheel spacers precipitated the damage and voided the warranty). So, before I bought anything I did more research. I spoke with 2 different truck modification shops in Springfield. Both agreed that the wheel spacers were a bad idea for the potential damage mentioned earlier. They suggested that I instead by wheels with a 0 degree offset as that would most likely get my tires in alignment with my fender flares without the wear & tear on the front end of my truck. What are your thoughts (i.e. are you concerned that the wheel spacers have such a bad reputation and may be an extremely costly alternative to just buying wheels with a (0) offset?
I have heard on and off about possible problems. My personal experience with them has been nothing but good. If you find and talk to any reputable mechanic he will give it to you straight. Spacers DO take life off of suspension components but we're talking years and thousands of miles down the road. This isn't going to blow your suspension apart in 3 months. So I just got my 2 inch kit just like yours with the strut rings and the spacers are made of plastic and they say they're only 5/8 in spacers.. were your spacers a full inch or were they more around 5/8? I'm not thinking this is a big enough spacer for a 1 inch difference..
Ok good to know. I guess you dont need a full inch of spacer for that much lift on the truck. Mine are a hard plastic material. Hopefully they hold up! Gonna wait for my wheel spacers to get in next week before I install it all.
Have a 2019 Colorado extended cab. Went with 2.5 inch leveling kit. Looks great no problems. Had it aligned when finished. Wheel spacers are not a good idea. Hard on wheel bearings, ball joints. Maybe go with a zero offset wheel instead. Stock is 33 mm I think.
The wheels need to be pushed out in my opinion. They may wear those parts slightly faster but not a big deal for me. I've had them on for about 5k miles now and no issues.
This is impressive and all but did I tell you I got my own gas the other day? Lol. Actually I had to watch a UA-cam video on how to open my gas cap on the Vette becauae I couldn't find the button for release. Yes I AM STUPID. This is what happens when you stop driving your car. I am very impressed with your ability to do all this stuff. Calipers look great too!
🤣🤣🤣 that had me rolling, man! Greatest way to start a comment ever! Thanks, though! I really only learned all this stuff because I was tired of being disappointed after paying someone else to do it.
@@HorsePowerObsessed I totally get that. I have been frustrated with most of the people doing stuff to my cars. The exception being Corvette World. They have been great. Looks like I need to follow in your footsteps.

Hey Justin great how to vid on the truck bro. Subtle mod, major results. Edited perfectly also. "The Colly" is looking better and better with each mod. When are we doing RamZey ?? Just saying...LOL Thx J.
HorsePower Obsessed thanks I appreciate it. My thinking was I didn’t wanna have a cover put on the bed and then it lift the front end higher than the back so I didn’t know if 1 inch was the way to go what do u think
After all these years, are your wheel spacers still in use? Because I also bought a set of wheel spacers like yours for my 21 Canyon before and haven’t installed them yet. I just don’t know if it’s safe?
I’m glad I finally found someone who does work on Colorado’s. I have a 2017 and I bought a 2” leveling kit for it. Also what do you think of full tail gate sticker/decals?
HorsePower Obsessed have you found out an exhaust tip that you like and sound? I’ve been looking for awhile but with no luck to anything that I like and sound. What about you?
I haven't found any exhausts I really like the sound of, but I did find just a black exhaust tip that I'll be putting on soon. Matt 1003 has the same one on his colorado and it looks great!
@@HorsePowerObsessed I just installed the 2” leveling kit with 1.5 “ spacer with new 265/70/17 tires they are rubbing when I turn don’t know what to do next. If I should take the spacers out or what is a fix for that ?

Nice set up brother. What size tires are those in video? I ask because I also have 1.5 spacers on my 2016 colorado LT with stock wheels and tires 255 65 17. Now I added a 2in level kit and 1in rear blocks... And really want to know if I can 265 70 17 tires with my setup now without crazy rubbing issues. Thanks
Loving the channel man, I have the black redline and enjoy your mods, kinda like looking at the polar opposite of mine. Any thoughts of doing black lug nuts? I looked on Chevy they want $200!! Keep up the good work brother!
Hey , are you at all worried about the warranty on truck being voided from the leveling kit? The dealership told me it would void everything except the motor if I did a leveling kit...?
Not at all. It wouldn't void anything but select suspension parts IF something happened that they could prove was caused by the leveling kit. The 1" block I used at the top is unlikely to cause any issues anyway.
