@@SmartWizzard Personal preference toh meri 300 ke against hai. It has 180mm GC, which is barely enough to qualify as an SUV. Then, its engines seem a little stressed out on paper. They are squeezing their engines for performance. Usually, it's a fine balance of performance, reliability and efficiency. Maruti Toyota are heavy on reliability and efficiency. Thus, not great on performance. Kia, Hyundai are pretty balanced in all 3 areas. Mahindra are all out performance, which means, that you may not get decent fuel efficiency and reliability out of their engines. Their 2.2 diesel are solid options though. but 300 is a C segment car made to fit in B2 segment for tax advantages. In that regard, it's underpriced. Unlike Kushaq, which looks like a Sub4m car but costs like a Seltos with fewer features. My personal recommendation would be Kia Sonet. Awesome video man. Sharing my tip here - We went for window shopping and projected ourselves as non serious buyers. In the meantime we checked their inventory on what models they had. While we were working on disocunt offers on Maruti Nexa cars recently for the website, I noticed something shocking. And it wasn't about the Jimny, which buyers can probably get for 3L below launch price BTW with half decent negotiation skills. The Vitara's Sigma was also on offer. That's already a good value. Even the Baleno Zeta with discounts is cheaper than its 1.5 year old launch price. I'm thinking, I might buy something too next year if this buyer's market continues.

Thanks team V3 cars for this informative and relevant video. As a first time car buyer, I found this video very helpful. Thanks for the effort put into this video.
Very much informative video in a very easy to understand language. Hope these tricks will help me get a good deal when I will decide to buy a new car. Good job.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I'm confident that these tips will help you. I recently purchased a car and I strictly wanted to adhere to the process outlined here to see if another car buyer can get a decent deal or not. I followed the process by the 'book' and got a nice deal, which exceeded the target I had in my mind. Just make sure that when you get the new car, share with me any problems you faced during the process, any new ideas that may have popped in your mind and the discount you managed to get. i'm interested in learning from your experience. A lot of it also depends on the market cycles. I shopped in a luke warm market at best. Whereas the late 2021-mid 2023 time was a hot and high demand market. So, it's not important how much discount you score, but how much extra you got because of your improved skill. Cheers!
Very good video. Thanks. I visited MG showroom for purchase of Astor Shine. Neither the company nor the car has much of a demand in the market. Since I have been driving for more than 20 years, I asked him not to discuss the technical aspects, which I know very well, but the price aspect. He quoted an on road price of Rs 14.00 lakhs. Refused to give any kind of discount, deal or bonus. He is confident perhaps, because Lucknow does not have any other dealer for MG. So dealer competition is applicable for metro cities only. Now I am re-examining my options for other brands...
Good one. You would have said about transferring no claim bonus to new car insurance. Most of rhe dealers sell a new insurance without considering existing NCB
Since neither I nor anyone in my circle have used this, So I didn't want to include it in this video. But, you're right. Once I gain better understanding around it, I'll include in the article. You can find the link in the pinned comment. That one will get updates as and when i learn more tricks.
Point 1 is totally wrong… whether you register a car in Jan… the resale market always sees the Manufacturing Date which is present is RC… I have purchased VW Taigun at very negotiable price on Dec 29, 2021 and registered my car in Jan2022 but still the Manufacturing Date in my RC is still Dec2021 😅 So when i’ll try to sell my car, it will always be considered as Dec2021 model and not Jan2022 one 😊
It's not about the resale market. It's about the car buyers. They certainly prefer buying in Jan. That's why the demand is low in Dec. Plus the month end, quarter end, calendar year end. That's why we have heavy discounts in Dec. You can't get the same discount on Dec 28 and Jan 3. I'm saying this from experience.
@@maheshy1 you can get the same discount or even more in Jan/Feb if the manufacturing year is previous one… Also in Luxury Cars even manufacturing months are counted in negotiations… I brought a Mercedes in Nov2018, but the available car has manufacturing month April2018, so i clearly asked the dealer to give me a car atleast manufactured within 1-2 month of my purchase which was possible but he even offered additional discount for the April2018 car…
@@kingcharles275 Of course. But there's less pressure on dealer for quarterly, monthly and yearly targets. In Dec we have a stronger hand. The next season to close the deal comes in March.
