My 3rd time commenting lmao but I just have to say how incredible it is to witness such a beautiful marriage. We all know that these days it’s not easy to be in a relationship, or find a man (or woman) of their words. It’s incredible. You’re a wonderful man, father and husband josh🫶🏻🫶🏻❣️

My wife and I have been married for 2 years and one of the realest things you said is that you both are always changing and sometimes it can be an adjustment to recognize the season you and your partner are in… but that’s also the beauty in having someone for life. Another great pod you guys 🙏🏾

I’m not married, but a good friend of mine JUST got married, she actually said that her and her husband felt so much pressure to consummate their relationship on their wedding night, she actually said that she wishes they would’ve waited until the next morning, they were so tired and yet they went through with it as a sort of obligation, I think it’s 100% realistic and probably more enjoyable if you do it when you’re genuinely wanting to do it, as opposed to feeling an obligation to it.

My wife and I have our own business. We have had it for several years. We always confirm with our clients the night before. Most of our clients we have had for years and if they experience having a child while we have been working for them, they trust us being around or helping them if they need it. I Understand where you both are coming from. They were new to your home and had way too many ppl in and out of your home. If a owner comes in and checks over them it's typically after they finish cleaning your home. Not during the clean. With you guys being on YT, and having a podcast ect it does make your situation more vulnerable. So I agree with Sav & finding someone you either know or a friend can refer someone to you all. ( who they use or trust)

Sav won the draft, the cleaning story was so interesting 😳 definitely understand why you fired them. Also thanks for talking about your wedding and wedding night, it was personal yes but a lot of Christians don’t talk about it so I’m grateful that you did.
I listened to half of this as a podcast and half as the video and it was so different. When I listened as a podcast it felt like I was just listening to some friends and catching up with them. When I watched the video it felt comforting because it’s what I’m used to. I loved both ❤️

I would love to hear more about waiting for marriage until being intimate in bed with eachother, was it difficult? Had you guys experienced it before and then made that decision? Or did you decide from the beginning of your relationship? Did you ever think about changing your mind? Did it make it extra special? It’s really interesting to me, you don’t find many couples that wait until marriage?❤️

I’ve been married going on 6 years now, speaking of wedding nights, I had gotten my period 2 days before my wedding and had it while on our honeymoon and it had come a week early. I think it was just the stress of planning and everything. As for honeymoon phase I agree, it’s something you have to keep up each year and have the mindset of trying to keep up and putting in that effort everyday. Marriage isn’t easy but it’s worth it for sure!
    Love watching you guys!

Getting tubes when you are young is super common, but they don’t usually stay in your ears forever. They usually fall out on their own after 6 months-2 years. Some kids get them multiple times and I THINK (don’t know for sure) that there might be type of tube that you would always have, but that would be after you had multiple sets put in via surgery. I don’t know Sav’s case so who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️

I can totally relate when it comes to the wedding aspect of this wedding.. my husband Adam and I got married May 11th 2022. We paid for our wedding on our own without help from any of our family because times are hard and it was also right when COVID was calming down some. I definitely took the initiative with our wedding because I knew what I wanted and he went with it and supported me through everything. He was there through the cake testing appointments and food tasting appointments. My mom and sister obviously went with me to my fitting for my dress. We picked out venue together. We got married. Outside. If say we spent a total of $60,000 but that was including dress, food, alcohol, pictures, hotel, cake, decor, dj and I think it turned out amazing!
I had to edit after posting *** there is one thing I forgot to add ... When my husband and I went to go to do our cake tasting I said .. I need him to pick the cake and be happy with his decision because Id be biased. I love all cakes, flavors and etc. He not so much .. so he would have to be happy with his decision

My wedding night was so much fun during the ceremony, the reception, and afterwards. We had our ceremony christ centered, we washed each others feet and had communion. The nighttime our wedding bed was blessed ok lol.

So my wedding day was HECTIC!! First it was planned over a weekend,I bought my dress from a local prom store lol and we got married that Sunday, also it was only suppose to be our parents and pastor however my sweet mother in law invited my husbands family so all of them were there and most of my family didn’t get to make it (but they (understood). Anywho, we were over the youth group at church and had a black history program that Sunday also… so hear me out… we went to church service that morning, married at 3pm (my husband was late 🥴), had the black history program, drove back home (2 hours from our church) THAT NIGHT, and clocked in to work that Monday morning at 6:45 am 😂😂😂😂 we did have a good night 🙂 but never had a honey moon soo… I’m planning a trip someday to be our “official honeymoon”. We will celebrate 10 years Friday!! 🥰

It is work though and we communicate everyday and I think thats the number 1 most important thing. The honeymoon phase stayed for a long time but it did slip some having older kids in the house makes things harder if u get what Im saying. But we have communicated on ways to make that better and I can truly say we are more in love with each other than ever before. Its cute hearing ur story and remembering back to ours. U two are so perfect together.