@@chadbreedlove5457 not true. It only voids the warranty of any affected part. Basically, if I have a leveling kit but my transmission starts slipping it will still be covered. The only thing a leveling kit would void warranty of would be suspension.
Hey HPO. I have gone back and forth over do I or don't I add spacers... I love the look but don't want to ruin my bearings (they are NOT cheap to replace). Many say offset wheels will do the same thing. What are your thoughts on this?
Thanks for sharing your ride and your fun with the upgrades. I gotta get those spacers for myself! QQ... I'm looking at the Eibach front and back Stage 1 kit, it would remove the need of the Rough Country leveling kit (which I use too). I've read, but can't confirm, this Stage 1 system is a little misleading with its claims of adding 3" to the front and 1" in the back, (it requires lift blocks?), you have any thoughts on this? Thx!
You're welcome! It's been a blast modifying this truck! I've read a lot about the eibach kit. It seems to be a pretty popular option. Not too expensive and it gives you a decent lift. I haven't read anything bad about it.
Love your videos. They are simple mods, but nothing crazy. I want to do the spacers but I'm not sure on the lift. Can I just do the spacers, or does the lift help with the look of the spacers? I'm not sure it's that big a difference and I'm just not going to pull all that apart. What will bringing it to a garage run me? I have a 2018 Chevy Colorado Z71 like yours in blue with the black stripe. I also have the EGR® 751395 - Rugged Matte Black Front and Rear Fender Flares which I think are a little beefier than the ones you have. I also have the Ionic Pro Series 5" Black Curved Nerf Bars. The curved aspect flows with the truck. Thanks.
Thanks, man! You don't have to do a leveling kit or a lift with the spacers but you will have to modify the fender well plastic so it won't rub (I cover this in a later video).
What size of tires do you have? I just put 265/70r17 Mud terrain tires on and I’m getting a wee bit of rubbing when I really turn sharp. I’m hoping a 1 inch leveling kit will correct that. But, also worried spacers will make them rub worse.
the 1 inch level kit will fix it but the spacers will make it worse. If you do both, you'll also have to trim the front of the fender well plastic a bit. I have a video on it.
Got a 06 Colorado single cab 4x4 and it already looks like it has a leveling kit on it cause it sits higher then most i see around that's stock like mine. I bought from a used car dealership and im a newby trying to figure out where to start on figuring out how much bigger i can go with tires and wheels but don't really know much or where to start. It has i think the factory 15 inch tires on it but where it looks like it has a leveling kit on it iy makes those tires look to small for the truck
i herd the spacers can start to squeak after sometime thats why i went with an actual lift kit on my colorado. it is on my channel if youd like to check it out. I do like the spacers you have on yours
Hey man I know you already got rid of the z71 but did you ever have any problems with the wheel spacers ? I’m thinking of getting some but I plan on towing a bit and putting some weight on my bed
@@HorsePowerObsessed It can be trickier than that. I did a Tundra this weekend and the torque spec in the owner manual is 154 for steel wheels and 97 for aluminum. Just sayin. You don't wanna pull the lugs through.
@@HorsePowerObsessed I'm sure you are in spec, but I have to say it makes zero sense that Toyota changes torque based on wheel hub material and Chevy doesn't. Here is the except from toyota.com Tundra manual... • Have the wheel nuts tightened with a torque wrench as soon as possible after changing wheels. Steel wheel: 154 ft·lbf (209 N·m, 21.3 kgf·m) Aluminum wheel: 97 ft·lbf (131 N·m, 13.4 kgf·m)"
I'm not getting the info from Chevrolet I'm getting it directly from the manufacture of the wheel spacers. They suggest going with whatever the spec for your wheels are. The wheels in this case are 140ft-lbs so that's what I used for the spacers. From what you're saying Toyota changes it based on their wheel material but this isn't quite the same situation. I'm going off of manufacture to manufacture specs to ensure everything is good. Last thing I want is to find out the hard way that the wheel spacers weren't torqued down correctly.
@@HorsePowerObsessed was the rubbing due to the space you put on the wheels? I have a Canyon and am having a hard time choosing wheels and tires, going with the 2 inch leveling kit myself.
