I would take what other women say with a grain of salt. They won’t highlight what coffeecuties pointed out which is that Anok refused to wear weave when she first started working. We’re not “unambiguous” we are black women, the original/authentic ones. It’s unfortunate that many bw don’t like their hair but a lot of us do embrace our hair and I see others starting to.
