Tip of the day!!!!! -------- If you open the EFB while you are in flight, and open the approach plate for your destination airport, as you approach, your aircraft icon will fly on to the map and you can track your position and see the assigned altitude as you pass each waypoint! Wow! If this was in the EFB before the last update, I did not notice it, but having seen it, I would say that it is really awesome!
Question. Adjusting passengers, cargo & fuel. A slider with percentsges is not easy as typing 200 passengers on A321 plane. Same for cargo. Hard to match simbrief when sim.brief give exact weight in pounds and EFB has cargo in a percent slider?
Thanks for the video Mark (Marc?) Do you happen to know how to upload the flight plans in career mode? I’m doing 2-3 hour cargo missions and would love to upload custom flights so I can try setting up VNAV mode but the option to upload is greyed out and I can’t click it.
It's Marc, thanks for asking :) You can't upload your own flight plan as far as I know for career mode. I think it has to do with the way they designed it, it keeps you on rails to know how to evaluate you.
What should also be mentioned on this video is simbrief is not available to use on the Xbox version.of MSFS 2024. Sadly Xbox users always seem to be forgotten!
Looking forward to seeing you revisit once the EFB is "ironed out" a bit more. Thanks for the video(s)!
Yep we’ll do a full flight planning guide once things stabilize.

Yep I show it in the video, but it was buggy when I tried it
You’re explaining this so weird.. I don’t understand can you explain better

For airliners, use simbrief and import it via the plane's EFB (not the one that's in all the planes).
Do you have to have a subscription to navighraph/simbrief for this?
SImbrief no, Navigraph yes. I'm really enjoying the combination of simbrief for planning but then using the tablet's charts.

@ that sucks, you would think considering you own the company you could plan the routes! Oh well, maybe they will patch it later.
It was mentioned in the Twitch live feed yesterday so maybe it will be implemented at some point.
@@hammerpgh Thanks !

That is pretty crummy indeed :( I play on PC so had no idea
Yes it's a shame it's not available and I'm hoping this new tool can go some way to replacing it for us Xbox simmers.
Certain planes like A321 airbus does import sim brief on xbox msfs2024. Sure other planes as well.
But not like in video right within efb.
Hey I was wondering if you can import a flight plan mid flight into the g1000 flight plan?
I don't see why not, but you can also just reconfigure the G1000 manually in flight as well.
I could not read any of the maps they were really grainy and incomplete