I have a question about the leveling kit. Does it do like it says, "leveling" the truck so that the rear levels out to the same height as the front? I'd like to raise mine about an inch or so also, but I like the look of the rear being slightly higher than the front. How do I go about accomplishing this?
The 2-in leveling kit levels out the front and rear. The 1-in that I did here still has a factory rake to it meaning the rear is still a little bit higher.
Im looking to put the same exact spacers on my truck. How are they holding up over time? any problems? also how thick are those fender flares off the actual body of the truck. My truck doesn't have the fender flares so Im trying to figure out how much my tires will poke outside the truck. thanks
Great looking truck brother! Quick question, you keep it leveled at one inch or you add the second inch?? Going to get this done on my 2018 LT and right now my front is at 34.50 and the rear is at 35.75. Thanks in advance.
No problem! I started this channel to share a passion and that's impossible if I don't interact so I will do it for as long as I have this channel! Are you going to grab the same ones I used? I highly recommend them. Great price and great quality.
Great video! Love my Colorado... I have same size tires as you and I was hoping for more poke with the 1.5”.. do you think it’s ok to get 2” still? Hopefully won’t hurt truck or anything
@@HorsePowerObsessed love the Red and the upgrades! Really want those taillights! I have the Inferno orange Colorado... I think I will get the 2” so I can have bit more poke
So the stock tire is 255/65/17. I got some falken tires but size 265/70/17. I’ll see if they rub... how much would a shop charge to do the lift (in case it does rub or would help the height.,
HorsePower Obsessed I hope I don’t get any rubbing. I do want to lift it. But the gas in Los Angeles is crazy high and ain’t trying to be pimpin on a budget. Thanks for the info.
Yes. The 1" top part is pretty easy to install, just slides in on top of the strut and the truck but the bottom 1" spacer goes under the spring. This requires a full strut removal, spring removal, and then reassembly.
It would have been great it would have been great to actually see you stripped the spacer in I know it's difficult to do stuff and film at the same time but look for a tripod I would love to see you actually do the whole job give me the paper can't find the video where you're installing the lower spacers would love to see that thanks for a great job
I'm not sure what you mean. I did share the whole installation. most of the install on this video was filmed with a tripod. Do you mean whenever I spray painted the spacers?
Would you have needed to modify the waffles if you had installed the other spacer for 2” leveling? I am about to do these same mods but my fender flares came on it and really hoping I don’t have to remove them since the adhesive tape was used.
HorsePower Obsessed thanks for the help! Can’t wait to get these done! I did the stubby antenna, interior lights, and cargo light.. I also had the windows tinted and had a power sunroof installed on my 2019 Crush Z71...loving the videos!!
Have a question I’m working on my COLORADO I got my rims painted. Mind you my Colorado is brand new only 5000 miles on it. Now driving at 75 mph the truck has a shimmy have u experience that by just taking the tire off the rim And putting them back? Hit me up.
I have had a shimmy since the day I bought the truck. It had 3 miles on it at the time. The new wheels/tires I have on it didn't change that. I do plan on getting them rebalanced though because both sets of wheels were factory balanced. If that doesn't solve it then I have no clue what's causing it.

My ability to do this stuff was born out if desperation due to constantly being disappointed in others. It's a shame really but if I was closer I'd gladly teach you. It would make great videos!
@@HorsePowerObsessed Yup. One day!! I might be 70 but one day! 😜
🤣 hopefully not that long!
Hey man! Just a big thanks for sharing your experiences with the Colorado. I recently got a 2019 LT and have been having a lot of fun following your upgrades and doing some of my own.
That's awesome! Thank you! It's been a blast modifying this truck so I know exactly what you mean! Send me some pictures of your truck if you get a chance! 👍👍
Same
Also, I believe my level was 2.5" spacer and my wheels still rub in reverse full lock but very, very little. No rub going forward in full lock.
Yeah the rub is very minimal but I'm going to take care of it this weekend hopefully! Very little cutting needed to fix it anyway.
What’s full lock mean?
Fully turned and held to one side.
Take a look at the AVS hood protector in smoked black. Looks kick ass and keeps the rocks off your hood. Just installed today.
I had considered one of those! I may still do it! 👍👍
HorsePower Obsessed Adds a little flair to the front end plus protects. My truck is black I think it would look better on your red truck. Will totally stand out. It’s under $60 delivered to boot
Nice! 👍👍 I'll check it out. Thanks for the tip!
