Thanks for the ideas for a nice chest workout, Tanner! Last April, I tried doing the extended arm chest flys with 10 pound dumbbells, and I couldn't do it--my forearms were in too much pain. I put that exercise on hold and tried it again in September, and I could do 4 sets of 12 reps. Currently, I do that lift with 15 pound weights for 10 reps, and I'm looking forward to improving on that by this summer. So, for your subscribers who might think it isn't worth trying some of your exercises for whatever reason, I would just say, don't give up on it entirely. The chest fly is just one of your exercises that I can do now when I could not the first time I tried it. Thanks again for the inspiration and your demonstrations!

I just started 4 and a half weeks ago and I'm getting some gains but realizing how important it is to make sure I workout my full body, not just the arms.
@@mataabuelitas516 I've gained 40lb, feel way better have way more energy and the weight gain is all from building muscle and eating lean meats. I've done alot more programs since then but this definently helped kick my newly found journey.

As a rookie who watched several of your videos, finally someone who understands what "dumbbells only" means. The rest of youtube channels be like "Yeah, dumbbells only, you need dumbbells, this 1000 USD bench, several ropes and the blood of the unicorn" SMH...
I did this twice. First round already kicked my ass but I went for a 2nd round anyway and still made it through. This is a definite breath of fresh air to my usual chest routine. Thanks for this, Barbarian Body!
This was great. The very compound exercises made this so good. I'd like it if all of your workouts (even arms) included at least one big compound exercise to get my heart rate up and stimulate growth.
Try using a light dumbbell and doing a few extra single-arm reps, like flys, one arm press, side to side push-ups but only do one side or do one side for a few extra reps than the other. This is as much as I know but I just want to try to be helpful. Get those gains brother!

idk if i’m skinny fat cuz i have some love handles and a bit of fat on my face and chest i’m 193 5’9 i’m trying to get to 165 or 170 u can still see some muscle that i have
if you can not do a normal push up try doing them from your knees like the first ones he showed. If you still can not do them then use weights instead and do the chest exercises he showed here to build up your strength.

Did it once with 52.5 lbs dbs for 1st 2 excersize sets. Last one switched to 45 lb dbs. Then moved on to one of your back excersizes.