You feeling like I helped is not enough to make me feel like I helped. You have tell me how far you managed to take the dealer from the selling price they quoted upfront in your first meeting. That's my trophy. While I appreciate your complements, they don't tell me if I managed to bring a meaningfully positive change in your life. Good luck with your buying journey.
I just watched a clip of that. That's hilarious. After reading getting to yes and about 2-3rds of Bargaining with the Devil, I'd say my thoughts have evolved a little bit. I'd try to minimize the pressure on the other party to make it easier for them to justify giving us a good deal to their team. I guess the gift thing takes care of that to a certain extent. Mikey here played hard ball. That makes a negotiation feel like a courtroom battle where one has to lose for the other to win.
@@maheshy1I actually didn't get the 5th point. In the beginning of it, you said tell them what offer(s) you have in hand...but in the end of that point, you saying to not tell them which dealer we got the deal from..?? What does that mean?
@@PureRythm As in, only disclose the offer you have but don't tell them from which dealer you have the offer. This will prevent them from connecting with each other and fixing the price. It also safeguards the identity of the dealer and salesman in case they are giving you offers, which are much lower than what the manufacturer has advised the dealers. Some manufacturers don't want the dealers selling at deep discounts to protect a certain car's brand image.
@@maheshy1 that's helpful. Thank you.✌️👍🥂 Also, you mentioned gifts for the staff members...how do I decide what to get for them if we are meeting for the first time?
I have to be honest here, Throughout my youtube journey for years, this is the most detailed & practical video I have ever watched about negotiating and getting new cars with best deals. kudos to the presenter and his team... This was so helpful... adding on I am planning to buy a car by upcoming Nov. 2024... I don't have friend with such a great car knowledge & negotiating ability... I wonder if I can take you along with me.. :) Please feel free to reach out to me... It would be so great to connect with you over all platforms.
Good to know that you found it useful. The accompanying friend doesn't need to be a car expert. As long as they are not emotionally attached to the car you love, that's enough. Because they won't be in a rush to agree to the initial offer. I had used these techniques in 2014, so, I was a little skeptical if these would work in current conditions. But when shopping for a car early in 2024, I decided to strictly follow these steps to see if any common person can get a decent discount or not. I decided to not use anything special. With these steps only, I managed to move from the initial offer of about 45k to around 1.5L. So, i'm more confident of these steps now than at the time of publishing this video. Just don't rush to a decision. and if you miss a good offer, don't rush to a decision to avoid the agony of missing potentially missing out on the offer. And don't forget to let me know how much you manage to move the needle from initial offer to final offer. That's my only reward. Good luck
This one is really a very helpful video. I am sure it will help not just only buying a car, with other high value assets as well. Thanks for the well scripted tips.
All this works if you are going to buy a car of minimum price 75-80 lacs on road. And you are buying the car with full down payment in one shot. 10-15 lac ki gaadi lene wala loan leta hai. 25-50 hazaar zyada bhi de diye to koi farak nahi padne wala. Guys always remember, go into the car showroom only if you have entire price of the car in your account. No loan, no shit. If you can’t afford the car and anyway would loan it, it doesn’t matter how and what you negotiate.
A lot of car manufacturers bring hundreds of models, with modern automation and comforts. This era of working is prone to health issues like cervical and lumber issues due to continuous sitting especially for IT professionals and researches and also those who have to sit for long period of time. These companies however design the seats just opposite to the need of changed situation and not suited to the new working culture. Most of the cars are designed with bucket type seats which again deteriorate the health of customers (disease bought at the cost of their own money). I am very keen to buy a car which is manufactured with ergonomically suitable for back and neck but only due to the bucket type seat I refrain from buying PAIN. Time has come for automobile manufacturers to put more efforts in R & D /designing best suitable straight seats.
Start various channels on various topics....with this strategy exactly......i damn sure...all channles will grow very fastly and people too will get best knowledge
Thanks. I have that effect on ladies. hehehe I have done this before. it was late in 2020, when a lady, who happened to be a decision maker in choosing a new car said that my article had changed her opinion, and she chose the car i was recommending. That incidence has become the highlight of my writing career. Since automobile is an industry, which is thoroughly dominated by men --- from concept -> design -> sales -> purchase -> driving -> maintenance -> resale