Thanks for all your posts on the z71. I have really enjoyed seeing your truck evolve! Question: In removing the air damn and adding the front levelers, how much has your mpg's changed? Thanks in advance!
Thank you! I have not noticed any change in my MPG with any of my mods. 👍👍
@@HorsePowerObsessed Thanks for your response! What do you average?
You're quite welcome! Right now it is right around 17mpg. Keep in mind that is almost all city driving, very rare to see a highway with this truck.
@@HorsePowerObsessed got it. Thanks man!!!
We love our ZR2 Colorado. The looks are killer with the higher stance and width.
Definitely! It's looking way better than stock!
You mentioned the rubbing when fully turned in. Was it more from the lift and not the spacers that caused the rubbing. I was not sure... Thanks
The wheel spacers are definitely what caused this.
@@HorsePowerObsessed Do you have a video on how you fixed this?
Nice truck man.. you Rich as hell man
Thanks! I'm certainly blessed and surely work hard for everything I own 😊
HorsePower Obsessed that’s what’s up :)

Where did you get the black fog light molding?

Hey Justin great how to vid on the truck bro. Subtle mod, major results. Edited perfectly also. "The Colly" is looking better and better with each mod. When are we doing RamZey ?? Just saying...LOL Thx J.
Thank you! I'm totally down for doing some mods on RamZey! Let me know when and where! 👍👍
All you have to do is put it in fourwheel drive. Then you can torque down the lugs
What kind of tail lights did u get ate they easy to install
Spyder tail lights.
What made you add the other spacer to make it 2 inches instead of keeping it 1 inch
It wasn't quite level. It needed the other inch to make it a perfectly level truck.
HorsePower Obsessed thanks I appreciate it. My thinking was I didn’t wanna have a cover put on the bed and then it lift the front end higher than the back so I didn’t know if 1 inch was the way to go what do u think
2" for sure. Perfectly level, the front is not higher than the rear. The rear is actually still about .3 to .5" higher than the front.
I added the rc 2 in leveling kit and driver side about 1/2 in lower than the passenger side
That's interesting. My drivers side is a hair lower but it's not even 1/8th of an inch different.
Everyone I talked to says its the chevy lean but the back is the same hight as the front driver side
After all these years, are your wheel spacers still in use? Because I also bought a set of wheel spacers like yours for my 21 Canyon before and haven’t installed them yet. I just don’t know if it’s safe?
Yes they were absolutely fine.
Awesome ! Great job and thx for the inspiration !
Thank you!!!
Did you have to adjust your headlights after the level kit. I am going to put a 1" level kit in mine. Your truck has made me want to mod mine.
I did aim them down after the level kit.
HorsePower Obsessed Thank you. I'm doing falken 265/65/17 with some zr2 wheels on my z71. Thanks again.
Nice! Sounds like an awesome setup.
I’m glad I finally found someone who does work on Colorado’s. I have a 2017 and I bought a 2” leveling kit for it. Also what do you think of full tail gate sticker/decals?
I kind of like the American flag in black on the back but I'm not sure yet if I would do it.
HorsePower Obsessed if I can send a pic I’ll show you it when I get the emblems off and it on.
HorsePower Obsessed have you found out an exhaust tip that you like and sound? I’ve been looking for awhile but with no luck to anything that I like and sound. What about you?
Definitely! I am interested in taking a look for sure!
I haven't found any exhausts I really like the sound of, but I did find just a black exhaust tip that I'll be putting on soon. Matt 1003 has the same one on his colorado and it looks great!
Hello on the video you mentioned 1” leveling kit but the link is for a 2 “ which one did you put on the truck ?
The 2 inch level kit is a two-part system where if you only install one piece it’s 1 inch.
@@HorsePowerObsessed I just installed the 2” leveling kit with 1.5 “ spacer with new 265/70/17 tires they are rubbing when I turn don’t know what to do next. If I should take the spacers out or what is a fix for that ?
Truck is looking good.
Thank you!
What are the largest tires that you can run on the set up?
265/65/17
Love the lift look. I am curious, are these the biggest tires that you can fit on this lift without rubbing?
With this level kit and the wheel spacers I have, yes.
I see Goodyear wranger... Is this the duratec 265/65/r17?

What brand running boards are you using?
