I love the dev team so much they actually listen and interact with there community listen to criticism and ask players what issues they have with the game to better the experience for everyone and this is supposed to be a minor update

@Randomnameidk Minecraft development sucks a lot, but tbh it's still way better off than other studios in terms of taking player feedback with several iterations via snapshots and the feedback forums. It's like the one part of their update cycle that's pretty solid.
as an avid terraria skyblock enjoyer I hope early game is a little faster… waiting on slimes to drop iron and bombs took HOURS lol
I have a feeling they're doing everything they can to help the grind
I think getting the Skeleton Merchant to spawn on a platform in the underground layer is easier for bombs.
You can also get bombs from undead miners.

Here hoping it could otherwise act as a charm of myths buff, reducing the timer on potion sickness.
I’d imagine it might be more in like with the use of it in dead cells.
If I were to do anything with it knowing that health potions are not limited and easily craftable I’d make it give the abilities that health potions have in dead cells, so make it where using a health potion will damage enemies around you.

Expanding updates way beyond their scope feels a bit like the devs relapsing at this point :D. I absolutely love it.
They're like "trust me bro, it's just going to be a small update!" "I can make a small update anytime I want bro, I swear" "just this one small update, then I'm going to make something else!"

I think the afk stress ball was the addition that was suggested for years, but only got added because Red finally needed it

4:38 - Back before 1.4.4 I remember the team mentioning that wire would be removed as an item and wrenches would just place it for free, I hope that finally happens. I always either buy way too many wires or way too few, which either wastes money or wastes time, it’s very frustrating
Maybe they shouldn't be removed, but instead become like a placable pile of wires or something, maybe a rope type instead... so if you wanna make a smashed spaceship, new decor block for it.

I don't have many social accounts including the forums, but I would really love a "Doghouse" where you can put a pet spawn in it and the pet will wander the area
Yes! I've wanted something like this for a long time - I love collecting pets but since you can only equip one at a time, I barely get to use most of them. I'd love to be able to display them somehow
How about something like putting the a summon item on the "doghouse" and it will wander around the area and attack enemies. Kind of like artileries

@@Dosoup if you want to, you could use calamity's vanities for pet groups (e.g. pet item that summons both king slime and queen slime master mode pets). you don't need to have calamity mod on to use it anymore btw

I think the zombie arm gore flingy thing might end up getting changed to fling something else specifically because of the option to disable gore potentially interfering with it

I’m really hoping in the next update, they allow you to use flying carpets as wing/hoverboard vanities. I think the flying carpet is one of the coolest looking items and I’m disappointed it’s not very useful lategame despite it’s difficulty to get.

I love how much attention skyblock is getting and how Red is fully embracing it.
Meteor Shower in normal gameplay would be awesome and would make certain master mode beginnings very interesting
Red actually getting invested in a skyblock seed after being a bit trepidatious about it at first has me super stoked. I'm glad he seems to be enjoying it.
After his research he got into it way more than I expected him to, and it's awesome.
Hey! A while ago I thought of a use for the Love Potion in Terraria. How about if this potion, when thrown at a non-boss enemy, made him become friendly, like a pet?
When under the effect of this potion, enemies would be immune to receiving damage from the player and you could right click on them for them to follow you or stay quiet in one place.
We could make a kind of enemy zoo with this.
The effect of the potion would be infinite, but it could be removed with another new potion which would be the Hate Potion.
This would not only give the Love Potion a use but also add a new potion, the Hate Potion.
And I thought it would be cool that the Hate Potion when thrown at NPCs would make them turn hostile.

Sounds like the Hate Potion should also make critters/neutral mobs hostile, like the squirrel attack spoiler.
This is a super awesome idea but at the same time really OP because you could just throw love potions at everything and bam nothing kills you

Sounds like a way to one shot any non boss enemy (or at least isolate them all and fight one at a time) which is really broken.
Not to mention it would mess up total entity count, if you had too many the game would break.
I cant wait until 1.5 comes out as the 19th final update!

