A childhood fan of the Yellow Wall led his club to their first major title in 4 years, then almost to a league title, which we lost on the final day, and to defeat in the CL final in his first 3 years of senior coaching. All this with an intense but inconsistent style of play.... Yes, that sounds like Peak Dortmund. Of course, his style of play wasn't always attractive, but the intensity and passion he showed for his boyhood club was impressive. To be honest, he's the greatest human being I've ever seen in the world of football. It happens that players play for their favourite childhood club, but how often do you see that (with success) with coaches?
The attention to detail to change your press trigger based on GK strong foot is so good. It sounds so obvious when he says it but having the awareness to drill it into your players is key. Continue to love this channel and thank you to Edin for this, look forward to PT.2 !
A bvb fan here. I honestly think he is very underrated and has been treated very unfairly. He is probably one of the best young coach with the best opposition counter tactics in the world right now. One day he will be on par with Ancelotti / Mourinho. Also his passion for BVB was real. A huge loss for BVB for letting him go.
If Adeyemi could finish, BVB would've won comfortably against Real. They had a horrible first half and BVB could even lead 2:0 until then. He's a very underrated and incredibly well-spoken manager.
A tactical masterpiece in the first leg, also a very good second leg, where BVB needed some luck to get through it, but with the quality of PSG you always need a bit of luck on your side.. I'm also excited to see Terzic coach another team..
I know its kinda tough but if possible try to have both managers discussing against each other ..whoever possible because that will be very exciting than just hearing 1part of the story
Brilliant. I am not a fan of 50/50 defending though. Either you go all out to close out the short passes off the pitch or you just sit back. 50/50 needs a lot of intelligence and fitness from the player.
I suppose Terzic has a good tactical understanding of the game. But I always think coaches who have never performed on a professional level will always have a disadvantage. It's true: Coaching and playing are different activities. But if someone was a soccer professional, he knows the perspective of the players so much better and can better empathise with them.
High-level football certainly takes into account all those detailed tactics. However, in rather chaotic situations these tactics all go to waste. Not to mention, all those tactics takes away from the pleasure of watching a game. Football is not Formula 1 and we shouldn't be drown in detail.
Ok I watched the first 20 seconds and already now he isn't the right coach for Roma. If you want to safe your Career I advise you to stay away. Our Players are lazy and don't want to work hard. High Pressing and intensity is something they hate.
Don't be fooled. The key was Edin Terzic's black magic.
Danke für alles Edin🖤💛
There is the 9 elixer dark Wizard we call him „ den ewigen Edin“
Eternal Edin
terzic black magic

Borussia vs Atletico was honestly one of the most exciting CL games I've seen in a while, well done
Thanks coach for giving me one of the best football match I've ever watched (first leg) as a Dortmund and football fan.
Edin Terzic. Class Act, even at this age. Future of football looks good with guys like him. Danke!

Agree first half dortmund dominated the game
@@hateprotossReal Madrid are inevitable
Preparation is crazy…
THE GOAT
His insight into the opposition is really impressive! Could be succesfull if he's given the chance somewhere imho.
Edin come back 🖤💛
My coach
Its more then Black magic... I loved him at Dortmund and as a Fan I hope, that he Comes back one time
Dudes a BRILLIANT big game coach.
Dortmunder Jungs wir sind alle Dortmunder Jungs 💛🖤
Ewiger Edin danke für alles 💪🏼🖤💛
Good way of gauging distance from a mid-block - be closer to the man than the ball as the ball travels faster 👌🏼
Thank you Edin, for everything you did!
Just play Edin Terzic describing the gegenpress at my funeral
Amazing coach
World Class Coach!
Edin, I miss you so much:((🖤💛
underrated Coach
so brave and young coach, i was so sad for him when he lost the title in the last matchday and then the ucl final
Schade das er gehen musste, es liegt bei uns schon lange nicht mehr am Trainer.🥲
I am impressed.
If not for the wasted chances it would have been such a story for them winning UCL ❤ Hope they get there with Sahin

Sheeesh, Edin
You added the ball pin ?! Nice 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I wish I could like this videao more than once
Als Fan schon auf der Tribüne ♥
The trick was to have excellent defenders like hummels, Schlotterbeck , Süle, and to rent players like Sancho and Maatsen.
World Class coach. Hopefully soon at a new club
please drop part 2
IRONS
Great episode! It was a real shame he left Dortmund and isnt coaching another club.
One day... 🖤💛

Löwe 🦁
Edin. Come back. Please. :,(
Terzic there are a lot of tears currently at Manchester United can you please come and dry them i can't take it anymore.
If Ten Hag is sacked, this man could be a good choice for MU
I wish this was Edin's Tactics against Madrid Final
If only they'd taken the chances and scored

Shortlist man united ❤
Adeyemi and Fullkrug robbed him of being a UCL winning manager😞
No Emre Can.
Füllkrug was Amazing
Adeyemi sold 2 easy chances
1v1 missed
Real Borussen💛
Bring Carlo Ancelotti next. For his last game against City at the Etihad. That will only take 6min l bet you😅😅😅
dunno why this guy lost his job that to from a club that keeps their coaches longer even if there's slow progression
he did not lose his job he quit, get your facts right
They played so bad in Bundesliga. There was no way they would keep going far in UCL with him.
Would you like to be manager at Manchester united?
In Spanish please

Leicester should get him
Terzic destroyed football manager with that switch of formation when psg has goal kicks
abel ferreira botafogo 3 palmeiras 4 pls 🙏
They dont even know why they beat psg.
