This is amazing! Love how liquidy the metal form is and how it wraps around the stone in such an organic way. The closeup really shows the details of the method. One of the best Tiffany technique videos I've seen. Thank you!
Susie, I watched your new video. I hope you and your family had a great hike. What a beautiful place to visit. Also, I am so happy to know that you are doing well.
Dear Rosalinda, thank you for calling again. The trip was really great. I want to show more place from my neighborhood. but I will definitely add tinned jewelry soon
Xkatrix, the fluid is called flux. She may not have time to answer our questions. I found a book by Laura Beth Love titled Soldered Alchemy to be very helpful.
hello, may i know are you using the iron free tin ? i used tin to make jewellery and it is super matte , does not look as mirror as yours @_@ thanks for reply
dear suzy i would like to ask what material is the soft metal with which it decorates the mineral and bends easily. I am Hungarian so I thank you for the kind of metal material - and its thickness if you write it ..
Not sure if Susan got back to you personally but I’m gonna take a good guess and say the materials such as the wire and solder could very well be the same materials used in stained glass. If you search Stainglass wire you will find different gauges (thicknesses) and solder such as 50-50, 60-40. The wires bend easy. And as you say a soldering iron is used.
I would love to see you make more tin jewelry..so mesmerizing!
excellent video please make more!! learned so much! beautiful work!
OMG! SIMPLY BRILLIANT! LOVE YOUR TECHNIQUE! Now I have MY creative juices flowing!

Just added several supplies to my shopping list 😂
So beautiful! What kind of wire are you using? Copper? Silver plated? Sterling?
Your work is beautiful! Thank you for teaching us how to do this. Would you teach how to shape a wire rose and how to fill it with molten solder?

Szia Mária. Ezt egy “pre-tinned copper wire” -nak hívják azt hiszem ez egy 20 vagy 22 gauge lenne. Remélem ez segitet. Isten áldoson Mária!
