Jonathan, I have a question- What was the original intended use of the Dragons breathe shotgun rounds?? To me they seem pretty useless. I would like to know about it
Not as common in real life as games they are more a novelty shell, they have no real documented official usage besides hey Guys check this out let’s set that thing covered in gas on fire
From what I heard, they had some (possibly only proposed) use in quickly setting off backburns in wildfire management situations. (Basically, burning down some section of the forest that's in the way of an advancing wildfire in a controlled manner, to deny that advancing wildfire more fuel)
Man, it's such a shame that he didn't react to the KSG and SRM 1212. They're such interesting guns with unique magazine systems. Hope there's a part 2!
17:00 there's actually extremely old footage of someone using something like this in an attempt to make a jetpack. They did have a shield just like he said, but the guys back caught fire anyway and a bunch of people put it out with snow. Look "The First Flying Machines - Failures and Mishaps" to see it.
I'd recommend having Jonathan take a look at the weapons in Payday 2. Quite a variety most of which are, to my mind at least, well modeled. And plenty of...interesting options. Loving the series so far, keep up the great work!
Hey John that hook on the yaran's scope was for brace cable's in the side doors oh a heli i think, seen a video on sumali pirates were they were using a barrett with a similar contraption
I know its more of a reach but Jonathan reacting to Destiny 2 weapons would be cool as well. Think Bungie does a great job in keeping some stuff grounded but also some crazy space weaponry.
I would love to see Jonathan react to the guns of Killing floor 2. Specifically the doomstick, the quad barrel shotgun you can fire all four chambers at once with.
"Making a DIY sniper scope from some random metal tube & lenses, & then, creating an aiming crosshair by drawing one on the scope with a Sharpie..." How much more hilarious could that be?!!!
Regarding gun heating like he talks about near 10:30, I think it's time he saw Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad's machineguns and their barrel-changing mechanics.
17:29 good thing in phoenix point the rocket launchers are used by those wearing heavy armor and the thing is also moving itself above the head in a position where the backblast is only gonna hit people behind you.
Hi, that was really cool watching and listening to. Being myself a seasoned gamer and liking games like FarCry (shooter in general) I enjoyed seeing through your eyes the reals and fantasies games bring to us. Thank you kindly for this.
One thing I didn't see him comment on was the BP-2/VHS-2 is a left handed bullpup(I believe), because the ejection port is on the left side of the gun which would spew hot brass into your face if you shot it right handed.
Despite some of the classic Ubisoft issues that are in Far Cry 6, I was thoroughly surprised by the weapons’ look, feel, and animations, they did great on that.
It’s crazy to me to see the direction the Far Cry series has gone in. Like, I remember building my first PC with my earnings from my summer job in ‘04 and the OG Far Cry came with my GeForce video card, and even though it had some zany sci-fi baddy shenanigans, it took the shooting and action fairly seriously. @@treefingers6572 they only got a d in lock on.
So happy that the recoil on the FAL was mentioned. I was watching someone stream this game and it was the first thing I noticed.
If his brain is being fried from FarCry 6's guns, we need to see how he reacts to FarCry: New Dawn's weapons! They are even weirder than these ones.
Facts!😂
Best part of the homemade reflex sight, is that (and I just now noticed this) the lens is actually the top half of an old flip phone
Great video, even after watching Forgotten Weapons for years religiously, I still learn something new from these every time ;)
honestly one of my favourite series on youtube
Breaking down the supremo was the funniest. He tried so hard to make it plausible lol
I couldn’t even imagine a world without Jonathan !
Thank you Jonathan for sharing your knowledge !!!!
"What it can't do is put itself out. There's not a little... miniature team of firemen... uh firefighters... running down the barrel and putting out the flame."
Gaviscon Firefighters: "Allow us to introduce ourselves."
Just noticed, but the glass part of the RDS on the Groza looks like the screen part of an old flip phone xD
It is, the bottom of the phone is affixed to the can somehow.
I would love to see Jonathan analyze the guns from Farcry BloodDragon. Its the perfect collection of 80s action movie guns and it would be a great way to check out the more unique stuff from the Farcry games
Titanfall weapons would be cool to see more specifically number 2 or apex weapons which are the same with a few additions
Borderlands 3:Huhahaha:)
9:18 Are we not going to mention the adorable croc with the shirt?
Johnathon: "I can't believe I'm even suggesting this... PLEASE don't recreate this at home."
Colin Furze: *Awkwardly glances at his shed.*

I've noticed Far Cry does a really good job on almost nailing the accuracy of weapons in a fictional world. They did it extremely well with this one, especially the end.
Key word: almost
There's a couple of cursed ones
@@yapflipthegrunt4687 yeah but far cry now just feels wrong without something that’s cursed
Jonathan, I have a question-
What was the original intended use of the Dragons breathe shotgun rounds?? To me they seem pretty useless. I would like to know about it
Purely a pyrotechnic recreational thing as far as I know.
They set shit on fire.
a website that i found selling them advertises them as signaling devices
I’m so glad they used the FPSRussia clip for the dragons breath rounds
17:00 there's actually extremely old footage of someone using something like this in an attempt to make a jetpack. They did have a shield just like he said, but the guys back caught fire anyway and a bunch of people put it out with snow. Look "The First Flying Machines - Failures and Mishaps" to see it.
I can't wait to see his reaction to Vanguard. I hope he doesn't literally die
He may just self-combust from the sight of a full-auto Lee Enfield.

