  • My M performance exhaust remote stopped working. I replaced the button cell battery (2032 size) And it’s still did not work. Turns out I blew the 15 amp fuse in the trunk. After replacing that fuse power came back to the Bluetooth module and this is a tutorial for the Bluetooth pairing process.
    Hope it helps somebody!

@@matthewmace8428 Hi mate, I just bought the same car and has the same exhaust. Does the flap need to be open or closed for the MOT. Sorry to ask a stupid question, I wasn't sure what way the the MOT people judge this type of exhaust. Thanks for any advice

Thank you bro. Was wondering why my flaps weren't opening and turns out the fuse was blown too.

ShouldIgetit2 - when you reset the Bluetooth controller, did you have an assistant? Did they hold the reset button in for 10-seconds and keep holding the reset button while you turned the car off and back on, and then they held it for another 2-seconds before releasing it? Or, did you hold the reset button for 10-seconds and then release it and then you turned the car off and back on, before you pushed the reset button again for 2-seconds? I wasn’t sure which one you did.

I did it all myself without an assistant. So the second scenario

the red light on my module is not flashing like yours after the steps. I have power from my fuse box. I tested to wires going inside the module and it has power but red light will not come on. Has anyone ran into this issue? Any suggestions?

I have a 2015 uK version. It does not work. Tried so many versions of this process. When I try and do the reset it just keeps flashing (module and remote) does not pair !