These are OEM gm running boards for the Colorado.
Dig it! Wife wants to do this to her 18 colorado. Hows the overall feel after getting it dialed in
It felt no different than stock. 👍👍
All you have to do is stick a screwdriver in the vent in the rotor and It will press against the edge of the caliper
Interesting tip!
HP Obsessed. I will be picking my Colorado Z-71 from RiPP Superchargers in Staten Island NY Thurs. June 6, 2019 at approx.2:30 pm. I read where you were contemplating a RC 6" lift for your Colorado. My lift awaits me when I return to the ATL.I will be driving back through the NJ. area on the toll ridden turnpike and would gladly show you my 400+ HP Colorado as I make my way back to the ATL. You could contact Matt cause you met him and see if he wants to witness the power ofmy Colorado Z-71 and video the event as well as compare mods. Respond if interested and we could meet up before I blastMPH speed limits passing thru.
I just now saw that. Obviously way too late. I apologize. That would have been awesome to see.
Thanks
Yes sir! They are, in fact, 265/65/17.
Loving the channel man, I have the black redline and enjoy your mods, kinda like looking at the polar opposite of mine. Any thoughts of doing black lug nuts? I looked on Chevy they want $200!! Keep up the good work brother!
Thank you! I'm not sure if I'm going to do black lug nuts. I kind of like the contrast of the chrome ones right now but that could change 😁
Keep up the good vids bro. Love the truck. Have you noticed any decrease in mpg following level or spacers?
Thanks man! I haven't noticed any difference in MPG yet.
What brand of tires and Size do you have on your new wheels
265/65/17
Great video, thanks! Looking to do the same mods to my truck.
Glad to help!
Excellent video...beautiful truck..nice color combinations...👍
Thank you! 👍
Are these the stock tire ..and if I wanted to go with a larger tire and same size level would large amounts of trimming be required to avoid rubbing?
A lift would be required to go any bigger.
Those are the Chevy steps right? Do you off road? Can they be used as rock sliders?
Yes they are. I haven't done any serious off roading yet but from my understanding they can be used as rock sliders.
Your dealer is right. Any type of lift kit, engine modification, etc WILL void the warranty.
I had these spacers for over 2 years on my truck with no issues. I don't think they are big enough to cause any real harm.
Is 140ftlbs about equal to 4 to 5 uhgaduggas?
Whit
🤣🤣🤣
Sir, did the tire rub due to the wheel spacer, do you think a 1in wheel spacer will rub?
Wheel spacer for sure. 1” probably wouldn’t rub.
@@HorsePowerObsessed Thank you, ohh and the truck looks AWESOME
Super sharp!
Thank you!
After you toque anything go back around and do them again. The 1st one you do is not set after you are done.
Correct. You should always retorque after 50 to 100 miles when wheels are removed
Will any of this affect bumper-to-bumper warranty
It has i think the factory 15 inch tires on it but where it looks like it has a leveling kit on it iy makes those tires look to small for the truck
you think you can use that same caliper paint to paint your uper control arms red to ??
Probably could! I never thought about that...
i herd the spacers can start to squeak after sometime thats why i went with an actual lift kit on my colorado. it is on my channel if youd like to check it out. I do like the spacers you have on yours
I have nothing against a lift kit, but these spacers were on my truck for over 2 years with no squeaking and no issues at all.
great video. any long term issues with the lift and spacers?
Thanks! I had no issues for the 3 years I had it.
Will you be adding larger tires when you need new tires? 265/70/17's?
With the wheel spacers I don't think anything bigger will fit.
Hey man I know you already got rid of the z71 but did you ever have any problems with the wheel spacers ? I’m thinking of getting some but I plan on towing a bit and putting some weight on my bed
I did not have any issues in the 2 years I had them installed.
Looks great. 140 ft-lbs sounds high, usually its around 97 for aluminum spacers to hubs.
It's supposed to be the same amount that your wheels are torque down to and for the Colorado it calls for 140 ft-lbs.
@@HorsePowerObsessed
It can be trickier than that. I did a Tundra this weekend and the torque spec in the owner manual is 154 for steel wheels and 97 for aluminum. Just sayin. You don't wanna pull the lugs through.
