- This was by far the toughest and most time consuming track I've covered. It's hardly perfect, though. The video may be a bit weird because I had to make it on a laptop, since my desktop is still in disrepair. I hope you still enjoy it.

Depends who you ask. Some people adore it, others don't care for it at all. I would recommend giving it a try. One thing that's for sure is that the music is awesome.

I don't have sufficient words to describe how surprised I was at how you were able to capture the essence of the original and in some ways....dare I say.....and perhaps this is just my love for 8bit renditions speaking....but the sound at times surpasses the original style. You did Nobuo Uematsu proud! Stunning work! I need to see your repertoire like right this instant!!

Didn't get far in FFVII, so I don't remember much of the music very well. Still, the fact that I don't remember this theme very well doesn't stop this rework from being amazingly good.

seriously, it's a very very good game, hard, tough, but in its time it was a really awesome thing to play. Even now the story and the characters haven't aged a bit ^^.

hertzdevil did some in the akumajou style for castlevania. check out his channel. he did an excellent cross your heart cover. im sure he has more too. personally i want to hear the theme of simon belmont from the bloodlines version of the game redone in vrc6. it think FM synth would translate extremely well to 8-bit espcially using the namco chip

Get the 2012 Pc version and find a patch for the music, if you don't it's gonna be shitty MIDI, but if you can find a patch it makes it just as good as the original version.
