The Queen Slime has the worse one- rolling Cactus
boss slimes with boulder statues would already easily work too. having to keep an eye on the actual ground with king slime instead of just having the smaller slimes just pile up, while queen would spit bouncy boulders along with the other slimes and their projectiles
Terraria is just too good of a game. Not even the developers can put it down.

I think a shipwreck structure that generates similarly to the pyramid but in the ocean would be a really awesome feature as the oceans are quite empty right now

It would be nice if Master mode was not just a Expert mode with bit stats and new drops from bosses, i would have liked if Master mode made the Bosses harder with REAL new features

The first thing that comes to mind when I see the dart trap slime is that maybe it's a buff to the "No Traps" seed.

dart slimes should have an extremely low spawn chance in normal worlds because one of the most consistently funny things in terraria is getting hit by weird rng shit you didn’t know existed and then never seeing it again
We need a boulder boss. He just shows up without you summoning and rolls in every direction while firing boulders at you even while flying

What if instead of platform boots and long platforms something like torch gods favor was added that made you able to place blocks endlessly by holding the build button and when you let go it places them all at once like wires.

I love that. The Grand Design for platforms.
There's a quality of life mod that adds exactly that in the form of a wand, pretty cool.
It would make building hell bridges much easier.
I'd rather have the boots since it lets me free up my hand while building the platforms so that I can use it to fight off the swarms of enemies that try to jump me every time I place a singular platform, particularly when setting up a Hellbridge

I really hope they add the First Fractal as a shimmer recipe. Ik it's been said by a lot of people before but I still really think it's a good way to have both weapons.

Wait til we get Boulder Slimes that drop live boulders on death.
I would love for a combination of Hermes boots and the ice staff.
Imagine being able to walk in the air on ice blocks that disappear shortly afterwards.
Or maybe add the cloud in a bottle (and variation) with Hermes boots as an alternative to Terraspark.
8:41, I'd suggest in normal seeds they only spawn in the cavern layer until hardmode where they spawn on the surface. And in FTW just have them spawn on both by default, and make a variant after hardmode that shoots fire arrows
I think those trap slimes would be brilliant as a craftable defense tool during bosses or events, Terraria has science and magic, but seeing those two combine into a homemade frankensteins monster to deal lethal ranged damage would feel like bringing more life to my battles
Id like to point out that you CAN currently get jungle in a skyblock world. Just let corruption infect mud blocks then clentaminate with purity. Source: ive played and made some high performing skyblock maps on the community tab
Pretty sure that since 1.4.4, corruption and crimson don’t change dirt to mud anymore.

Correct! It's a very out-of-the-box solution but it's completely and entirely effective.

Maybe they could make it so you could change the sword that the terraprisma summons, like you put a zenith in a vanity slot and then instead of it being the terraprisma it summons zeniths

Considering minions can be stacked… If someone managed to grind for enough materials to make enough Zeniths… Jesus not even the Calamity mod or Stars Above would be able to balance the unholy madness that is 100 swords flying around the screen hacking up every poor soul in it’s range.

From the answer in 7:36 about being able to see the sword visibly I would totally love to see a pet that can be any sword you’ve collected on your journey.
I love this idea! I imagine myself having my starting copper shortsword follow me along the journey the whole way bouncing along the ground

It’s always nice to see how far Terraria has come. Even today, still with a thriving community.
Maybe we could use the trap slimes in the no-traps seeds or ftw.
Another idea is that whenever a slime touches an item theyre able to pick up on the ground it grabs it. (Like when the slimes have hearts or money in their sprite) Thatd be kinda cool
I want a wood variant made by combining one of each wood. This of course comes with it's sword and armor. Which is the combined stats of each wood armor/weapon in the game (that includes set bonuses)
Edit: I completely forgot Spooky Wood existed. This thing will be even more OP now

the slimes seem like a combination seed thing that has the traps secret seed and something else, which would be pretty cool
The dart slimes may actually be the first time I have ever feared Red.
It feels really nice watching chippy with news i watched xo many times now it givenostalgia
i should probably just go to the terraria forums suggestions to say this, but celestial pillar furniture really should be unique for each set, like, the theme is right there, specially with the enemies
imagine 1.4.5 becomes a 1.5, it already seems quite big
a fully vanilla skyblock challenge sounds really fun. the real question is, if it's going to be a secret seed modifier then can it be merged with the other kinds...

Hey Chippy, an idea for your videos. When going through stuff like this that often refers to very specific items, I find myself consulting Wiki Gang quite a lot, which requires a lot of pausing. Just one example from this video, I could not recall what the Golem Fist was. When you refer to items in these discussions, would it be much trouble to include a screenshot of the item tooltip to help have that context front and center?

I think the dart slimes could be a great ftw/no traps thing as enemies, but they also seem like a pretty good idea for a new summon!
Regarding the vanity swords; maybe just have it function exactly like an idle terraprisma with a different sprite.

As someone else said, the slimes are probably a no traps/combination thing. Although I would love to see a small chance for one of those to just randomly show up and murder you in a normal world.

