Nah stop Liverpool fans definitely don't underrate the skipper. As of rival fans we don't care damn abt them, they will keep barking while my captain will lift them trophies 👀
I can tell you are not from the UK. because if you were you would know that all (genuine) Liverpool fans have always rated Henderson. His stats back up his performances anyway so opinions don't even come into it.
@Tahmid Ahmed I'm not sure I agree. Pep said that they aim at unpredictability in the press/chase. This includes attacking play. Our team attacks with a lot of freedom allowing Thiago, Trent, Robbo, Salah, Mane and Diaz to express themselves. The issue with previous styles was that you would get entire teams focussed on a creative 10 that dictated all the play. Wonderfully skilled and entertaining, but easily shut down by defensive teams. This era of Klopp and Pep seems an energised version of Michel's total football with teams able to attack from multiple areas and situations.
This is why Henderson is one of the key players in this team . He is practically a coaches's dream player. He plays as instructed and convey the message from the manager and coaches to this players . He leads the press , he sets the tempo .. even Robbo said Henderson is the tempo setter in the team . Lovely insight from Pep and with Klopp signing an extension till 2026 which is the best piece of news today , I'm glad Pep and the other coaches are with us as well.

His job is to facilitate everyone else doing what makes them great, and he is incredible at that.
Yes! That's because once Messi has the ball you're already in trouble! They stopped his supply lines. And when he did get the ball they swarmed him and bumped him off of it. Most Defenders are too scared of messy and end up giving him the extra yard of space he needs to work his magic. But if you get in his face he can't handle it. Robbo ruffling his hair while he was sat on the ground was a moment that perfectly summed up this match.
Exactly! I will remember that, when people complain about Ferran Torres. He may have terrible finishing at the moment but he does so much off the ball.

Pep is a perfectionist, look how he moved the circles. When he flipped them at 21:20 Vidal and Coutinho, he put them back instead of leaving it like that because to be honest, it makes no difference they both are orange but in his head the circles have names.... Very interesting mind!
I was like why doesn’t he just leave them, they are all the same 😂. It goes to show how a coach’s mind work as opposed to the SM “experts” and pundits who just spew nonsense online.
No, see there is difference. The orange buttons represent the players positions through a timeline, so if he had left Vidal's orange piece out of its original position after a movement, then thats technically wrong because that would mean he doesnt return to original position and his position has changed. He can avoid it by reiterating all the changed player representations of the pieces, after every time he moved them explaining a pattern or scenario, which is obviously more tedious than just moving the pieces back to their original positions, which he did and is nothing extraordinary imo.

Perfect timing lads to post this after Jurgen Klopp extended his contact at Liverpool by 2026. Which also means we get more Pep Lijnders on bench. I love this Liverpool team
I feel like this game signaled a real changing of the guard in European football. Barcelona’s technical and majestic style was mesmerizing for years, but Klopp and Lijnders crushed it with controlled and directed intensity. Seeing this game in the Barca documentary is very telling - they had no answers for Liverpool on the day. Incredible game and wonderfully explained here by Pep
My favorite masterclass yet. Pep doesn't get hung up on the numbers game or the zones or the play patterns. He really emphazises more abstract concepts, that we all recognize from experience and not theory. He talks about attitude, passion, emotion, doubt. This is real football how it was meant to be played! Up the reds!

❤ I was thinking the same thing 😮😅😊. His thinking process is clear, precise, and was such an incredible amount of attention to detail. He’s also calm and compassionate about it. I love Liverpool.
Personally I want him to succeed Klopp. I hope the 2yr extension really develops his personality. Looks like a well liked and very smart figure within the club.
It’s a 2yr WITH option for longer (most likely an extra extra 2-3 years) so he will probably have longer than 2026 to really develop Into the next lfc manager
Every Liverpool stakeholder contributed that night in 2019( Fans, staff, coaches, owners, vendors, etc.) Klopp said to the boys, "we may not make it through, but winning the game will feel extra special. Go and enjoy yourselves." However, the adrenaline flowing through the boys' veins exploded that night after the second goal. All of a sudden, winning the game was not enough. Every Liverpool fan in every corner of the world felt it. So, this is the more reason to face Villarreal with the same vigor that we dumped Barça. We cannot and should not play with any less intensity. YNWA. I love this club.
personally think this is the man to eventually take over from Jurgen. He has such a good understanding of the club and the style of play. Yes Gerrard would be nice to see but I think this is the move that makes more sense and would work better
Not even only them, Vito Matos is one of the best youth developers, the staticians and the scouts that recruited the likes of Robbo, Wignaldum, Matip, Fabinho, recently Jota, Konate and Diaz.

