      Black women listen up! If, and only if, want to break the generational curse of what our mothers, grandmothers, and back many generation of women have gone through before us, we must think outside the box, and we must take the road less traveled, and we take advantage of all the opportunities we have before us in this day and age. This generation of non black men are not like there fathers, grandfathers, or great grandfathers. This generation of non black men are waaaaaay more open to dating and marrying, and building loving kind romantic relationships with black women like never before. When people tell you that no one wants you, or the only men who will take you are black men know that is a bold face lie. There are about 24.5 Million black women in America and globally over 3.1 Billion men on earth: Black women today in 2022 have more options in picking men of our liking like never before so why not go for it? I mean, what have you got to lose? 🤵🏻🤵🏻👰🏾👰🏾💍💍❤❤💗💗💞💞💖💖

    Neemah that study first came out in 2011 and comes out here and there after every few years. when that study came out I was also somewhat angry, because it was a low point in my life, neglecting myself, physically and mentally. Nowadays,because I am working on myself mentally and physically. I know that I am pretty and I look pretty. Black women got angry because let us be honest, many of us do not take care of ourselves physically and mentally. I keep on saying this, obesity is not pretty, sorry black women, but obesity is unhealthy and very unnattractive to look at. Obesity in my opinion is actually extreme self hate.
    Yes Neemah you are right, the art of silence is important. Some BW chat too damn much, and tell others their business to show off and end up flat on their face. Hobbies and activities are very important for self growth and if you network with the right people you can got places you've only dreamt of. It is so to hear tips on how I ,, me personally as a BW can level up

      Thank you Lin for mentioning that if first came out in 2011 but there was another one in 2018 and I remember black women were so upset. I am happy to see that you are a bigger enough person to admit your mistake. Because most of black peoples it either their way or the high way and they are never wrong it always someone else’s fault. Yes and we do chat way too much and can be used against us 😐😐🌚

    I often hear people say that black women are beautiful facially, have beautiful bodies, are confident, are strong, are funny and are smart. I was surprised to know when I went to the US that some people disrespect black women’s looks including so called pseudo studies that don’t seem scientific at all. I am sure many people in the US also believe black women are great, high level, smart, beautiful women and currently there is a tanning and non western, exotic features, body types trend.

He pulled the guy aside and said we all in here doing this work and these officers do not know your mom. I learned a listen that day. No one does not care to upset you plus they don't know you. I currently live in a upperclass neighborhood with doctors and higher rank military families and I learned the hard way not to be too nice😅 I always tried to wave to my neighbors and they just acted like how dare me lol and just make faces at me literally make faces.. Also all the caucasian moms always group up aswell and have never tried welcoming me. It's only the females that treat me like that too🙃 it's the same exact way at my sons private preschool. I just learning to stop being nice lol
    Maybe it's because I'm still young living in a half a million dollar house idkk.

    I think your advice is great, however, saying "we" have no standards is NOT everyone. It may be where your at of what your seeing on TV. But all black women are not included in that "we".

    I know this video is kind of old, but I'm very curious to learn about this "study" of how unattractive Black women are. An article/discussion, even a poll about people's opinions on this topic, is one thing, but an actual "scientific study" is something totally different. I am very curious about how scientists conducted a study about something such as beauty. How was it measured? How was it analyzed? Scientists deal with facts. Maybe it was a psychology study?? Because that would make more sense. Well, Google, here I come to satisfy my curiosity about this study this woman speaks of.

    I think it’s unfair to say black woman have no standards, I think some don’t but many black mothers instill standards in their girls however typically young people think that the thinking of those that come before them is backward and slow.
    No women In my family wouldn’t go out in public not being put together. There are black communities where that is acceptable but it’s not the way. Black women are often disappointed but the key is us not Holding up our standards.

    • @NeemahSpeaks
      @NeemahSpeaks  3 роки тому +8

      Nope black mothers hold their girls at a higher standards while baby their sons. The truth is that black women expect the bare minimum as a whole and that's a fact

    I agree with most points especially a lot of us accepting less and having little to no standards. It's cringey, disappointing and very unfortunate that you keep saying 'we' and 'us'. Not all of us have our feelings hurt easily and I really can't think of another race that has to have tougher skin to survive in this world than a black woman. I'd correct that to having anger issues and not channeling their anger in a more civil manner. The 'we' and 'us' certainly does not speak to a lot of us, it speaks mostly to 'us' of certain socio economic backgrounds. It sounds harsh but its the truth. Their main concern is survival. Survival with the little resources, add to that poverty, rape, prevalent crime rate etc. Those are mostly the ones dressing in a night dress and bed slippers heading out. I don't know if I'm being understood but I hope you get the gist of what I'm trying to say. Other than that, you're on point.
