These 2 minutes is exactly what I've always wanted to see ever since I was like a 9 year old kid, what the POV was of the average trooper during Geonosis.
Love how the sand clouds cover the droids for most of it. Really adds to the theme of Geonosis being such a stunning opening to the war that these clones weren't prepared for despite their years of training.
They weren't prepared for it because they were trained to fight competently. The idea that their generals were utterly incompetent morons had simply never been something that had been considered.

Imagine using Clone Commandos, specialists who go in enemy territory to perform dangerous missions like sabotage and assassinations, as regular footsoldiers. Because that is what the Jedi did.
I've just played it, and the sense of immersion is more breathtaking than in the latest Battlefront games. Keep working on it dude, add different models of droids as B2, droidekkas, Spider droids. Walking Vehicles would be so great !! Thank for the experience dude !!

Respect for your passion. This looks immersive! The sound design, the lighting, the graphics in general are amazing and remind me of (a visually improved) Battlefront 2015. I found the first game to be more immersive than Battlefront 2 2017. The graphics were better, with a better lighting system and the sound design was also superior. So this reminds me of my favorite Star Wars game. I'm impressed.
So i have recently been playing galactic contention on squad, and this really reminds me of it. Really awesome. I love how the better star wars battlefronts are coming out of the woodwork now, showing EA that we will take care of it ourselves thank you very much
It's pretty cool seeing the lasers piercing clouds of dust on the planet, actually almost spooky. I play a lot of Contractors VR, the Battlefront II mod, and one of the craziest fights I witnessed was like this but on a snow map, we were a battalion of Clones pushing up a hill towards a droid controlled point. The wind and ice made it impossible to see, but you start getting better at aiming for the source of lasers. We were RP yelling up that damn hill and it was one of my favorite firefights in gaming 😂 I would love to see more of this, get a look at the droid army ^^
I REALLY hope this becomes a full game and that we see more of this soon! This looks incredible. It would be epic if we see this, but covering every blaster fight from the Clone Wars through to the end of the Galactic Empire, maybe even with a survival mode or a sandbox mode where you can create your own scenarios

Omg this is the Starwars battlefront original battle of Genosis I always wanted, I love the detail how the rifles are semi-auto as they are rifles not ARs and the immersive sand blowing and how you get dropped off and how your squads stick together as units instead of just ramboing off by themselves and its exactly like in the movie scene where all you could see was flashing of enemy fire indicating their general position and you had to stand firm and fire or be picked off.
What is this beautiful masterpiece I have just stumbled upon this is amazing. I am filled with so much Nostalgia right now thank you. Ever since I saw AoTC in theaters I always wanted a game with this style of play, Thank you!!

This could be the start of something big fantastic work. I was gonna say squad starwars mod should add this but you keep this unique helmet hud it’s amazing and immersive.
The clones in this scene were using infra-red vision that's my only quirk about this game. They could see their targets and so could the droids but their sensors would be messed up and would be relying on droid commanders to direct fire on the clones. Phase 1 Clone Trooper armor is definitely my favorite, they look so much more bad ass.
Several things to say, first, funny how I discovered this. I was looking up gameplay for a mod that I have been searching for (because the website everyone uses and link it is dead) and only now did I get it, so I feel better about watching others play it knowing I have it also Second, this literally looks like it came straight from the shot of one of the scenes in the second episode, the strutting of the clones, the lighting of the blaster fire with the dusty fog, big name dev comps should really take notes Third, thanks for providing a working link to the mod which moments after typing “which” I turned my head to see the download complete. And fourth, to all who have not downloaded this yet, do so fast before Disney do their greedy, shady acts on something like this (as they did with other Star Wars related things that were cancelled as they gained control, battlefront 3 and the clone wars come to mind)

I feel like I could get ptsd from just watching this. And seeing this from a clones perspective makes me realize the horrors of the battle of geonosis, especially with no jedi in sight.
Honestly, this seems to prefer immersion over fun factor. Doesn’t help that this is a mil-sim game. I guarantee you that you will barely find enemies due to the maps being too large.
The HUDs very reminiscent of of those used in some 90s games, where they take up all of your peripheral vision at the cost as what I guess you could say immersion.