Tbh, the reason why I love first rounds of the league cup is because of Pep press conferences and interviews, I love how he talks about football I love his passion, you can see it in his eyes, it's like he's full of fire when he explains some football phenomenon. That's why Jurgen called him in his new contract interview " The Energizer", because he is for real , and you can see it in training videos he loves what he's doing and everybody loves him. I'M LOVE WITH OUR COACHING TEAM. AND I FEEL FINE :)
This game was the greatest thing I've ever seen on a football pitch. It was an extraordinary effort from the team. It still brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it.
United Fan but I truly appreciate & fully endulge in tactics & explanations of the beautiful game 👏🏽👏🏽 sometimes just watching the game isn't enough...knowing the process, logic & reasonings behind a masterclass is art in itself!
Best one yet, incredible how well drilled the Liverpool players are when you lose a key player in Salah but the guy they’ll start instead knows exactly what he needs to do and where he needs to be.
''you cannot show emotion on a tactics board'' something that's really true and that we Barca lack. Still respect to Pool after these two games, we didn't show any emotion or character that game
This is priceless, that the coatch and the ideia since the beggining 4 years ago its the same, repetition, repetition, repetition.....this is the only way that a team can improve.
What I find crazy is that the entire starting 11, the reserves, the under 23s etc all buy into this idea and style of play. It's instilled deeply in each and every one of them. All 11 players on the pitch have to work together, chase together, fight together for this system to work and they did it and still doing it. With Anfield behind them, no team in the world can stop that Liverpool team.
Wow. This wasn’t just a masterclass of tactics. But a masterclass on the importance of mentality, training philosophy, passion and desire. What Jurgen and his team have done is unbelievable. YNWA.
It is comforting that even if Klopp leaves eventually in 2026 or thereafter, he will be able to pass the baton to Lijnders who is more than competent to take over the helm. Stevie G can then come back to be an assistant coach to learn the LFC philosophy and tactics.
There was an indescribable aura that evening that you almost forget just how much the incredible play contributed to that relentless passion and belief ❤️ Such a good insight
Pep speaks with so so much passion and you can just tell he respects and acknowledges the players for their quality and high standards. Love how he switches Vidal back to the right even though the chess pieces are all the same!!
This is incredible strategic and tactical analysis of the game. I had to go and watch the highlight again to see all his explanations. The keys words are 'steal the ball' and make them play in our own way not theirs. If you force your opponent to give ball away and make mistake, you will definitely win games. The first goal and second goal explain it all.
He previously failed in his first stint as a manager. No doubt he’s grown since then but I think the opportunity to work with Klopp is better for him than managing his own team.
Great insight, lovely to see this details, Liverpool was a barbaric team on that season, the team changed a lot to nowadays team, but some of these topics still very clear to see on them, they matured, changed but didn't lost some of these key aspects. I would say that the 2018 team would steamrolled you and that the 2022 team will knock you down, let you think you can get up and then knock you down again and again and again.
@@super_organist they havemt evolved from geggenpressing, they are now better at possesion and if you have the ball then you dont have to press as much as before. But the press is still there and it is the best in the world right now

