Nurburgring HOTLAP in a Porsche GT4 Clubsport

- I'm at the Nurburgring for a hotlap in the Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport with GetSpeed and KW Mobile. During the VLN 6 weekend there's an opportunity for drivers to take passengers out for a lap and in my case that meant jumping into the race version of my road car.
After returning to the pit lane, Boosted Boris and I go for a walk around and explore - with a bit of explanation for what the VLN is actually all about and how it works.

Most people won't appreciate how thrilling it is to be driven around a track like that at race speed... feels way faster in person and the geforce is crazy.
It's because you're not in control and you feel it but don't know what's coming up. Was looking forward to a full lap though, a bit disappointed.
***** lol funnily enough i'm not, never have been. I am always really quiet on roller coasters and wonder what makes people scream. Going around a race track at race speed is far more thrilling than any roller coaster though :D

Fantastic video. The lap was absolutely crazy. My heart was beating fast watching/imagining how amazing it would be to experience that. I have to agree with a previous post stating how you present your videos, giving a wide spectrum of the cars, experience, etc. Well done.

When the 911 passed on track and then jumped over the hump was awesome,and the speed really came across in this which it never usually does in other films.

The GT4 Club Sport looks way more beautiful than the GT4.Fully stripped out with the classic fuel tank cover in the middle of the bonnet like classic 911s and a full on roll cage.Insane.

No, it's like the GT3 clubsport. It's not street legal, track use only.
edit: There is a GT3 Clubsport, but what I was actually thinking was the GT3 Cup... the GT4 Clubsport is more like the GT3 Cup.

That was a 991 Cup car, I'd say the difference is like that between the two cars. The GT3 cars are even faster and leave the Cup car for dead
The GT4's are fun, but in pure performance terms they don't get near a GT3. I have come up against a few (GT4's) at track days and was surprised how much quicker the GT3 was.

Why did you use so much footage from the camera youre holding instead of just using the fixed camera? Every time you switched to the fixed camera i liked it a lot more
