I personally have tried to read the Bible before but I never understood what I was reading. Now I am a mom to an 18 month old and we’re reading 365 days of Bible stories and prayers every night and not only am I thankful that he’ll grow up with the knowledge unlike I did but I am literally also learning while reading these stories to him ❤
I want nothing more than to sit and have conversations with Josh and Sav they are so fun😂

I love listening to you two chat about life : it's wonderful for such a young couple.
I am a single parent to a daughter, now 23 years old, and we couldn't be closer if we tried. Sav was on the right track by saying that you should make your kids feel safe and comfortable in their home space and around their parents. One thing I have always done, and still do, is to encourage conversation. When she was a baby and I came home from work, I would ask 'how is my baby? You had a good day with grandma?' There was no answer, of course, then. But when she started at Kindergarten, I continued the questions, adding stuff like 'did you make a new friend today? Did you color or count?' This became such a thing for her to tell me about her day that, by mid Primary school, she was chatting as soon as she came in the car when I picked her up from school, without me even asking anything. You'd be surprised to know what you can learn from these conversations. To this day, at 23 years old, she still tells me about her day. The best thing is, in between all that, I was able to offer advice and guidance without it seeming like any kind of pressure because it seemed like the correct thing to do since she learned that from a baby. Love and a safe environment is key to happy, healthy kids. You guys are on the right track. You'll make mistakes, like we all do, but learn from them, then keep moving forward. Most importantly, continue to keep God as your guide.

And I loved the topic you guys talked about. My fiance and I had kid very early on in our relationship and we had 2 boys 9 months apart and it WAS SOOO HARD for us the first couple years but we managed and fought thru obstacles and now we have come so far in our relationship it's incredible

I’m biracial as well and my aunt would always show my mom who’s white how to do my hair properly for my texture. I absolutely love the fact that Josh’s family is all in for teaching you and supporting you through aspects of your children that you haven’t learned yet. My family did the same thing. Also as a biracial 18 year old I was always so insecure about my skin color bc I felt like I didn’t fit in with neither black nor white kids so take that as a little boost of help in how to go about making sure your kids know their worth. Absolutely love you guys and your conversations!!!!!!!! God bless you ❤

The schedule is literally the best decision me and my wife every made. At first we thought it would ruin the passion, but it literally did the opposite and actually made us want to connect more than are already frequent schedule, its done wonders to our overall relationship. Definitely prolonging that honeymoon phase . We also make a point to take a weeks break every month where we are just praying and spending our time in the word. Postpartum i heard lasted for 6 months no connecting. One person told me him and his wife hadn’t did anything for 8 months after have their first child but after 2 child it was only 2 months

I am loving this style of podcast. It is so fresh, honest, funny and mature at the same time. We get to know more of you and to also share alignment of values, meaning of marriage, family, etc. I am 25 and get inspired by you. When I get married, I wanna follow the same marriage values that you share. I love you! You are such beautiful, strong and kind people.
Also on another note, ABOUT YOU WANTING TO HAVE A BOY...
There are more girls than boys in the world, and if you think about it, boys gender reveal are indeed rare. I once read that the secret to have a boy is to conceive on the day of your ovulation, preferably not before, cause the girl sperm is slower although survives longer inside the woman body, whereas boy sperm is quicker to move and doesn't live that long, so the ovulation day is perfect to conceive a boy. If you never try you'll never know ahahahah

As a child I remember my younger years but I remember the fights my parents had more than the good times. I was raised by my grandparents after I was 4. My parents weren’t around much but when I have children I’m going to change that for them.

I agree with Sav’s first choice. Sprite for the win! I love how simple sprite is and it pairs well with a meal. I feel like Coke and Pepsi are too extra to have with anything and are best when drank alone whereas with Sprite you can drink it with food or without. As for root beer? Issa no for me.

Hey Josh and Sav so my parent look like ya and my mom definitely messed up my hair cry😢she did not know what she was doing unfortunately. My daughter has my hair so the mistakes made on me with hair will not happen with her and her hair is so long. I have very curly hair but keep it straight in winter. But love to see this I wish my mom would of asked instead of perming my hair 🤦🏾♀️.