The housekeeping experience is creepy and weird. I'm so private with my life, belongings and home. I'm so happy you fired them. Please lock up important and private stuff if you find another housekeeper just to be safe. Hopefully they didn't take anything valuable or private.
As for your wedding story, my husband and I too just fell asleep lol. I totally can vouch that marriage is beautiful but it takes a lot of work and dedication. People change and life is forever changing, which means you have to be adaptable and be willing to fight through the rough patches. My husband and I have been married for 7.5 years and we've known each other for 10 years before and we are still learning about each other surprisingly. I love these types of conversations. Thanks for sharing ❤️

Grommets are tiny tubes which are inserted into the eardrum. They allow air to pass through the eardrum, which keeps the air pressure on either side equal. The surgeon makes a tiny hole in the eardrum and inserts the grommet into the hole. The grommet usually stays in place for six to 12 months and then falls out.

I had 6 sets as a child before having ear drum skin graphs in both ears because I was born with holes in both drums...but yeah I'd get that checked out, the tubes can cause issues if they need to be removed and haven't been!

I hate unannounced visitors period. As a business that is very unprofessional. I used to own a cleaning company many years ago. Its always best to just ask what they want each time. All that being said why do yall need a house cleaner? Do you hate to clean? Personally i enjoy cleaning my home. When i get done i feel so accomplished. There are lots of storage and hacks on how to stay on top of it. Give yourself 20 minutes before bed to tidy up even if its start a load of laundry, load the dishwasher and clean off counters. Having a playroom that you can shut the door on with 2 kids is great. I fold laundry while watching a show. And it is never too early to instill helper clean up with kids. They love to help out. For my grandkids i load up a tiny laundry basket with items the need to be put away. For every chore complete they earn an m&m or skittle. If its a big job for them then we do a popsicle or we go get mcds fries & milkshake. Having the right products help too. I use a swiffer but with old wash cloths that i run thru the washing machine. My wash machine door stays open to keep from mildew but also to throw in colors. When it is full i just need to add detergent and push start. When i have enough whites built up i do then too. Ask folks to remove shoes before entering bc you have bsbies that will swollow stuff but also walking in off the streets is disgusting bc people walk in animal feces and pee, people sit on the ground, oil and other car chemicals. Pinesol made up in a spray bottle and clorox clean up make your house smell so clean and diluted is great for many surfaces. Anything leaking thrown in trash shoild be double bagged. Nothing more disgusting than leaky trash or funk in bottam of trash can. Clean up wipes are nice for quick jobs like pee on toilet seat or baby puke on stuff. That quiet time when all kids are asleep is my favorite time to get stuff donenas i listen to a podcast. Then a hot bath soak. If you can get your husband to help then he can get in the bubbles with you lol.

It's very common to get headaches and migraines from chocolate!! Instead of discounting her husband's experiences, Sav should listen to what Josh is saying. He gets headaches from specific chocolate. Sav told him he was wrong, that it's "not normal" and it must be an allergy. Josh felt shut down so he agreed and let it go to keep the peace. Someone's medical experiences are their own. Migraines are a neurological disability. They're very serious. Chocolate is commonly a trigger for migraines. Maybe Josh should do a headache diary, find his triggers (like chocolate) and see his PCP. He may benefit from seeing a neurologist. I take lots of meds and have been getting Botox injections every 12 wks for a decade. He may need rescue meds to stop a migraine when he feels it coming on.

    It's called Grommets..lol @ ear Tubes..
They actually pop out of your ears once they are done with draining the fluid...so it's highly unlikely that the grommets would still be in your ears.

I dated my husband for almost 3 years Before we eloped (5 years ago). I am from the Midwest and he is from the East Coast and our families still have not met and it will stay that way if I have anything to do with it. I know they will not get along and I just don’t need that drama in my life 🤷🏼‍♀️ I married the man not his family ❤

I get headaches from candy sometimes. I know it’s definitely high sugar, but maybe it’s also in how it’s processed. Like I may get a headache from eating a bag of m&ms, but I could eat a slice of chocolate cake and be fine 🤷🏾‍♀️

I had one experience of hiring “ merrymaids”. They came to my house, we conversed about what they were going to do, then I thanked them and left, supposedly for the day. I forgot something and unexpectedly returned and found one of the girls rummaging through my drawers. Ive never rehired a group like that again because i dont trust people that i dont know.

To settle the debate, I searched a video of the brand and apparently it’s actually “Ree-sis” 😂

DEFINITELY get an independent house cleaner. They’re more dependable and they come at a time YOU want.
