    The mirror is a great idea! I hear that it's important to maintain eye contact so this can also be practice for using the peripheral vision

      Yes, that is true, eye contact is very important and it sometimes takes some practice looking at the person's eyes rather than their hands

    I've seen videos with interpreters who use an anchor during fingerspelling, and I actually like it because it's a visual cue for me to be reading letters and not signs!

    I'm new to learning asl and I'm so glad that I bumped to your channel, everything you guys talked about in this video made a lot of sense to me..     Thanks Chris, l have to admit that l have trouble with understanding when someone is signing back at me. That's why l love your videos because you do them at different speeds . Is it possible for you to do a birthday video? I would love to sing and sign happy birthday to a friend of mine, but the only signs l am sure of signing are happy, to and you. Thanks ☺

    I can see how bouncing can come of as rude or yelling, or just plain annoying