And i had an Idea for a New event called "Doom's Day" It would be a fusion of blood Moon and eclipse, spawning both enemies and It would happen at day or night after a blood Moon and a eclipse has happend in the world

They should add a sky chest key like the corrupt key, if I'm not wrong they used to require keys to be open at least that's what I remember
i am not farming harpys for a sky key just so i can get a starfury before king slime
@@maddenbanh8033 a sky chest like the corruption chest. you would still get the normal skyware chest loot but this would be a special one, i think is what they were going for

First time commenting :D. When playing multiplayer, it is always frustrating to have parts missing from my map of places that my friend have already explored. I would like for something placeable that shares your map to other players (similar to the map in Corekeeper) so they do not have to go where you have been already just to get that part of the map discovered. Maybe an automatic-real-time function that what ever your friends discover on the map it discovers it for you as well.
I could feel those slimes in a mastermode situation, spawning in expert ftw/mastermode+
maybe different types of arrows shot out of the slime... suddenly getting hit with a flame arrow, or maybe a venom arrow as a gag

would love a easier way of dealing the evil biome spread pre mech bosses
same, something like calamity's axe of purity
maybe a better mining tool that doesnt mess with progression so the five block wide pits are less time-consuming

slimes with traps could be a slime invasion event, like bomb trap slimes coming into to sap your stuff or boulder slimes dropping in from above. stuff like that, just artificer slimes coming to cause some trouble/damage.
man it would be so cool to have different races on terraria, like undead, goblins, etc.

I think the Harpoon is a very missed opportunity for a cool pre-hardmode tool that would help Melee builds close distance to target, think about it, Harpoon could actually pull enemies close Scorpion style and allow for quick work with any melee, would be especially useful against ranged enemies, i believe some people would even find it useful to pull harder hardmode enemies into traps that would surely make them perish. Would actually be a cool weapon instead of a boring ahh infinite ammo gun
actually a pretty sick idea, possibly it could be somewhat homing so when you're in caves or the jungle bats and hornets are a lot less annoying
@@nicknick493 and actually torreadoring high damage enemies like medusas, mimics, or unicorns, juking them, pulling them over only to dodge them and go the opposite way to make as much distance as possible in a short time. To be honest I was surprised they haven't done that

Thanks for the link for suggestions. My kids and I are running out of uses for our gemcorn farm and we were thinking gem-tipped arrows and bullets would give us an incentive to continue harvesting gems. Hopefully it wouldn't be hard to implement.
You can make jungle nowadays: water and dirt to make mud, eoc allows for evil seeds, dryad allows for purification powder. Corrupt/crimson the mud then purify it into jungle grass block.

I couldn't figure out how to post on it but i had an idea for golems fists would bounce of the walls three times then retract it that order. I think it would make the fight cooler
For the arrow slimes, Seed Combination: No Traps + For the Worthy = Slimes with dart traps, explosives, etc
I'd say the dart trap slimes would fit pretty well in notraps
the dart slimes would spawn rarely on the grass biome during hardmode and it would replace all grass biome slimes (and the ones king slime spawns) in the no traps seed during pre hardmode and hardmode

If the dart slimes are going to replace every slime in Notraps, I think they could have a 0.1% chance to spawn in other seeds to potentially scare someone doing a hardcore run

I love that whenever they make an update they just keep adding things
Imagine if some Terraria items/weapons had secondary effects if you right licked instead of left clicked? Like left click with the Harpoon does the regular attack it already does, but right click causes it to get stuck inside the next enemy it hits. Then it could either deal more damage over time like the Piranha Gun does, or it could take the enemy with it when it reels back in. Or it could grapple the player towards wherever it lands
It would probably be that Slimes just have a chance to spawn with a dart trap in the No Traps seed
I LOVE the idea of spicing up the sky islands with their own trees or plants (maybe even a unique critter?)
Maybe something in reference to Castle in The Sky…

the slimes fits the no traps seed, but considering that there are star slimes in don't dig up it could also be added there. maybe when you choose a combination of these two seeds?

I feel like the slimes can make a good defense pet feature when doing the Etheria Quest in Terraria, since it shows that slimes will shoot projectiles in a complete horizontal line, making it good against a crowd of enemies that spawn during the fight against the Old One's Army.
this is going to be an amazing update, I can tell just by looking at the dart slimes.
I think for the slimes it could either be ftw only spawns them but with lower contact damage and health(only by a little bit), or they could be a new type of dungeon slime.

King and Queen Slime could summon the arrow slimes. Maybe with a reduced RoF but actively aiming at nearby players. Maybe they could also be an uncommon/rare mob during slime rain.
Dart slimes in master mode, that would be a pain, but at least more of a challenge

I think that the slimes are probably for a special seed but it'd be neat if they could show up rarely outside that seed as well.
i would love a way to combine banners like biome banners for example. you combine every banner from a specific biome to make a biome banner
the dart slimes could have a chance to spawn nearby any type of traps? dont know the logistics but maybe just add a check of 'if trap is within x area spawn dart variant'
The dart slimes could maybe appear post plantera / golem, as traps stop being an issue when you have post golem hp and armour, as well as the grand design revealing wires. IDK if this would suit normal mode tho, as it would be quite frustrating.
I think the dart trap slimes would fit in nicely with notraps, just adding even more creative traps to ruin your day would be pretty fun.
There should really be alternate king slimes like the green one could be quick but small, the purple would be strong and bigger, and whatever you can think for the others, there should also be a haunted house structure in the ground where there are ghost slimes or white slimes as well as cool ghost loot and a new ghost boss

Zenith versions of other types of weapons like Yoyo/Bows/Spell Books or even tools would be kinda cool