Nope definitely not. The manufacturer of the wheel spacers recommends the same torque that your wheels are OEM so we're all good 👍
@@HorsePowerObsessed
I'm sure you are in spec, but I have to say it makes zero sense that Toyota changes torque based on wheel hub material and Chevy doesn't. Here is the except from toyota.com Tundra manual...
• Have the wheel nuts tightened with a torque wrench as soon as possible after changing wheels.
Steel wheel: 154 ft·lbf (209 N·m, 21.3 kgf·m)
Aluminum wheel: 97 ft·lbf (131 N·m, 13.4 kgf·m)"
I'm not getting the info from Chevrolet I'm getting it directly from the manufacture of the wheel spacers. They suggest going with whatever the spec for your wheels are. The wheels in this case are 140ft-lbs so that's what I used for the spacers. From what you're saying Toyota changes it based on their wheel material but this isn't quite the same situation. I'm going off of manufacture to manufacture specs to ensure everything is good. Last thing I want is to find out the hard way that the wheel spacers weren't torqued down correctly.
Man sweet truck! What size tires are those and what brand
Thank you. Goodyear Duratracs 265/65/17
Link for the fenders?????? Please
Did you have to take apart the strut to place the 1 inch spacer?
No. It goes on top of the assembly.
How are the spacers and level kit holding up? Any changes?
All good! No problems at all! 👍👍
Im looking to put the same exact spacers on my truck. How are they holding up over time? any problems? also how thick are those fender flares off the actual body of the truck. My truck doesn't have the fender flares so Im trying to figure out how much my tires will poke outside the truck. thanks
The wheel spacers were on this truck for almost 2 solid years and never had an issue with them. The fender flares are maybe an inch off the body.
Would the 1 inch fit a 265/70r17? 2016 z71 Colorado
Yes it would.
thinking of going with a 2in spacer I'm on a 6in lift with 20x9 rims with -10 offset. What are your thoughts?
You’ll probably be ok, that 6” lift is no joke.
Did ur tire rub before u added the spacers? And is 2656517 your stock size?
What size tires are you running with the one inch lift and spacers
265/65/17
I am just like mine leave the fog lights witht the chrome guard to balance chromey looks from the headlights edges. That's just me...
To each their own! I thought I liked the chrome there for the same reason until I saw it without it.
Truck looks great! How do you think the spacers would look on stock wheels?
They would still look great! The truck benefits greatly from a wider stance.
HorsePower Obsessed Thanks for the quick reply. Is an alignment needed after spacers?
Great looking truck brother! Quick question, you keep it leveled at one inch or you add the second inch?? Going to get this done on my 2018 LT and right now my front is at 34.50 and the rear is at 35.75. Thanks in advance.
Thank you! I added the 2nd ring to bring it to a 2" level. It looks perfectly level this way.
Do you think it will rub without the spacers? I have a Z71 and it came with 255/65 17. Thinking of putting the 265/65 17 Duratracs. Thanks
No. It will not rub without the spacers.
How is your truck running with the wheel spacers? Have you had any trouble with towing?
Absolutely great! No issues whatsoever. 👍👍

How'd the wheel spacers hold up? I just bought some for my Colorado after my 6" Lift. Gotta space her so my 315/70r17s don't hit the new knuckles 😅
They held up absolutely fine for over two years until I sold the truck.
@HorsePower Obsessed thank you good Sir, the technology for spacers has definitely improved
is there a difference between installing the 2 inch from the 1 inch?
Yes. The 1" top part is pretty easy to install, just slides in on top of the strut and the truck but the bottom 1" spacer goes under the spring. This requires a full strut removal, spring removal, and then reassembly.
How’s your MPG?
Not great but it wasn't bad either. I didn't notice any effects to the MPG from any of the mods I did on the truck.
Looks good.
It would have been great it would have been great to actually see you stripped the spacer in I know it's difficult to do stuff and film at the same time but look for a tripod I would love to see you actually do the whole job give me the paper can't find the video where you're installing the lower spacers would love to see that thanks for a great job

Would you have needed to modify the waffles if you had installed the other spacer for 2” leveling? I am about to do these same mods but my fender flares came on it and really hoping I don’t have to remove them since the adhesive tape was used.
Yes you still have to. I have since installed it and the 1.5" spacers still rub.
HorsePower Obsessed ahh geez. So modifying the waffles didn’t give enough room to keep from rubbing?
Oh yes, they do not rub after modifying the waffles.
