Working on my 97. Yes I have the same upper arms, only running 215/70 15. Yes, I have exhaust. The header helps all rpm range. Awd PLM 4-2-1 2.5" collector. So far so good couple trips in the mud already.

I did the same subframe drop and had issues with torque mount spacer I just shoved it up in there with both bolts loose.