Can you do a dedicated video demonstrates Car buying Process in showroom. How to apply car loan from banks ? How to take external insurance? And what is the sequence actions? I feel like this content is missing in UA-cam.
Noted. But showroom is a tall task. We can't shoot on dealer premises without their consent. Especially, when we're educating viewers how they can rip off the dealer.
Kudos to V3cars..👏👏👏 this should be circulated in big numbers so that who so ever is interested in buying a car can use this point to point vlog.... it's going to be helpful to many of my friends...
If we approach car buying like gol gappe (jab man kare tab kharidne chalte hain), then we're not only losing money we probably can afford to lose, but we're also making everything expensive for those who can't afford it but need it. I just don't buy it if I am not getting a crazy deal. That's why I always end up with flop vehicles --- Nano AMT, Beat D, Navi, Impulse. it has to be meticulous, and planned a year in advance --- at least. it's good that you're engaging in a longer buyer journey.
100% correct all these negotiation skills will help. Few already i did i do follow your other tips as well. Nice video worth watching anyone can save some hard earnings with this useful tips

Wow, next year i am gonna buy a new car or bike but in exclusive range. I was on a lookout for genuine advice and nuggets of experience. Thanks a tom. Is there a way to contact or communicate with you ? A forum maybe like team-bhp ?
I negotiated with 4 dealer and their all ten outlets separately and won 0 to 60k discount. But made a mistake on negotiating on car loans. After winning and fixing the car and discount i directly jumped in to banks traps. Cud not make a beeter deal on car loan, almost lost 50% of the discount amount in a bad bank selection
That's fine. there are no absolute losses in life. we either make a profit (and we should be happy) or we learn something (so, we should be happy). The only loss is of someone who makes a mistake and doesn't learn from it.
Iss channel ko chhodo, pure youtube par nahi milega aisa maal laake dunga. Just be careful consuming it. My content may carry a heavy dose of my personal opinion. Hehehe.
i read a comment a few days ago that someone actually got a nice deal for a relative without haggling becuase of #11. that's why i find it worth the time and effort we put into building and nurturing relationships.
i had paid 2k for booking with one dealer but the other dealer gave me such good offer that I didn't bother closely following up for refund. agar jada bada booking amount nahi diya hai toh try kar lo kya pata booking se jada ka offer hi mil jaye. phir refund ko aaram se dekh lene
Excellent Video. But this only works for the car which are already in low demand and dealers already having in their dead stock. If you try to buy a car which has just launched for ex Tata Curvv (Creative+S Petrol DCT) or Mahindra 3X0 (AX5L TGDI AT) then not a single dealer would give a single rupee discount on the Ex showroom price.

Cheers!
Excellent video.... The contents were crystal clear and very prompt. Very enriching i must say .... The satire in the end was epic ... 👌
I'm glad you liked it.
I must say this was the best video i have seen on NEGOTIATIONS.......YOU ARE RIGHT AT THE TOP....SALUTE TO YOU !!
Thanks for your kind and encouraging words.
This is the best video in UA-cam. Very informative. Appreciate the effort. Kudos 🎉
Sir, go for VW Taigun, far better than others

An amazing video with a proper information set. Great work for content writing and presentation.
Good one. You would have said about transferring no claim bonus to new car insurance. Most of rhe dealers sell a new insurance without considering existing NCB
Yes and it carries through the years. It’s a huge benefit in subsequent years if there are no claims.
Since neither I nor anyone in my circle have used this, So I didn't want to include it in this video. But, you're right. Once I gain better understanding around it, I'll include in the article. You can find the link in the pinned comment. That one will get updates as and when i learn more tricks.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BEING VERY HONEST. WE ARE PLANNING TO BUY A NEW CAR THIS DEEPAVALI. THANK YOU SO MUCH
Point 1 is totally wrong… whether you register a car in Jan… the resale market always sees the Manufacturing Date which is present is RC…
I have purchased VW Taigun at very negotiable price on Dec 29, 2021 and registered my car in Jan2022 but still the Manufacturing Date in my RC is still Dec2021 😅
So when i’ll try to sell my car, it will always be considered as Dec2021 model and not Jan2022 one 😊
@@maheshy1 you can get the same discount or even more in Jan/Feb if the manufacturing year is previous one…
Also in Luxury Cars even manufacturing months are counted in negotiations…
I brought a Mercedes in Nov2018, but the available car has manufacturing month April2018, so i clearly asked the dealer to give me a car atleast manufactured within 1-2 month of my purchase which was possible but he even offered additional discount for the April2018 car…
@@kingcharles275 Of course. But there's less pressure on dealer for quarterly, monthly and yearly targets. In Dec we have a stronger hand. The next season to close the deal comes in March.
Amazing video. Very nicely presented. Thanks
07:47 as Michael Scott says “ I always reject first offer “ 😂
Thank you.✌️👍🥂
Also, you mentioned gifts for the staff members...how do I decide what to get for them if we are meeting for the first time?

Awesome. Very well described. All points are must while buying a car.
This is more than a car buying video it's better sales training
All this works if you are going to buy a car of minimum price 75-80 lacs on road. And you are buying the car with full down payment in one shot. 10-15 lac ki gaadi lene wala loan leta hai. 25-50 hazaar zyada bhi de diye to koi farak nahi padne wala.
Guys always remember, go into the car showroom only if you have entire price of the car in your account. No loan, no shit. If you can’t afford the car and anyway would loan it, it doesn’t matter how and what you negotiate.
Well done brother, very well explained.
Best video for new car buyers 😊

Massive congratulations on a video well done. Excellent car buying and negotiating tips.

Thanks. I have that effect on ladies. hehehe
I have done this before.
it was late in 2020, when a lady, who happened to be a decision maker in choosing a new car said that my article had changed her opinion, and she chose the car i was recommending. That incidence has become the highlight of my writing career. Since automobile is an industry, which is thoroughly dominated by men --- from concept -> design -> sales -> purchase -> driving -> maintenance -> resale

will thy offer the discount up to the showroom price sir or even lesser ?
Excellent video. Given me something to work on for my new car.
Thank you so much. A very well made video. In fact, your video helped a lot in negotiation of my new car.

Excellent Video. But this only works for the car which are already in low demand and dealers already having in their dead stock. If you try to buy a car which has just launched for ex Tata Curvv (Creative+S Petrol DCT) or Mahindra 3X0 (AX5L TGDI AT) then not a single dealer would give a single rupee discount on the Ex showroom price.
right. in that case, there's room to negotiate on some accessories or on waiting period.