@@lonewolf-grs what about the disabled dog? Could they reload the gun?

I'd recommend having Jonathan take a look at the weapons in Payday 2. Quite a variety most of which are, to my mind at least, well modeled. And plenty of...interesting options.
Loving the series so far, keep up the great work!
He just did one if you haven't seen it yet
Far Cry usually names this weapon, the SAW @ 14:50. I love it
I would definitely like to see more of him reviewing more of the weapons in this game.
6:14
Man, look how they massacred New Dawn's saw launcher
*improved
but... macarena...
Hey John that hook on the yaran's scope was for brace cable's in the side doors oh a heli i think, seen a video on sumali pirates were they were using a barrett with a similar contraption
always thought helicopter shooting would be some master-level without something like that
@@w0rloko they use tracers and red dot sights for sniping out of helicopters, and it's still kinda spray and pray.
"Just being a Shotgun doesn't make something super powerful"

YOU TAKE THAT BACK RIGHT NOW!!!
Shotguns are weak. (͡ ~ ͜ʖ ͡ °)
I know its more of a reach but Jonathan reacting to Destiny 2 weapons would be cool as well. Think Bungie does a great job in keeping some stuff grounded but also some crazy space weaponry.
Jonathan F.: "Please don't try this at home"
Colin Furze: 👉👈
Didn’t he do it with fireworks instead of warheads
I would love to see Jonathan react to the guns of Killing floor 2. Specifically the doomstick, the quad barrel shotgun you can fire all four chambers at once with.
"Mom can we have VHS?"
"Nosotras tenemos VHS en casa!"
VHS at home
Death machine vhs
Would be interesting to see a reaction of the Killzone series weapons, especially the Bullpup cylinder magazines.
That bit of glass on the Groza optic is the top half of a flip-cell I think. Magnificent.
I wanna see Jonathan's reaction to Destiny 2 weapons, particularly scout rifles due to the.....impossible magazine placement on most of them
"Making a DIY sniper scope from some random metal tube & lenses, & then, creating an aiming crosshair by drawing one on the scope with a Sharpie..."
How much more hilarious could that be?!!!
"This is the best modeled M16 I've seen in a video game."
ALSO
"This gun fires CDs at supersonic velocities."
Ahhh, FarCry.
those cd's looks similar to DeWalts metal grinder wheels.
Regarding gun heating like he talks about near 10:30, I think it's time he saw Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad's machineguns and their barrel-changing mechanics.
Hi from Croatia, love the vids. Keep going strong.
Loved your knowledge of weapons and interest in pointing out the details!
I would love to watch a full 20 minute video of Jonathan just talking about his favorite guns
Vanguard is going to have him in tears with the Monstrosities you can make in it
"That feels like a fate worse than death"
And you know what, it would be, if death weren't also included in such a tragic fate... truly nothing worse
I'd love to see him tackle Payday 2!
he must see the shorty thanatos
It's cool to see the VHS-2 in a videogame finally.
PAYDAY 2 has had one since ~2016 I think, but yeee seeing it in more media is always nice
Insurgency sand storm also has that. and if you know the game, you know it's detailed as hell

Please react to the “Crysis“ series. It has some really interesting weapons.
That would be awesome
Especially since the Remastered Trilogy is out soon.
One thing I didn't see him comment on was the BP-2/VHS-2 is a left handed bullpup(I believe), because the ejection port is on the left side of the gun which would spew hot brass into your face if you shot it right handed.
17:12
Jonathan: "Please don't re-create this at home...:|"
Colin Furze: "Done!"
what if shotguns RPM includes the pellets? Sure it would be weird, but on video the gun shoots slowly, but uses pellets.
Despite some of the classic Ubisoft issues that are in Far Cry 6, I was thoroughly surprised by the weapons’ look, feel, and animations, they did great on that.
The Vietnam m16 has a 30 round mag but still holds 20 and it angers me
Would love to see Jonathan react to the weapons in Perfect Dark or from The Order 1886
I haven't watched all of these videos yet, but this has been the most positive so far... and by a long shot.
Oh well, gotta keep fresh, I suppose!