My only wish is they fuse a whip with Stardust cell staff to make Stardust cell whip, like the Cool Whip.
5:57 in a previous video red said he wanted to give an effect to the love potion and someone mentioned the stink effect, my theory is this is 2 spoilers in one, the stink effect now makes critters attack you and birds will now randomly poo
2:19 looks like cloud platforms so that may be a new set of blocks and furniture made of clouds
Just like any other Terraria news video, this one brings us a lot of joy! The Terraria Devs are such awesome people and they made such a great game!
I do hope Meteor Showers become the new norm for collecting meteorite ore. Having to find and dig out an entire crater and then fill it back in with dirt/stone/etc has always been a bit tedious.
1:30 I did a round with a skyblock mod in 1.4.3 - The meteors kept destroying artificial biomes I made.
It was really irritating.
I put in a request for a mod that disables meteor spawns, with bonus points if it allowed the player to build a giant magnet on the surface to set the spawn point for a meteor, but so far I don't think anyone has taken me up on it...
this is a super late reply but putting filled chests in an area can stop a meteor spawning there

With the two functions of the health fountain in Dead Cells itself (Restoring the player’s life AND filling their potions), it’s my belief the buff will affect either regen (maybe adding a flat restoration buff of some sort) or potion crafting (in a similar manner to the alchemy table, perhaps)
I can't even imagine what the final final final update 1.4.6 will look like just seeing 1.4.5

Using the cane to farm money could be super cool especially with stress ball that’s being added. Plus the books that buff npcs attack and defense with nurse could help!

1:46 that dash into the Queen slime to avoid damage was cool
Idk if anyone remembers the old Demo World from the Mobile edition of terraria, but hearing "Skyblock" made me think of that, a big floating island with enough gear/ore to fight Skeletron but, not easy or straightforward either.
We really need an event logic sensor and a rain logic sensor, these could work for locking NPC’s in their houses to keep them safe. Maybe we could also get a logic sensor that detects when a certain soundtrack is being played (set using a music box)
Music Box sensor might run into issues since I'm pretty sure soundtracks are client side. Party Girl changing the music to Otherworld variants doesn't do so for everyone else, for example.
One thing I want of Skyblock is non-replenishable ores/soils (clay, ash and hellstone mostly) to drop from somewhere. Hellstone couls actually maybe drop from obsidian crates?
Without a hellforge, hellstone isn't very useful, so those should really be put in obsidian crates too

I think it would make sense if the money dropped from the cane is actually the one stored in the tax collector's "reserve", you essentially take it like this instead of clicking on the tax collector's button, that makes perfect tematic sense and prevent the infinite afk farm

In Dead Cells, the healing fountain gives you a few uses of your health flask. So maybe the buff provides extra use(s) for your health potions without getting potion sickness.
I always liked how your vids end with the footage showing the defeat of a boss or somethin.

Always look out for shark statues when caving. They're not that rare and they help tremendously with the hunter potions. :)

Tbh I think the dead cells healing thing will work sorta like a restriction / buff in a way kinda something like during a boss fight done with the buff you can use potions within 3 seconds of eachother but you can only use 5 potions total similar to how dead cells doesn’t have a cooldown on it but has a limited amount of healing per level - in reference to healing pots particulaely
i'd love some sort of overhaul of the guide npc, maybe doing more than just showing a few recipes and giving tips about how to progress. preferably the rework would make it so you wouldn't need to have the terraria wiki pulled up at all times while playing. would be nice if he could also give u various fun facts and trivia about the game.

I’m looking at the gnomes and because there there that means you can craft more unsafe background walls and likely there is a way to get shimmer pre moon lord in this sky block seed I would be really happy if that was the case as I did a shimmer block play though and I learned how amazing shimmer it it makes everything was
Terraria’s dev team are so smart with their spoilers, it’s like a where’s Waldo puzzle, you have to pay close attention to everything to make sure you don’t miss it.

why is no one talking about that the fountains buff could actually be the same mechanic from dead cells or bloodborne where after you get hit your health is still dropping a little and you can regen it by dealing damage
If I had to guess what the new buff is from the crossover, is that it would reduce the health potion cooldown while it's in effect, since that would be the closest you could get to a flask refill in a game where your healing is craftable.
In the meantime, Re-Logic simply cannot actually say "we're done" and I'm waiting for it to happen because I can't count on one hand every update that they've said that for at this point.
if have to guess the health fountain well give a buff that improves healing potions by giving them maybe 20% or 40% boast in healing

I bet the health fountain will work like a crystal ball as in when you interact with it you get a temporary buff that gives you some extra life regen or reduces your potion cooldown when you’re in its aura like the bast statue
For the past week, ive been playing on skyblock with a few QOL mods, and it has been amazing. I cannot wait for this to be an actual playable seed.
i actually quite like the aggressive critters idea.
not i can make Moster characters a full thing, sadly with the seed only.
