  • I created this short video to show that the JCW Pro Exhaust kit will fit and work on the 2021 GP3 MINI.
I used kit: 18302407323 Exhaust Flap System
I got the kit from MINI of Kennesaw: parts.miniofkennesaw.com/oem-...
You will need to choose exhaust tips since they are NOT included in the kit. Your options are Stainless or Carbon Fiber. I went with the Carbon Fiber tips but here is a link for each. It's important to note that they are sold as single units so you will need two .
    Stainless: parts.miniofkennesaw.com/oem-...
    Carbon Fiber: parts.miniofkennesaw.com/oem-...
This is not the tuning kit. This is only the exhaust kit, and it is all you need for the GP3.
The 3D printed remote control holder I used was created by Christos Goulas. He is in Greece but shipping from him is very fast. I received mine in 4 days (Florida, USA). However, shipping will depend on your location. The link below is where you can purchase:
    www.etsy.com/listing/70775451...
    Tools needed:
    3/8” Ratcheting Wrench
    1/4” Ratcheting Wrench
    T45 Torq
    Long 3/8 extension
    Medium 3/8 extension
    Long 1/4 extension
    Medium 1/4 extension
    Flash Light
    ¼” Ratcheting Wrench
    Diagonal cutters
    16mm Deep Well Socket
    18mm Socket
    10mm Socket
11/16” socket (might be a metric equal but it worked)
    Soft face Mallet
    Breaker Bar
T25 torq in ratchet and or screw driver (I ended up using both in tighter spaces)
    Standard Screw driver
Plastic pop panel button remover would be a good idea. I did not have one so I just used a standard screw driver
I also used a Milwaukee battery powered fan as It was hot as hell.
Please feel free to ask questions in the comments.

This is awesome! Thanks for making the video! I wonder if the JCW Pro exhaust impacts the power output of the engine. I say this because the midpipe of the JCW Pro exhaust did look like it was of a smaller diameter than the midpipe of the stock GP3 exhaust.

Hey nice job on the video. I have GP 1395 and am very curious if you find any difference in power with the pro-exhaust. I am a little disappointed in the sound of the stock GP exhaust but assumed it was just not broken in yet (I only have 400 miles).

hi, thanks for sharing the video. i purchased F54 Clubman. the Bluetooth controller did not come with the car so I got new one. i can not pair controller with reciver. i checked, every single wire, everything is as per manual instruction. there is an electricty output from fuse box to the reciver but reciver doesn't give any signs. i got spare one and it's the same so i doubt both are broken.

    Awesome video, thanks for sharing.
I'm trying to get this exhaust for my 2021 F56 JCW. But the dealer keeps telling me that they didn't make this exhaust for my car model. I told them that any exhaust of an F56 year model will fit in my car and they wouldn't believe that.
After a lot of talking they tried to shut me up by telling me that they can't order a part if the chassis number doesn't show on their system that it has this part that I'm talking about. What should I do?
I asked if i can use any chassis number of an F56 2018 year model in order for them to even be able to order it. Furthermore, they warned me that the car differs entirely from market to market (for example, US f56 is different from UK F56 and also different from any of the same car of any other region.
    It's really frustrating

Hello. Thanks so much for you posting this video. I was just at the dealership and enquired about getting the exhaust fitted to my GP3 . They said that the jcw pro was smaller so a weld would have to be maid and then they could do the rest (wiring). I'm guessing they were wrong. And you can use the original clamp. Please let me know.

Can you give more details of the installation in the fuse box? I'm going to install mine tomorrow and I'm in doubt? Is it to connect the wires on the back of the fuse box? The wire to connect to the fuse box is without the connector, plug, plastic, I don't know if it's this way or the plug is missing. fact is that it has two bare ends without the plug, a red wire and a black wire, I bought used exhaust.
Last question how did you pass the wire to the front of the vehicle?
    Thanks from Brazil.

    • @ccooper2654
      @ccooper2654  2 роки тому +1

Yes there should of been a brass connection on the end that goes to the fuse panel - so who ever removed it from the other car, cut the wire.
To get the wire from front to rear I removed the trim panels and followed factory wiring routes

Tuning kit cost more as it includes the tuning disk and code, the exhaust kit is cheaper as it is just the exhaust kit (no JCW tune). If you car is already a JCW you will be able to go ahead and sell the Tuning CD and Code Key to someone that wants to put a JCW tune on a non-JCW (MINI Cooper S) car.