What is the name of the documentary, I would love to see it

My favorite masterclass yet. Pep doesn't get hung up on the numbers game or the zones or the play patterns. He really emphazises more abstract concepts, that we all recognize from experience and not theory. He talks about attitude, passion, emotion, doubt. This is real football how it was meant to be played!
Up the reds!
He is fantastic. Klopp was saying yesterday that is there anything in football that he doesn't know?
has been instrumental in adding control to our game. was worried when we lost buvac and his attacking patterns but lijnders has allowed the team to go up another level and play in a way that is more sustainable across the season.
Huge credit to Klopp and Pep that we haven't appeared to miss Buvac
@@Sheeezus But I'm afraid it's just a matter of time before teams admiring our philosophy will come tempting Pep to leave as they did Buvac..
@@nabsyb2610 Buvac and Klopp werent at best terms when he left. Otherwise Buvac would have stayed. I wish Buvac was there for the final with Real in 2018. When he left before the final i got scared a bit
What Liverpool has done without spending crazy like United or City is just amazing. Absolute pleasure to watch ❤️
Nice timing, Klopp signs an extension and here's his assistance Pep doing the tactics of one of our best comebacks in recent history🙌
I still love our comeback vs bvb a bit more. As that was a sign of things to come. Or comeback vs Norwich. Mayhem
I wouldn’t mind if gerrard was a manager for Liverpool in the future. But why does he have to be klopps successor? Let pep have it. Look at shanks and paisley
My Top 3 Liverpool comebacks
1. Miracle at Istanbul
2. Anfield Offensive of 2019
3.Stevie G Screamer of FA cup 2006.
side note: I don't know if Conchesky's Cross is intended or accidental in that 2006 FA Cup Final. 😅
i love this game.
missing salah and firmino.
robbo came off injured and gini came in.
insane instensity on 1st half and emotion erupts in 3-0 on second half.
AND THEN TRENT-ORIGI GENIOUS MOMENT HAPPEN.
god i love this team.
Love the whole series but it would be nice if the managers also talk about the game where they faced a loss, so that they can explain what they could have done different.
There are more real life lessons than football lessons in this presentation. One thing stands out for me. Success is not accidental.
This match will always have a special place in my heart. And that Corner taken Quickly goal too.
Am a city fan ... but this isn't about Liverpool...but football at large ...the idea of having a goal and believing that anything is possible....is just heart warming...
Incredible insight to what hendo offers to the team. So underrated.
Insted of defending the strikers feomm shooting liverpool defends those why build the game for the opponent starting feom their keeper.
The real Pep..!
Exactly. Look at Shanks and Paisley. Gerrard can have it one day but let pep be the successor for Jurgen
Jurgens came out and said he wants pep to be his successor
‘The Worst thing in football is doubt’ 🙌🏽🔥
Villarreal are pushovers, we can beat them in our sleep
personally think this is the man to eventually take over from Jurgen. He has such a good understanding of the club and the style of play. Yes Gerrard would be nice to see but I think this is the move that makes more sense and would work better
Jurgen gets all the praise and attention when it really is a combined effort from Pep and Jurgen. Best coaching duo in football💯
Not even only them, Vito Matos is one of the best youth developers, the staticians and the scouts that recruited the likes of Robbo, Wignaldum, Matip, Fabinho, recently Jota, Konate and Diaz.
aside from his obvious genius detail obsession, his contagious enthusiasm and postive vibe....actually what I loved most are his pronounciation of players' names. Barca no5 from now will be BUSH-CAT for me forever. I really felt it
What an impressive team. Imagine facing a side who are more likely to score than you even when you have the ball. Nightmare.
I could listen to him talk tactics all day
Excellent from Pep Ljinders! I can still remember the raw emotion of that match. It felt like we had won the trophy that night.
True, i fealt like that too. That game was way bigger than the final. When i watched the final all i did was wait for it to end and see us lift the trophy
I love watching Pep explain tactics. His joy is contagious. So glad he and the coaching staff extended their contracts.
I'm so glad that Pepjin is a red!
So glad he’s here until 2026.
Respect to him for giving Messi so much credit especially at 20:12
First time getting excited about something pertaining Liverpool.(I'm a city fan)
This is priceless, that the coatch and the ideia since the beggining 4 years ago its the same, repetition, repetition, repetition.....this is the only way that a team can improve.
This video shows how important Hendo is to this Liverpool team and why he is our captain 🔥
Just unreal knowledge that you gain from this.
Klopp is here to stay and his coaching staff. Brilliant news 🙌
YNWA.
That's why Pep is the best football coach
It is comforting that even if Klopp leaves eventually in 2026 or thereafter, he will be able to pass the baton to Lijnders who is more than competent to take over the helm. Stevie G can then come back to be an assistant coach to learn the LFC philosophy and tactics.
"We don't want to be the best team in the world. We want to be able to beat the best team in the world in our way."
If Jurgen stays on this man has to be on board too, his passion and love for the players is brilliant to see YNWA
With the announcement yesterday, all Jurgen's coaches agreed extensions also.
@@TR4zest THE BEST NEWS EVER!
Surprised Pep signed a new deal with us and didn't leave to be an actual manager. I'm not complaining though
He previously failed in his first stint as a manager. No doubt he’s grown since then but I think the opportunity to work with Klopp is better for him than managing his own team.
Pep is 100% next in line. Not Gerrard as most think.

