Exactly why Terraria is superior to Minecraft. The devs want to make a game. Microsoft just wants to make money.
This game is a 2d masterpiece even though it barely has a story.
They should bring back the worm pet from the suspicious looking apple. I always thought it was funny back when I played in 1.2. If you were afk for a couple minutes it would say "boring," and when you died it would say "bye bye."

Something we need is new boss attacks for master mode, because it just feels like expert but a little harder
Legendary/getfixedboi kind of has you covered somewhat on that. With mechdusa. And some of the bosses getting new attacks. Could def be more tho
'for the worthy' does that. I freaked out when Skeletron spawned casters first time I tried out the seed.
I think what boss really needs a rework is the plantera. I have ideas and I think it could be way more harder. It's just too easy.

Why is there a boulder with Red's face on it? That is the most terrifying thing ever. What could it do? Is it homing? Will it deal daytime Empress of Light damage? Only time will tell (or Red. Red could tell us.)

after being a minecraft fan for years and recently getting into terraria, the creators really do listen to the fans
And they don't do mob votes either, which is great for the community's health.

At the end of the boulder rain the moon from Majora's Mask comes down and you have to fight it.

New furniture set could be themed around shimmer some how, maybe throwing some of the celestial furniture into shimmer makes it new?

Shimmer has a block that appears when another liquid touches it, so why not have the set be made from those?

3:00 An idea I had would be if you combined "for the worthy" and "don't dig up" boulders would rain from the sky instead of water. To me it would kinda make sense because I assume relogic is working mostly on seed combo logistics at the moment
that sounds kinda op for money. boulders hurt enemies, and the surface gets boosted corruption spawn rates.
well, its op money if you can reach it. or if you dont die from the worms first.

Every celestial fragment has their own furniture set and monolith. How come luminite by itself has a monolith, but no furniture? That's why I guess we will be getting luminite furniture.
Luminite doesn't have a monolith, it only drops from killing ML, like Hallowed bars. Hallowed bars also doesn't have furniture so why would Luminite have furniture?

There IS a Monolith made of only Luminite, but it is called the Void Monolith.

There is one thing I always wanted in terraria: connected oceans. You could walk towards right and come out of left side of the map, like in a loop. Dunno if there's any reason why it's not a good idea apart from complexity but i thought it sounds cool. Oh, and i'd also love selectable block type when hammering, even if it required a post moonlord hammer.
I've always wish they'd expand the ocean a bit more and add new monsters and terrain on the ocean floor.
I really hope the dead cells boss is in the desert
Same, it's the only surface biome without a boss.

They should add the giant, having a boss which limits the size of the arena would be sick in terraria, mush like calamitas
they gotta add a desert god as a secret boss which lurks in the background (like the moonlord) so u can't build things to cheese it
Boulder Rain makes me think of For the Worthy + No Traps for a special seed interaction. Out fishing during a storm? The rain is now boulders. Digging through a hive? A sticky boulder pops out. Distracted on a sky island by harpies and/or wyverns? Have some bouncy boulders to simulate small meteorites.
I've been absent of r/place activity this year, and seeing that the art terraria players are preserving is Leinfors was actually a tear-jerking moment to witness. Honestly this is one of the most wholesome communities ever and it's an amazing accomplishment with all the hate in the world recently. I hope he can stay until the end as a little thanks for his commitment.
we need a throwaboulder that's like a boulder but can be thrown manually like other consumables, it would be so funny!

I feel like a minor QoL change would be to have someplace to see your obtained perma buffs as the shimmer things makes it hard to keep track

The only thing I honestly think should be added is either an artificial demon altar or the ancient manipulator acting as one. It’s annoying when I break most of the altars during early hardmode, and searching everywhere for one.

All I’m hoping for is them to add the flying carpet as a vanity option for wings and hoverboards. It fits so perfectly and I love the look of the flying carpet so much that I wanna use it late game.
I am both excited and terrified of Boulder rain.
It would be so funny if they make it so there is like 0.1% chance every morning for a boulder rain.

Rubblemaker being moved to PreHM is just good i never understood why they felt the need to have it locked behind that large milestone since we builders just don'tcare about progression that much

I love that red is talking about post moon lord content, I want an ultimate item that allows for the journey mode to be accessible in normal modes but it’s all completed (creative mode). Would be good for people just going crazy in their world after moonlord.
Unless that's able to be modified like shimmer, RIP modded post-ml balance

Maybe the seed combination might be a huge lava ocean, the entire world is just lava except for the beaches, you maybe need to travel to the opposite beach for something.

What i dont understand, is to get the hard mode ores out of silt, you need the chlorophite extractinator. Id orefer something like the titanium extractinator, then the chlorophite extractionator, can get chlorophite from mud

One really silly little thing I would love to see added to Terraria as someone who's been recently getting into building is rug/carpet blocks. I wanna give my houses nice soft carpet floors without having to do janky workarounds to make it.
Leinfors being immortalised as an in game portrait would be a very nice touch that would stick around for years

Boulder rain was a suggestion on reddit where it would naturally occur like rain with boulders falling from the sky(i dont know if it was also a forum post)
It may be terrifying, but not as terrifying as the real last Terraria update

I don't want to get myself too hyped up for something that probably won't happen but 1.4.5 is starting to give me 1.3.6 vibes with the sheer volume of things being added.
My friend and I were discussing the secret seed combos a while back, and he mentioned something I like. Having both of the world evils, but without the rest of the effects from the drunk seed would be nice.

Red should make the paper airplanes useful, such as loading items in it and throwing it and guiding it to another player. Would be so useful when people are on different sides of the world and don't have wormhole.

boulder rain is actually an event that was predicted by an animator a long time ago. According to the animation, boulder rain would happen when a group of harpies were turned to stone by medusa riding on the back of a wyvern
The ad that played at the start of this was for something called Redhat, and their logo was, no shot, almost identical to the hat your avatar character wears.

Can they add the treasure bags from expert (without the items ofc) to classic mode? Would make multiplayer with new players WAY more fun cause i’m not fighting some super boosted boss basically all by myself or fighting over loot.

The best you'd get with something like that is maybe ghost ship games, who are very good at keeping up with the fans, but they're an indie team so they can afford that