Extremely proud of this Liverpool team and coaching staff, the energy and passion is so infectious.

The best Pep in PL.
I had tears of happiness that night!
This is the most engrossing tactics video I've ever seen.
It's brilliant
Klopp's heir ,tc weird eversince pep came to our coaching staff , the team is on a different level, theres something special about this guy
we've become very good in possession since Pep came on board. much more controlled
He actually trains the team everyday
_Klopp's_ heir apparent right here. Best "holdover" from the _Rodgers_ era. All the best to him!
*_YN🔴WA_*
He gotta become a head coach asap ynwa
Up the reds !
It’s more controlled build up and intelligence but also immense counter-press
@@awabsherif2922 They have evolved from gegenpressing?
@@super_organist they havemt evolved from geggenpressing, they are now better at possesion and if you have the ball then you dont have to press as much as before. But the press is still there and it is the best in the world right now
Liverpool is so Lucky to have these 2 geniuses (Klopp and Pep Linjders) working together to manage this team. And you know what? They both work so well, they just gel together, it just a wonderful sight to see, real team work.
This video is going to be huge once Liverpool win the quadruple
Only Pep we acknowledge is Lijnders.
Klopp to Pepijn Lijnders to Steven Gerrard, imagine that as a future change of managers . You'll never walk alone , Liverpool's future looks great!!!
Good suggestion. Liverpool would be wise to make Pep the next manager
Gerrard have to be able to implement his system effectively at Villa before you can even consider him at LFC.. i hope he'll be given the time there
Best match I’ve ever been to at anfield as a season ticket holder for the past 16 years.
Watching this... is it any wonder why Liverpool are one of the best? the thinking process and structure for organised chaos is amazing! whilst also incorporating outside influences and mindsets like the fans and Barca's psychology... brilliant!! This right here is the best Pep out there! Yeah I said it!! YNWA
I open, I like, I smile I love pep and Liverpool
Our next manager when Klopp leaves in 2026, he gets 2 more seasons extra learning under Klopp now Klopp has signed an extension.
Bro this is mind blowing. I thought I knew football…
I cannot wait for this , OUR NEXT MANAGER FOR SURE ❤️❤️❤️
Future Liverpool manager. IF we are lucky. A brilliant brilliant football brain.
Being a Barca fan myself, although I was devastated by the result.
And we are still struggling, but will always keep supporting Barca.
But this comment is to celebrate Liverpool.
How far have they come!
They are one of the best football clubs right now!
And I specifically wanted to express gratitude towards Linjders, the amount of respect shown towards us is immense!
Thank you! 🤍
imagine we hired ex coaches and actual professional analysts as pundits rather than just ex players. The knowledge of the average fan would skyrocket
No wonder Liverpool are so magical ...their coaching staff is unbelievably smart ...they took apart Barca inside out on that day , like a pack of hungry wolves chasing a helpless prey...Liverpool and their fans literally took the soul out of the Barca players and their fans forever that night at anfield...
Pep Lijnders you are spectacular 🔴🔴🔴
The love the passion and the energy that poured from him... It is easy to see everything about our club being part of his heart and soul. In fact I am pretty sure if he had a DNA test, the results will reveal part Liverpool FC!!
Mane had the game of his life!
